Those of you who witnessed the crafting of my pine cone lobster might be interested to know how its presentation turned out. Well here it is: the moment Martha met my greatest craft yet.
What do you think? Is she impressed?
By the way, Martha is correct that the flower I presented in the potato vase is the African Violet, not the Purple Violet. (This was the one element I did not procure myself.) I tried to convince Martha that the Violet had immigrated to Trenton from Africa years ago and had since been naturalized. But to no avail...

As for Martha, she seemed to nit-pick every gift you gave her, even noting the lobster's short tail length. I am sorry to say it, but Martha really needs to stop being so meticulous to detail, especially when it comes to mere crafts.
That and she lived in Nutley, a now overpriced New Jersey town that is technically, a next door suburb to Manhattan. She never grew up in the mean streets of old Trenton like I did, where the purple violet grows freely in the city sidewalk sun.
I think I'll write a book to spite her..
An African Violet grows in Trenton. Hopefully there’s not another book out there with a similar title… or a reference to Brooklyn.

WOW, that turned out great! I had hoped we would see the end product...:). In particular, I wanted to see the "eyes". You worked well with her.
