This year the leading Democratic candidate has been charged with being an "elitist." What surprise! That's what they're charged with every four years. George W. Bush went to Andover, Yale and Harvard, his dad was president and he had everything in his life handed to him on a silver platter and the media said his opponents were elitists and he was an average Joe. Why do they keep falling for this same crap every time? Are they this stupid or are they complicit?
We also discussed who is more elitists between the different campaigns here (warning: some strong language). I know it was Hillary Clinton who originally brought up this elitist charge this time, but then again it's hard to separate her from a Republican these days, as I explain in this video (also some strong language).

1. Could I run for President as a Republican if it were known that I published the following Bombastic Racist Rant?
["I ceased to advertise my mother's race when I began to suspect that by doing so I was ingratiating myself to BLACKS."
"It was my father's image, the WHITE MAN, Conqueror of Africa, that I'd package all the attributes I sought in myself, the attributes of Hitler, Attila, Mussolini and Caesar."
"To avoid being mistaken for a sellout, I chose my friends carefully. David Duke, the more politically active WHITE students, the EUROPEAN BLUE BLOOD students. The Vanderbilt's, Carnegie's and Astor's. The ANGLO-SAXON Professors, PATRIOTIC CONFEDERATE Feminists and SOUTHERN REBEL Poets."
"There were enough of us on campus to constitute a PHYLE, and when it came to hanging out, many of us chose to function like a CLAN, staying close together, traveling in packs."
"(I)t remained necessary to prove which side you were on, to show your loyalty to the PURE masses, to strike out and name names."
I wrote frankly about how to blame "BLACK people – the criminals, the ignorant, the faceless image of a Wealth Transfer System claiming power over our FINANCES."]

4. Cenk proves, as Obama did, that leftists in America look down their noses at the rest of us - Americans fall for the "GOP scam" because they are too stupid to embrace the loony left's agenda.
Face it, Cenk, the intelligence of Americans is the reason they have rejected the nutty ideology pushed by you, Obama and Hillary.

5. Cenk
Maybe you should tell the whole truth on your stories then maybe would would get a little more respect. Stop censorship of your stories. The story about Obama "Putting Controversy Aside, Obama was Right" is typical censorship by Cenk.
You omitted that his fund raiser audience were Rich Elite Democrat Contributors, that it was a Closed event, NO PRESS ALLOWED, and OFF THE RECORD.
Obama's has already said he chose his words wrong, duh, and you said Obama was right on. Huffington Post, hardly a stronghold of conservatism, blasted Obama on his Elitist remarks. You Cenk are trying to divert attention over the fact Obama's true face is starting to emerge into the view of everyone. Obama felt secure in San Francisco at the CLOSED fund raiser, so secure he let his hair down and let his true colors shine.
Obama is a lie. That is becoming apparent with each new revelation of how drastically his carefully crafted image this election year contrasts with what he has been saying and doing for many years.
Obama has tried to paint a picture that he can bring this country together and overcome the differences of party or race.
But there is not a spec of evidence that Obama has ever transcended party differences in the US Senate. Obama's voting record show him the farthest left of anyone in the Senate and he has never sponsored and significent bipartisan legislation.
Obama is all talk--exciting talk, confident talk, but still just talk with no action behind his words.
What Obama said is standard for him, this is standard stuff of the far left, where guns and religion are considered as signs of psychological dysfunction, where opinions different from those of the left are ascribed to emotions, rather than arguements that need to be answered.
Obama has shown USA what an Elitist he really is. He is far left almost radical in thought, and he has sought out and joined with the radical, anti-west left, whether J. Wright, William Ayers of the Terrorist Underground Weatherman or the pro Palestinian and anti-Israel Rashid Khalidi.
Cenk, you are championing a loser.

6. Cenk, cenk, cenk.... you just can't seem to get any smarter, huh? the entire political class is monied and elitist, anyone with a braind has that figured out. the difference is that the Dems pander and indulge in class-warfare rhetoric, and the Repubs don't. I'm unaffiliated, and like most americans i'm a social liberal and fiscal conservative. i don't want to be pandered to by someone promising me an empty hand-out. and I have to nearly vomit when I listen to garbage of the type you provide, simple-minded, ignorant and divisive. go away cenk, go away.....

8. The media is stupid AND complicit. They don't care about facts, they care about ratings and money. This has been proven many times over. It's a wonder anyone still watches the news anymore.
Strados at 7:22AM on Apr 16th 2008
9. Obama's actions are a tribute to our progress in race relations. Only in America can both Blacks and Whites grow up to be obnoxious elitists. Congratulations.
IRONBLUEEYES at 8:08AM on Apr 16th 2008
10. There have been so many lies purported around the internet (especially around here by certain people) that snopes.com actually has a little area dedicated to Barack Obama and all the false rumors associated with him. How sad is that?
Strados at 8:14AM on Apr 16th 2008
11. How it this a GOP scam? Obama went to billionaires row in San Francisco, and while not aware he was being taped, gave them a look at his real personality, which is most certainly elitist.
You can't blame the GOP for this one.
It was true with Bush and it may well be true in this election, but Cenk is really jumping the gun with this rant. Any accusations of elitism directed at Barack Obama can only be blamed on Barack Obama...because they are true.
Obama is an elitist, maybe a different type of elitist than we are used to, but an elitist nevertheless. He thinks he's better than most of us and we seem to agree with him.
Davidg at 8:23AM on Apr 16th 2008
12. What does it mean to be an elitist? That you were raised by a single mom, went to school on scholarship, took a job making $8000 a year out of law school instead of on Wall Street? Good grief how unbelieveably ridiculous is this claim!!! Senator Obama will make a great President but if the American people choose to believe anything the media throws at them then they deserve what they get....4 more years of politics as usual and nothing changes or gets done!
Lnstarmom at 9:22AM on Apr 16th 2008
13. Of course Clinton looks like the Republican candidate - the dems and "rinos" chose McCain by crossover voting in primaries early on... the best (and more true) Conservative Republican candidates were forced out before the end of January 2008.
Obama is elitist in that he has thrown his white heritage under the bus, he is anti-American, racist, and a socialist. He's ambiguous in the Change he plans on affecting ... but, based on what we have seen, it's going to be all of us paying more taxes, welcoming in illegals (wouldn't that make them tacitly legal?), and paying for their medical care (then again, we're already doing that).
He's attacked our Constitution (remember that document?) and our citizens - you know, the bitter superstitious white people who cling to their guns and their hokey religions while they wait for the government to come and save them? He's shown a lack of respect to the symbols of the country when he doesn't follow the protocol when listening to the National Anthem (but, I'd be willing to bet that you don't, either) ... Personally, I do doubt this man's patriotism, his ethics, his morality, his standards, and his goals.
I would happily vote for a woman or a black for the Office of President ... but not THIS woman or black ... And, if you're keeping count, the Republican side of the house is the party that first elected both a woman and a black to any office of import.

Check out post #1. Would I make a great President? Well those are not my words they are the words of Barack Obama. The names/races were changed to dupe the sycophants!!!!!!!
