Out of the 500 videos I have now posted to AOL, only a handful have featured Presidential hopeful Barack Obama.
I am troubled by the number of Emails I get screaming "Barack is a Muslim." So allow me to debunk this AOL rumour right now. Well... I won't debunk it myself, but if you have ever visited snopes.com you know it's the Internet's oldest and most trusted Urban Legend Reference website. On Snopes there is a lengthy explanation to how Americans have been duped into thinking Barack is Muslim. CNN also cleared the rumour with the investigation video below which aired after the rumour was started by a neocon website, and was spread Nationally by Fox News.

Obama being raised as a muslim can you put that in your american freedom of heart. Today as a adult I still do stupid thing my parents showed me. I still treat people with a race content, because that is the way I was raised. The type of people who wrote the featured emails cannot be ignored. There are way too many of them. They see these lies and not only fail to question them, they pass them on to other naive people.
The right-wing shadow government has learned that assassinating the character is the most effective tool they have.

I often wonder if this machine would use it's brilliance for something possitive, how much better we would all be for it!
However, unfortunately this tool has worked for them over and over again. We as citizens must stand up and not allow it to happen again!!!
Now, assuming for just one minute that Senator Obama was of the Musslim faith, which HE IS NOT! How does this make him a bad man or an evil man? How far and how long, are people going to allow the ignorance to continue?

9. Many people have asked me about these "rumors". I am glad to say that with some patience and a lot of reason and facts, all of them have been glad to learn the truth. (As if the people of Illinois would elect a terrorist as a Senator!)
One of my friends has become an active supporter, as a result of things she learned ...because of questions she asked because of the bad spam. So some good comes from it.
Think about this: Vote with your rebate, folks....pledge 10% of the so-called stimulus rebate check to the candidate you think could REALLY help our economy. I will be paying bills but have decided to send some to Obama because I hope for real, positive change.
BTW, I'm a white female homeowner living under the "poverty level" in Texas, and my enthusiasm for Barack Obama comes from his ideas, not his diction.

14. Personally as a registered Independent, I am largely satisfied that Obama does not have sufficient ties to Islam to warrant not voting for him on that basis.
However, the fact remains that Obama has utterly failed to address within his candidacy or elsewhere the central threat against the Western world: ISLAM.
