Hillary's Experience In Screwing Up
Hillary Clinton presents herself as the candidate of "experience." So far this isn't helping her. Why? Because most people realize that her experience is mainly in screwing up.
We all know about Hillary's arrogant attempt to take over one-sixth of the U.S. economy through her nationalized health care scheme. Americans rebelled against this, and Bill Clinton wisely dropped the idea.
Hillary doesn't talk much about that, but she does talk about her foreign policy experience. This is puzzling, because the New York Times reported a few months ago that Hillary didn't have a security clearance and virtually never attended any foreign policy meetings.
But let's say she did. What experience can she claim? Well, the radical Muslims launched a series of devastating attacks against U.S. targets in the 1990s. They bombed the Khobar Towers facility in Saudi Arabia, they attacked two U.S. embassies in East Africa, they launched a suicide attack against the U.S.S. Cole. And what did the Clinton administration do in response? Basically nothing.
Between 1996, when he declared war on America and moved from the Sudan to Afghanistan, Bin Laden was a public figure. He lived in a house provided by Mullah Omar and preached in the local mosque. He granted interviews to the British journalist Robert Fisk, to Peter Arnett of CNN, to John Miller of ABC news, to the Pakistani journalist Abdel Bari Atwan. The Clintons have been saying that they did everything in their power to get Bin Laden, but how could all these journalists so easily locate Bin Laden while the Clinton administration couldn't?
Experience counts when it points to a record of accomplishment. Hillary's experience, to the degree that she was involved at all, has been one of neglecting the threat of radical Islam and consequently emboldening Bin Laden to strike us on 9/11.
If you want to read more about the political and cultural roots of 9/11, my book The Enemy at Home is out in paperback this week.

31. Tom, confusing cosmetology with cosmology is more than a typo and hardly comparable to skipping a letter while typing, which, by the way, hardly qualifies as "ignorance." If you've read any of my posts, you would know that I have never claimed any knowledge of universal truths. The arrogant statements are coming from you and so do the unfouded accusations. I don't hate you. I don't even know you. I disagree with you and it's nothing I lose sleep over. Maybe you need to relax a little.

32. "great job reminding us how completely and absolutely full of Sh*t the republicans have been over the last forty years!"
You might want to rephrase it to: "remind us of how completely and absolutely full of Sh*t all politicians have been in the last forty years."
What makes you think that being full of shit is limited to one party?
In this day in age, no politician votes on something using their moral compass. Everybody is influenced.
On another subject, we had the primaries here in Maryland yesterday, and I asked a couple of my Friends who they voted for.
They said Bill Clinton. They were serious.
I'm pulling for Barack, I just hope for his safety throughout this process.

34. As much as you point out Hillary Clinton's screwing up, she can only dream about screwing up remotely as much as the legendary screw-up George W. Bush.
And i'm not even voting for her.

35. How did this get turned into a debate on Christianity again! Oh, wait a minute, Mr Hays is involved. "I want to elect a President who knows the difference between a Sales Pitch for a Resurrection Cult and a History Book." Why William, why? Get a fucking life dude! I've been following this blog for the past week or two and I'm convinced that of all the people on this blog you make the LEAST FUCKING SENSE! This was about Hillary and how bad she sucks. If you disagree, the refute him with logic and reason. Or maybe the most logical thing is to start a debate on.......Christianity. I see how they are related. And please don't give me any bullshit about being mean-spirited.

"Mike Huckabee was a Baptist Minister. He raised his hand to say he did not "believe" in evolution during a Republican Presidential debate."
Mike Huckabee! How the hell is Mike Huckabee a part of this! Was this about about an Arkansas Governor? Hmmm. In some strange way, I think it was. Huckabee is running for president. Hillary is running for president. Hillary is married to Bill Clinton. He was the President. Before that he was the Guv of Arkansas. William, you are brilliant.

37. Using the term 'screwing up' in a political blog this year brings a few thousand things to mind before hillary, like everyone in the administration and every republican candidate, all of who stood for more of the same or WAY more of the same.
Definitely mike huckabee was one of them. Can you imagine if he didn't believe in engineering or hygienic practices that came after 1859? That guy could have been a threat to civilization.
And mccain's screwups will be front and center soon enough with all the votes or no votes in the senate and all the attachments to all those votes that he voted for too. And the flipflopping.
I wonder if the old rove breast cancer and illegitimate black baby and mental illness due to his imprisonment stuff will come back again. That was one noxious brew. I wonder if southerners still think that, for that matter.

I don't think the United States is ready to elect a woman President. I think making Hillary the Democratic nominee would guarantee a win for the Republicans.
It's difficult to say whether Hillary, McCain or Huckabee is the Least Qualified. McCain is too old. I mean, seriously, he's too old. Romney was a Mormon.
If you're going to discuss Hillary's qualifications, the only meaningful test is, is she better or worse than the other candidates? Can she be elected? I desperately want a space on the ballot that says OTHER.
I don't think Hillary is a bad choice. I just don't think America will vote for her.

It's a shame anyone with a transcript seems to be able to get published, not for any actual reason besides profit for the publisher, since they know insanity sells.

43. The truth is coming out about the "False Choice" that was offered by the Democratic Party. They used a strategy "Clinton or Else" and it backfired. Obama saw a weakness in the likability factor of Edwards, complicated by Ann Coulter's "F-bomb" and the facination with his hair care. Obama ignored the establishment rules and upset the Apple Cart. Obama drained all the hope out of Edward's antiHillary approach by capturing the attention of the Blacks. Hillary tried to anger the Feminists and capture the "Bimbo Vote." The women weren't angry enough so Hillary cried. This proved she is weak on National Security and the other mistakes have placed her in line for the next Supreme Court selection. As for Obama, his deception and deceit are legendary. He's from Harvard and he hasn't come up with an original theme or idea. "We Can" came from the 2004 election. Oprah was asked to endorse Kerry-Edwards and declined. Fired up came from someone in South Carolina. Obama is "Wet behind the ears." Republicans are salivating because they could keep control after violating the Constitution! They should be facing charges of treason and impeachment! The Senate Ethics is too focused on "Wide Bathroom Stances and Steroids." What's up with their fixation on butts? As for the media that met with Bin Laden, would you put on a blindfold and allow them to take you for a ride? How many people tried to meet and didn't make it? We make movies about those who fail? Hillary didn't screw up, she wasn't qualified. Monica Lewinsky has about as much credibility as Hillary. That's unfair! Monica didn't run for Senate. If running for Senate is all you need to do, then Obama is qualified too. It was a false choice that the Clinton's ego didn't believe America would reject. It's unconstitutional for Bill to have a 3rd term. If McCain embraces Bush, we will evaluate Obama against a Third Party! If Obama screws up by making this about race, he's done! Let the White House paint start to get darker and we will sour on his possible "transformation." The Muslim charges are ugly!

why are you telling me your oxycontin rush fanasies?
I'll say one thing about it though, when I heard homer simpbaugh babbling about her murdering vince foster and dragging the body from wherever to wherever, I remember thinkin', man this motherfucker is so high his shirt buttons itch!
Hey, I heard some really sinister stuff about huckabee on clear channel this morning. He was taking money from harvest and dominionist groups. That guy is as much of a traitor as a communist or a fascist or a nazi. It's scary when that kind of loony can get anywhere near the presidency. Robertson was another one.
major flipflop on mccain and the torture too - now it's OK, apparently same as the billionaire's tax breaks all of a sudden. Twisted talk express.
Maybe rove is right about that guy. He's acting like there's maybe something wrong in his head, but since he's a republican, and now I guess a mussolini republican, it's hard to tell.
