These people are professional rabble rousing whiners and it is in their personal economic best interest to have a Democrat in the White House so they can rile up rabid wingnuts. Especially with Limbaugh. He has been around since Bush 41. He knows when his bread gets buttered. It is a lot easier to keep listeners angry and listening by attacking Democrats then it is while trying to defend a useless idiot like Bush or McCain. It is all about them. They know they have not got an ounce of influence over anything Republicans do. They just want their target audience stirred up and tuned in. Our country is going to hell in a basket in a hurry. September 11, 2001 was one of the darkest if not “the” darkest day in our history. Since that day, we have become more and more hostile towards each other. For a while we talked a good game of “United we Stand”, looking back at those few days or moments it makes me sick to see where we have gone to and what we have become.

Now, we have individuals like Mr. Beck and Rush with a huge responsibility when they are at their pulpit reaching thousands if not millions of citizens. How do they take this responsibility or privilege? They have a plan to help “the” other party, so they can help divide the country more! Wow… These good Americans are some of the very same individuals, who chose to call all those of us who have opposed this war, Un-Americans!

There is a bumper sticker that I sometimes see as I am driving along, and it says, “If you are not angry, you have not been paying attention”. Can we stop for a moment here and pay attention. Please?

How much longer are we going to tolerate this garbage? How much longer are we going to be each other’s enemies? How is this behavior acceptable? If in deed there is a “plan” to make sure the other side wins, so then they can turn around and blame the Democrats; how is this acceptable to any intelligent person out there?

John McCain is not my personal choice for president, and I do not like the way he has changed his positions on critical issues, just so he can become more appealing to the “ultra-conservatives. As a Democrat, I want to see Barack Obama or Hillary Clinton in the White House.

However, I do not understand why his own party hates John McCain. Moreover, there is no rational reason for the treatment John McCain gets from his very own party. Where do people like Glenn Beck, Rush and Ann Coulter get off mouthing off the way they do? Where is the outrage from the conservatives that love their war heroes? Where are all the people that like to fill their mouths with words such as “Support our Troops”? Why are they not speaking out against these attacks towards this man? John McCain served his nation; he has tried to work with both Republicans and Democrats for the better of the people of this nation, while serving in the Senate. He is a thousand times the man, the current president is! So for all of his troubles, he gets kicked in the gut. Is there nothing this new breed of Republicans will do to hold on to power? Is there no lows to which they will go to achieve their means? The answer to that is, no, there are no lows, there are no tricks, there is no one they will stab in the back. Not even war heroes.

So, if this is the same April that exchanged some thoughts with me a while ago. I think you left your party a litte too soon! I realize that there are a lot of things wrong there too, but this.... this is beyond sick and disgusting.

If this is not the same April, well then please accept my apologies.

Thanks for your concern. What I am going to do from now on and encourage my fellow Conservatives to do is "Sell our Vote" to the highest bidder. Every politician will be required to put into legislation items on our agenda and do so until they pass. Here is what the opening bid for my vote would look like:
1) Immediately stop all new Government spending except for actual "Goods and Services".
2) Scrap the IRS and all Income tax codes. Replace them with a 12% National Sales Tax that is reduced 3% per year until it reaches 3%.
3) Require a Balanced Budget immediately. Deficit spending to be approved only when there has been a Declaration of War by Congress or with a two-thirds majority vote by both Houses of Congress.
4) Repeal the 17th Amendment.
5) Immediately begin the voluntary "Personalization" of Social Security. Congress may not spend one cent of these funds.

Any Politician that votes against or fails to put forth these reforms will be listed in a "Benedict Arnold" data base. They would never receive a vote from a Conservative voter.
