While Senator Obama's pastor has been ripped to shreds in the media, John McCain's have gotten a complete free ride. Did you know that the man John McCain calls his "spiritual guide" thinks the purpose of America is to get into a giant war with all of Islam and destroy it? Other than being bigoted, that's also insane. And how much have you heard about that guy? Who can even name who he is?
Other pastors whose endorsements John McCain has proudly accepted have blamed the city of New Orleans for Hurricane Katrina and America's liberal policies for the attacks of 9/11. How is that any different than what Rev. Wright said? Find out the heinous comments McCain's pastors have said here:
Get the full quotes of all the Republican nominee's pastors here. The double standard that the press has for pastors that support Democrats and Republicans is insane. It is so brazen that I can't quite believe they don't see it for themselves.
Unfortunately, a lot of what drives our elections are not the most pressing issues of the day, like the Iraq War or the economy. It's what the press chooses to cover. And if they choose to beat Obama's pastor to a pulp and never cover McCain's pastors, do we really have a fair system that allows to choose between the different candidates with all the information we need? This is not a level playing field and it's hurting the country.

Sounds like a teaser from Fux Noise. Probably for a segment from white supremacist Sean (Puffy) Hannity.

That's right, don. The Constitution was never meant to apply to black people! The First Amendment does not say that black people should have freedom of speech.
Break out the white sheets and the ropes.

Where is your source. Where is your quote.
You make a lot of hot air, but as usual, almost every thing you say is your own distorted viewpoint. Gave my source, you just do not have anything to prove what you say SFB

Thanks for telling all us "white folks" what we think.
Is that "typical" white folk or atypical white folk?
All 200 million of white folk in the U.S. think exactly the same.
We're holding a meeting his afternoon! Donuts and Coffee in the rec room!
Speaking of "sweeping": I think there's a word for making sweeping generalizations about an entire race.
You might want to look up "prejudice."
BTW, I like that there are SO many thoughtful, articulate, non-hyperbolic responses early on, and then Cenk's hit-bloggers weigh in an an attempt to paint everyone who doesn't agree with cenk and/or Obama and/or Wright as racist. All of you reading, go back to the earlier posts.
And as for freedom of speech, it should apply to everyone. Except maybe for that yelling fire thing. Or maybe yelling about white sheets that aren't there.
Racism is pretty serious, and by definition it's not exclusive to any one ethnicity or race.
If you keep crying wolf everytime you feel the urge to stifle dissent or discussion, or just to vent your spleen, it might cheapen the cause of egalitarianism for all.

53. it is obvious that obamas speech was too complicated and nuanced for the bogots on this board and in the democratic party. it looks as if they did not understand what was said by obama or do not care. just be as honest as obama was being and admit you were looking for a reason to diss miss him and then shut up.
you are not fooling any one with your parsing logic and vapid responses.in at the end of the day yuo are stuck in your whiteness and are ready to be re-exploited because polticians know you are basically stupid irratinal and racist.
as a black man when i vote for whites was i okay with you typical people but now that i vote for another black now that is wrong. you prople are so insulting. by the way rev wrights satements were correct and factually based. not one of you geniuses with a key board are challenging that because it might strain your brain. now that is typical. happy easter

54. The only thing is Reverand Wright did not utter one racist remark about White people. He mentioned how the Government has hurt Blacks and White women,he gave a firey history lesson that was very accurate and he made disparaging comments about 911 that were his personal feelings and not very different than the garbage spewed by Pat Robertson.
I could care less if any Republicans or Former Republicans like Obama and want to vote or not I expect low end remarks from them. But it disturbs me that Hillary supporters latch on to the Media "Race" circus and try and use it to support Hillary..supposedly a Democrat? You people ought to be ashamed and just go ahead and join the Republican party. It tells me alot about fellow Whites in America you really are fearful narrow minded people. when you go to church today and think of Jesus..think about how he tried to open peoples minds and how a close minded secular group of Religious leaders and politicians had him Crucified..and all to save you despite your ugly views. Vote Obama he is for real change.

55. Okane, I didn't quote anything. My posts had nothing to cite. I retract the statment I made the other day. You aren't the least bit intelligent.
You carry on, like a robot about, moveon.org, daily Kos, and Soros, but you are apparently ignorant of the Moonies and their incestuous relationship with the republican party.
So, Okane, were you being a rectal cyst when you voted for Obama? Or are you being a rectal cyst now?
Here are some quotes from republican financier and political wacko, Reverend Moon, of the infamous, "Moonies."
"The whole world is in my hand, and I will conquer and subjugate the world. I will go beyond the boundary of the U.S., opening up the toll gate, reaching out to the end of the world. I will go forward, piercing through everything ...
When we are in our battle against the whole nation of the U.S. -- if you are truly in love with this nation, and if you love this nation more than anyone else, this nation will come into God's possession, and Satan will have nothing to do with it. ... With that as the bullet, we can smash the whole world."
"Individualism is what God hates most, and Satan likes best."
"God likes the idea of a monarchy, because it removes the cycles of election after election which can obscure the focus and direction of the nation."

56. thank you john for your thoutfulness. i for one am tired of the racial exploitation that i have witnessed all my life. i would like to believe that it is possible to take real steps to move beyond it. we are all suffering. we all must think in terms of our interests and not just the little world we were born into and far too many of us refuse to outgrow.
at the end of martin luther kings life he tried to unite people across the spectrum to form a real coalition against corporate abuses.we have had 8 years of attacks on the middle class not including clinton and nafta. our housing market is in a shambles stocks are plummeting etc,we have to get a clue for ourselves and our collective children.

Cenk is apart of the far left media who hate their country and want to sell his sole to racist Muslims like Obama and his wife!
It's not working. Obama is finished!!!!!

Typical whiny crap! Any hint of criticizing the black community and the first card played is the "bigoted, racist, KKK" card.
Don't you know that you can't criticize ANY black person in America without burning a cross on their front yard?
And Obama's supporters are interested in genuine dialog about race relations in America how?

60. Paul, come Monday morning, I hope you'll use some bleach in your
laundry. Your sheet is kinda yellow and dingy.
Interesting that Obama's numbers have rebounded as more people see
Obama's speech than have watched Reverend Wright video clips. Obama
is back in the lead.
Get used to it. You racists are just whimpering amongst yourselves.
Maybe you aren't a closeted, wannabe, Klansman. Maybe you are a
closeted Moonie. Maybe you are one of those people who think that
earthquakes, hurricanes and tsunamis are caused by white tolerance
for gays and non-Christian fundies.
The only difference between Reverend Wright and the Christian
lunatics you support is COLOR.
Deny it if you can.
