Guantanamo Bay is an interesting place, it's been under control by the USA thanks to a old treaties dating back to the Spanish/American war, The USA pays Castro roughly $4,000 a year to lease Guantanamo bay. Castro however has never cashed a single check because America has broken the treaty in so many ways Cuba now calls America's use of Guantanamo Bay an "Occupation."

1. I think when all is said and done, Gitmo is going to be America's biggest permanent black eye in Bush's ridiculously bungled "War on Teh Terrah."
Seriously, there are tons of innocent people in Gitmo who have suffered no end of disgraceful atrocities and inhuman forms of torture for six fucking years without the slightest hint of ever having a trial to prove whether or not they belong there. These are people who committed no crimes, and they have no connection to those who attacked us. They simply had the misfortune of being brown skinned Muslims.
Yes. It's easy to simply pretend America's torture camps don't exist, and people still believe we are a nation of morals and of laws. And, it's always baffled me how these imitation patriots can reconcile one with the other without their hypocrisy eating them alive.

2. According to Michael Moore, the inhabitants of Guantanamo Bay are living a paradise with free food and health-care, perhaps better than Americans. If you want to bring justice to those who have none you should bring up the topics of the concentration camps in North Korea. or the reeducation camps in China and Burma.
