1. We are not going to end this war. We are going to get into more wars. It's all about oil and money. It also seems like a lot of our foreign policy is really run by Israel, not the U.S. We have issues with Russia and China. A lot of the problems would go away if we could stop meddling with the middle east. Those people have been fighting for thousands of years, but we never learn. If I were President, I would declare the U.S. an isolationist state for a period of five years. I would put an oil consumption freeze to stop the US from oil dependency in that part of the world. We do have resources for rainy days and it is high time we used them. I would also ask the leaders of Iraq if there was anything they wanted from us before I pulled American troops. I would not put sanctions on Iran, but I would stay on the U.N. to keep up inspections. I would also put a moratorium on financial support from lobbyists for Israel in Congress for a period of five years. I would keep limited troops in Afganistan and I would not intervene in Pakistan's affairs. And, I would hold off on nuclear weapons talks with Iran until they proved that they were no longer sponsoring state terrorism.

2. What's this?!? Iran is now the "World's Leading State Sponsor of teh terrahism?"
Bush is the President, so why doesn't he just concoct some proof for his accusations? Maybe a pie chart?
Oh wait. That damned pesky National Security Estimate keeps his lies from gaining traction.
I honestly can't believe why people are still listening to this asshole president of ours. If he wants to attack Iran, put a gun in the delusional coward's hands, give him a pat on his empty head, and let him have at it.
His dishonesty and his incompetence has murdered a lot of Americans, so why should anyone listen to him now?

3. Dan,
First off---it's NIE as in National Intelligence Estimate. Secondly, the very same report in 2005 claimed that Iran was persuing weaponization of fissile material. Our Intelligence agencies have a poor record of accuracy. Iraq being no exception. Our intelligence services haven't been accurrate since WW2. Korea, Cold War, Afghanistan (Soviet Invasion), Lebanon, Somalia, Kosovo, etc.
Cherry picking which report to assume as accurate is an error in judgement. Iram's 3000 centrifuges aren't producing cotton candy.

"Our Intelligence agencies have a poor record of accuracy"
If you doubt this , please refer to "Legacy Of Ashes", a history of the CIA. It shows clearly how poorly the CIA has done on the gathering and analysis of intelligence as it is chartered by law. Its covert paramilitary part has always been the one where attention was focused, no too well I might add, while the analysis of gathered information has been allowed to stagnate.

5. Suckers. Suckers believe Bush.
The plan to invade and destroy and steal Iran's oil is older than the Bush Junta. It's all spelled out in the, "Project For A New American Century."|
What's different this times, suckers? Bush has been caught repeatedly lying about Iran.
When Bush ran out of lies to tell about Iraq, the U.S. invaded anyway. Same here.
Since Nancy Pussy-losi announced that there would be no impeachments, they have absolutely nothing to fear... except prison.
I suspect that attacking Iran will come after an extreme, false flag emergency. Probably well timed to induce maximum fear in the American people.
Wingnuts are the biggest nanny-staters of all, wanting Dick & Bush to protect them from dark-eyed, Muslims.

6. It is interesting to note that Valorie Plame was the CIA expert on WMDs in the Middle East. She had spent years recruiting scientists, politicians, you name it/them to report to the CIA on the weapons production for Iran, Syria, Iraq, etc. Once she was outed any intelligence service could merely crosscheck her meetings and discover our spies. Her outing did two obvious things. One, our spies in the middle east were simultaneously outed and two, our ability to recruit future spies was hampered. After all, who would sign up with a foriegn government when that government had proven that your secrecy and perhaps your life was insecure and at the whim of politicians.
If you had gone to lets say, Russia and told the KGB the names of our agents would you not be guilty of treason?
I just thought I would throw that in since we were talking about the NIE.
Also, Jeff, if you are listening, my direct link to your site is no longer on AOL's main news page. How do I complain to AOL about this. I think that you bring us some of the most interesting videos. Thanks

8. Bush is afraid of Jewish lobbyists and Israel who have recently instructed him to ignore US Intelligence and instead follow foreign Israeli intelligence and start war with Iran to serve Israel and betray US interests! But you'll never read a single word of critizicism about Israel in the US MEDIA because it is forbiden to do so. Seriously everyone is critiisized BUT Isreal. Does that strike NO ONE as strange. Fine - then I guess the USA has to just do what they say. Let's get ready to start War With IRAN. Bush is a coward!
