It turns out the surprising answer is yes:
What do you think? Have you been impressed by her campaign? I'm not asking whether you're going to vote for her; I'm asking whether you think she's run a smart and effective campaign.

1. I think she thought she was anointed going into the Iowa contest and then got a rude awakening when Obama was able to beat her. She then made a conscious decision with Bill to LET HIM turn up the
the negative vibe and attack, while she tried to remain above it. She took Nevada - surprisingly - then turned Bill loose in SC, thinking his status as the "first black President" was actually a real thing with some clout. They have discovered to their horror they are white and the black folks had actually noticed that. Beaten badly, they will now try and drive a wedge between the Hispanics and the black voters. It is how they operate. They will use any tactic or leverage to win.

2. Hillary Clinton is a smart and savvy politician. The issue is Democrats are going to be wary of giving the Clinton's a third term in the White House. Reluctant Democrats know that the GOP is going to unleash holy hell on Hillary and Bill in order to stop them. The Republican party would put up Bugs Bunny as their nominee if it would stop the Clinton's.
The problem is are we as a party ready to get into the whole Clinton saga of the 1990's again?
My instinct is that it is time to move on. I think Barack Obama represents moving on and putting the past behind us.
Mrs. Clinton can have her Senate seat in New York as long as she wants it. The GOP has failed to stop her so far; likely they won't for years to come, if ever.

Plutarch warned, "The real destroyer of the liberties of the people is he who spreads among them bounties, donations and benefits."

4. Hillary is a very good politician, maybe as good as Bill. Here is my experience with each one of them. Last year at a health conference in San Francisco where Bill Clinton was the keynote speaker, he impressed me with his knowledge of health issues. But what impressed me even more was how he stayed after the conference to mingle with the attendees for over an hour. Then, yesterday, at a campaign rally in San Jose, I was able to get backstage to meet with Hillary along with about two dozen local elected officials and vips after she had already giving a 40 minute speech to 4000 people. Her handlers said that she would only shake our hands and that she would not pose for pictures. However, when she came by, she spoke with each of us and posed for pictures too. She even autpographed anything we wanted signed.

7. Considering the fact that Hillary's efforts to manufacture fake sincerity are way too obvious, I'd say she's wearing a little thin across America.
And you can't be the "smartest woman in America" and then go completely blank and say "I don't recall" (Rose Law Firm, Juanita Broderick, Vince Foster) when somebody asks you to answer a question that you really should know, had you been paying attention even slightly more than Bill was when he started sawing Z's behind the keynote speaker at the MLK - fest the other day.

10. Hey Sparcello, who gave out $300 checks when we had a surplus, "because it's "our" money? Answer Bush. Who's giving out hand outs now? Bush.
Plutarch was right. You don't even know you argued against your position.

11. I see the norm Hillary bashers on this blog. I am hear to set the record straight for them, whether they are republicans or independent. When Elijah Muhammed died in 1974, his son Wallace was his successor. Upon taking office, Wallace Muhammed's goal was to integrate the Nation of Islam into an orthodox community. In 1975, Louis Farrakhan-the long awaited "messiah" claimed to be the resurrection of the second "messiah" and has promised to make it a American Muslim Mission to convert christianity gradually by assigning one of his followers to bring them in. The church of Obama is "in fact" doing this by promoting this man and awarding him for his accomplishments. If Obama is really not involved with this movement, he should have distances himself from this cult. Instead, he defends the church's position. Now, the people that don't believe the truth are being seduced by the words that were made to seduce. Oprah, youth, and adults are seeing a new era ahead, an era of change, but, little do they know that the American Muslim Movement is responsible for this deceit. Please pass this truth all over the internet and have our youth stop being seduce by the very thing that can destroy our christian beliefs. I rather vote for an american pie gal- than give my country up to this secret movement. Check the movement and you will "find the truth". May Christ reign forever.

12. Hillary does not hold a candle to the political savvy of her husband, mainly because she lacks a very important quality that Bill has boatloads of...charisma. Hillary has made a valiant effort to change her public image from a cold, calculating, power-hungry politician to an empathetic, approachable, messenger of change; however, most of us are smart enough to figure out it's just a political maneuver. A leopard cannot change it's spots. In Bill, she has an excellent mentor; however, she has been unable to exploit his strengths to her advantage because she lacks his warmth and congeniality.
I agree with in part with David S's post...I don't think the country wants another four years of Clinton craziness.
I saw a great bumper sticker the other day that says it all: Monica Lewinsky's Ex-Boyfriend's Wife for President.

13. Dennis:
If there is money sitting around Washington to give back to taxpayers it should not have been taken in the first place. If there are no excess funds in the Treasury, deficit spending should not be used to fund any so called stimulus plans.
Here is a real stimulus plan:
1) Immediately stop all new Government spending except for actual "Goods and Services".
2) Scrap the IRS and all Income tax codes. Replace them with a 12% National Sales Tax that is reduced 3% per year until it reaches 3%.
3) Require a Balanced Budget immediately. Deficit spending to be approved only when there has been a Declaration of War by Congress or with a two-thirds majority vote by both Houses of Congress.
4) Repeal the 17th Amendment.
5) Immediately begin the voluntary "Personalization" of Social Security. Congress may not spend one cent of these funds.
Keep the $300.00 "Checks", Give me the 'Big Five' "Balances".
ATTENTION: Captain Negative!!!!!!!

14. I think she's running a pretty good compaign so far bossman. Like all the rest, it emphasing her strenghts. Now, the Democratic Party isn't going to beat up one of their nominee's to badly.
But there is trouble in the rear view mirrow for her boss and it's called the GOP. We'll see how her compaign changes when she's up against them.

15. After bush 41 left office Bill Clinton left office with 23,000,000 NET new jobs and a large Budget SURPLUS. It will take another Clinton do undo the mess of bush43, $5,000,000,000,000.00 deficit and now 17,000 LOST jobs last month.
