Out of the 500 videos I have now posted to AOL, only a handful have featured Presidential hopeful Barack Obama.
I am troubled by the number of Emails I get screaming "Barack is a Muslim." So allow me to debunk this AOL rumour right now. Well... I won't debunk it myself, but if you have ever visited snopes.com you know it's the Internet's oldest and most trusted Urban Legend Reference website. On Snopes there is a lengthy explanation to how Americans have been duped into thinking Barack is Muslim. CNN also cleared the rumour with the investigation video below which aired after the rumour was started by a neocon website, and was spread Nationally by Fox News.

16. jaime p, Mr Obama HAS stated his religious beliefs, over & over again! He has very openly stated that several years back, he became a devout Christian, inviting Jesus Christ to be his Savior. He's addressed his religious beliefs (Christian). He's stated many times that he was sworn into office on a Bible. And, no one is required to say the Pledge of Allegiance or sing the National Anthem.

He has said the same on national television interviews more than once, that he leads the senate on occasion in the pledge of allegiance and he sings the star spangled banner. And he is a christian and was sworn into the senate on the bible and that is a matter of record, liar.

If he gets the nominiation and you try stuff like that it will blow up in your face.
You're not dealing with Kerry or anything like it. This guy has charisma unknown to politics, just music. My father was the state democratic chairman for Kennedy, and from what I've seen, Kennedy wasn't this wildly popular. Part of that is Eisenhower wasn't evil, but the bush to reagan administrations are and those displaced by them know it.
He's way ahead of kennedy in that respect and he got it almost instantly. He's a leader for a country in search of one.
I hope he gets the nomination, and I hope they do try to rove him. In fact I hope they try some of the racist filth you're trying to perpetrate here.
I'm pretty sure that if he called republicans communists, everybody all over the world will follow suit and you'll be communists from then on.
He may not use it, but he will very likely have that kind of power.
When he was in denver a couple of days ago, he drew a crowd of 12,000 +. By contrast, mittens couldn't fill up a parking lot. On top of that he raised 30 million in the last month - more than any republican except ron paul. there's something going on.
He may not get the nomination but if he does, give your typical rove bedwetting and pewling your best shot. I know what will happen. It's like hating elvis or the beatles. People will see it as weakness and turn on you. Wait and see how far you get with it.

22. Obama is a breath of fresh air on the political scene. He carry's himself with a lot of class and stands out and above the other Presidental contenders.
But, the smut flows everywhere. Jeff complains about the lies and hate spread on his blog site, but sometimes he and some of his sources are in the mud with the others. Decent web sites police what is said, Jeff has no problems what people say, especially if they have the same views a Jeff.
Jeff you allow this what you are complaining about to go on and on. You show examples of hate and lies against Obama, then it takes only a few posts for a post statement saying "the guy is talking out his ass", and the post is still there.
This blog is full of PROVEN LIARS who will say anything, language that would have one blocked off AOL. DailyKos, and other decent sites that do not allow cursing or personal attacks.
Obama should be the choice for the Democrats for the November Election and the Republicans should aim high to also put a candidate with Obamas class. Give USA voters a choice for who is the best, not voting again for who is not as bad as the other guy.
Obama just got endorsement of MoveOn, without comments as to his family tree.

29. I really couldn't care less about Barry Obamma's skin color or what his name sounds like. What does concern me is that there's not a dime's worth of difference between his policies and Hillary's and he's rated as the biggest lefty in Congress.
And why doesn't he at least have to answer a few tough questions about his faith like Romney has had to? The pastor of his church in Chicago is a guy that makes the "nutty professor" seem eminently rational by comparison.
