61. Robert, you are a perfect example of the dumbing down of America. If you want to talk about Obama, you should first tell everyone why you voted for him.
And, one more time, Robert... If I want fries with my order, I'll tell you. Stop asking.

62. Republicans are "chickenhawks" Hmmm... This is akin to stating that all Democrats are afraid to be school teachers.
Anyone who thinks the military isn't manned by a Republican majority have either a closed mind, have not served one day in the US military in the last 30 years, or both.

63. Why can't you democrats admit that Clinton screwed up when we had Osama, and didn't know what to do with him, so we let him go. Your blaming Bush?
Half of all we are going through is because of
Bill Clinton. Read your history books, we lost
more soldiers in a single day during WW1 and WW2
then we have in Iraq. I am sorry for this lost, but
this is the cost of freedom. There is not enough
patriotism in this country. Too many people hate
America, and I for one would like to see them go
elsewhere.

64. i have alway thought that most white people are racist, but that has to do with the europeans and certainly not with the american of now, could be of years past. This could be wildly ascertained from the political view of the america elections in the democrats.I sincerely believe that the american people are truly not racial and i want to use this medium to also inform them that the clinton´s should give way for change.

Kathleen,
This war has nothing to do with our freedom.
More Patriotism? Must we agree with you to be good little patriots? No thanks, I think I know what think. It's ugly, very ugly, sad to.
How many losses are justified?

70. Cenk you dont seem to have a problem with us being in Kosovo, or Bosnia. And lets not forget to mention South Korea, Japan and Okinawa. Or Germany and Italy for that matter. If you are going to be fair, you need to be accurate. McCain unlike most in the Senate did serve in the military and in wartime. Governor Ventura did as well. He was right that the SecDef should atleast have some military service. That experince itself does not make a great head of DOD (Donald Rumfeld and Robert McNamara are the best examples of this. The case remains that America is going to continue to act as the World's Police Force. I dont like that idea but no one seems committed to changing that policy. So here are my questions to you Cenk: Name the war in which the US Military invaded another country which was oppressing its citizens. This nation had its own culture, language and foreign policy. The US was split over the war at the start, with demostrations across the country. Intrestingly as the war started out poorly, the reasons for the war and justifications for the war changed. To further add to the difficulties of this conflict, the war ended and there was a large occupational force left in a hostile but defeated nation.Problems continue in this defeated nation to this day. Cenk which US war am I speaking about? Oh yes, the US Civil war. The reasons for that war changed as often as the victories and tactics did. The Federal troops remained in the the South until 1877. There were continued questions about the need of the war, questions that continue to this day. I disagreed with the reasons behind this war, but we are engaged and I want our troops to be able to finish what has come to pass. I wonder if we would have surrended the day after hostilities began if some of the people in power today were in power in 1941 or 1861. As for questions about credibility, didnt Obama back John Kerry, who also backed the war? Did not John Kerry in I believe 2003 say that Bush's war was carried out almost flawlessly? I believe the comments were words to that effect. I have never been a fan of Dick Cheney or Rumsfeld, but it seems that the only people who could question their actions with intelligent questions rather than jazzy bumper sticker quotes includes Senator McCain. If Clinton and McCain are not to be trusted for backing this war, why is Obama forgiven for backing the a Senator who did the same thing? Rumsfeld and Cheney tried to fight on the cheap, and McCain disagreed with that from the outsite. Senator Carl Levin's questions with Gen. Shenshiki show that there was merit with it.

72. How can you compare the US Civil War with what has happened and is going on in Iraq. First the United States did not invade a foreign land. The south was composed of rouge states which try to secede from the union. The Confederate States of America was never a truly independent country. It tried to become a country but was not. This is why it is called a civil war not a revolutionary war. It takes more than just a declaration to become a country and the south did not have success in the accomplishment of the goals.
The northern soldiers of the union were in the south during the reconstruction period but it was not an occupation of a foreign land. So you are comparing an internal conflict with Iraq. Your logic is faulty and it is a horrible analogy you try to use.
