6. Romney is the sickest man in the world in more ways than one. My impression of him when hearing him speak and smirk tells me that what he is saying doesn't ring true. It's almost like he can't believe that people are buying into what he's saying." Like lambs to the slaughter" I'm glad the most insincere candidate has bit the dust.As for McCain,I don't believe he can get through 4 years in the white house without caving in to the ultra conservative pressure that will await him if he is elected.And the new york times article is fiction.

7. The sickest man in America???!!! Because McCain and Huckaphony were the media darlings and got tons of free cable and news coverage, where the small amount of coverage of Romney were always negative! Rather than sickest man he should be call the most honorable in the race! He is generous--he donated his entire Olympics salary to charity, worked for no pay as Gov. of MASS, and much much more!

Huckabee has a history of corruption and lack of ethics and is one of two republican presidential candidates on the list of TOP TEN MOST CORRUPT POLITICIANS of 2007. One example, after being married for 30 years, Huckabee set up a WEDDING registry at Target for him and his wife to receive gifts for their house. The wedding registry was a way to avoid ethics laws prohibiting gifts to politicians.
Huckabee raised a son who stoned and hung a dog to death. David was fired as a Boy Scout's counselor for disobeying the "Be Kind" scout's creed . Daddy Huck hindered the police investigation of David for animal cruelty. This should bring pause to anyone thinking of voting for Huckabee. Mike Huckabee does not appear to have good judgment. He pressured the Arkansas Parole Board to free a convicted rapist, Wayne Dumond -- who then moved to Missouri and raped and killed two more women. Worse yet, he lies to this day about it, denying he had a role. Huckabee's former lawyer -- referred to reporters by Huckabee's own campaign, to support his story -- actually said that the governor called Dumond's sentence "outlandish" and "way out of line", and that Huckabee pushed for Dumond's release. Huckabee refuses to release the documents from his office concerning the case. A former aide has said that Huckabee's staff discussed how to make sure that documents about the case, especially the letters from other Dumond victims, could be kept secret. Huckabee could never win in a general election. Imagine his Confederate flag flap being played over and over in the Dem's TV ads. And he wants to amend the Constitution to his religious agenda. This would alienate many moderates and independents. Americans don't want to be ruled by an extreme religious leader. Huckabee underperformed in every state that didn't have a strong base of evangelicals, even loosing to Ron Paul in five of those states.
Keep in mind Huckabee may be an ex-preacher but PAST ACTIONS ALWAYS SPEAK LOUDER THAN ELECTION-YEAR WORDS! Please do your homework if you're thinking of voting for the smooth talking Huckaphony!

11. As an old white guy ..... I think it's time for America to put it's money where our mouths are .... to walk the walk. If we truly believe in our democracy, then we need to show the world our constitution, Bill of Rights, and the inscription on the Statue of Liberty are more than just words .... I'm tired of Fat Hypocritical radio talk people, swift boaters, and the religious right, .... people who don't really believe in America that want to divide us, not unite us!

Funny, how it worked out. He threw millions of HIS OWN money and got no where. Yet others are throwing three and four times as much of OTHER PEOPLE'S money and seem to be doing okay. I guess if you use your own money then you are attempting to "buy" your way into the process. If you can get others to empty their wallets into yours then that is no big deal.

14. This was really dumb. What was even dumber are the people that voted for McCain or Huckabee. We are in an economic crisis and people wanted to vote for a Senator that helped create the problem in the first place and for a Baptist preacher that loves to raise taxes? Why not vote for someone that knows money more than anyone else? Why not vote for someone who is famous for getting institutions out of financial problems? If you are sick, you go to a Doctor, not a plumber. Our country is financially sick and yet you voted to go see a plumber instead of a financial doctor. So sad . . . and dumb.
Mitt Romney had to spend so much money because so many people are religious bigots and listen to tales about Romney's "mysterious" religion. It apparently costs a lot of money to overcome religious bigotry and ignorance; religious bigotry that is based on lies and fear. Preachers spread lies about the LDS or Mormon Church because they are losing their congregations (and their pay check I might add) to 19 year old missionaries (who receive no pay check, but rather pay thousands to be able to serve and teach). These preachers are no better than those nearly two hundred years ago that killed, raped, burned, and drove out thousands of Mormons because of ignorance and fear. Wise up America! You are repeating the past because of your ignorance, hate, and fear. Too bad America, you could have been helped tremendously by Mitt Romney. You sow what you reap. I fear what will come because of poor choices.

Let's be thankful for the people who enjoy commentary on a more productive level. Our lives are a lot happier than the fireing squad group.
