He's a sometime judge on Iron Chef and was featured on Telemundo's Amore Descarado. Last year he starred on Broadway in the 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. 5. I always throw together some caramel corn for my movie nights. It's usually a hit.
You can use microwave popcorn, but homemade is best. One 1/2C of unpopped corn will yield about 4qrts of popped corn.
Put the 1/2C of corn and 3Tbsp of oil in a heavy bottomed pan, cover with a lid (slightly ajar, so steam can escape) and turn heat on to medium. Shake the pan occasionally to move around the corn, when the popping slows, remove the pan from the heat and set aside.
The caramel can be made in the microwave or the stove top. Heat one stick of butter, 1C brown sugar, 1/4C lite corn syrup and 1/2 tsp salt till boiling (stirring constantly), continue heating until it reaches the soft ball stage (this means that when you drop a little of the caramel into cold water it will harden into a soft ball, if it's still stringy and doesn't come together it needs more time) Once you've reached the soft ball stage take the caramel off of the heat and stir in 1/2 tsp baking soda.
Now place your popcorn in a large paper bag and pour the caramel over it, shake until evenly coated. If you don't have a bag you can mix it together in a large bowl, but the bag is neater and easier.
It's a pretty quick snack to make and if you don't feel like messing with the caramel, you can just pop some corn and then melt 1/2 a stick of butter with spices of your choice. Then pour over the popcorn and mix it till it's evenly coated.

8. Actually, I think boiled edamame is great for TV watching. And nachos. After you're done with the HOT DOG HUSSEIN CHEESIES, and before you put your sox and underwear back in the oven, pop in a cookie sheet (or jelly roll pan) in with tortilla chips piled with shredded cheese and jalapenos.
Oh, and beer in glass bottles to wash it all down.

My favorite snack is a big bag of raisinets....either eaten whole or........you could just suck off the chocolate and spit the raisins at each other!..
