While Senator Obama's pastor has been ripped to shreds in the media, John McCain's have gotten a complete free ride. Did you know that the man John McCain calls his "spiritual guide" thinks the purpose of America is to get into a giant war with all of Islam and destroy it? Other than being bigoted, that's also insane. And how much have you heard about that guy? Who can even name who he is?
Other pastors whose endorsements John McCain has proudly accepted have blamed the city of New Orleans for Hurricane Katrina and America's liberal policies for the attacks of 9/11. How is that any different than what Rev. Wright said? Find out the heinous comments McCain's pastors have said here:

Unfortunately, a lot of what drives our elections are not the most pressing issues of the day, like the Iraq War or the economy. It's what the press chooses to cover. And if they choose to beat Obama's pastor to a pulp and never cover McCain's pastors, do we really have a fair system that allows to choose between the different candidates with all the information we need? This is not a level playing field and it's hurting the country.

1. What else is new? John McCain has been getting a pass from the mainstream press for years. Rod Parlsey is no different than wacky Pat Robertson or the late Jerry Falwell. John Hagee (another nutty pastor) has called Catholics "the great whore." Both Parsley and Hagee are not just endorsing McCain, McCain has been friends with Parsley for years. Parlsey's web site is full of the usual garbage - everyone is evil except people who attend his freaky church.
Yeah, Rev. Wight has said idiotic things too - so if Obama does not get a pass for him, why does McCain get a pass for his associations?
When the Democrats finally get their nominee, hopefuilly they will begin to hold McCain accountable - no one else will.

2. I assume you saw the media jump head over heels when McCain recently mispoke about Al Qaeda being trained in Iran. The story quickly died because McCain immediately corrected himself.
Yet until now, Obama had been literally untouchable by almost all media. Even his most fervent supporters, as well as the same media mopes now admit this. Obama has had years to correct a huge mistake, but unlike McCain, he (very stupidly) thought he could hide it.
Your perceptions of double standards are so out of tune, I really think you are intentionally putting us on. But you're not funny. Your satire has no bite, no beat, unlike Saturday Night Live, for example. Why is your blog featured on my AOL news page (with the other four regulars)? Do all of you pay for exposure, a la advertising?
Whatever, you've all done a great job in getting daily visibility. After all, here I am with tons of stuff to do, and I find myself writing to you!! Good Grief!! It's just that this particular headline is so warped and beyond belief, and I still don't know if you're merely mediocre comics, mushroom trippers, or just plain ???? (no offense to mushrooms).

So weren't Falwell, Pat Robertson, John Hagee and Rod Parsley *also* saying that "white America" brought the 9-11 attacks upon ourselves?
And let's not forget that those same pinheads believe that these are the, "End Times." A bunch of people who think Jesus will come back any day now are influencing political policy.

5. There is no comparison between religous endorsements (which are political) and a 20 YEAR membership with an "uncle," a man who baptized Obama, married Obama, baptized Obama's children. Obama sat in this church through 20 YEARS of controversial, inclusive, separatist, racist, pro-Africa, anti-American SILME. Obama didn't flinch when the church awarded Nation of Islam minister Louis Farrakhan with a lifetime achievement award. Obama didn't care that his Pastor went with Farrakhan to visit marxist socialist Libyan leader Muammar al-Qaddafi during the time that all of Europe and the USA had a cold war going on with Libya because of their INSANE terrorism!! Obama didn't care. Obama titled his book after Pastor Wright's sermons about killing capitalism and the middle class--Audacity of Hope. Obama was a politician during 9/11, and he KNEW what Wright said.
