President Bush was trying to explain what success in Iraq means to him, when as usual, he embarrassed himself (and the rest of us for electing him):
By the way, I should also note that there was no Al Qaeda in Iraq before we invaded and Iran's influence in Iraq has been greatly expanded since our invasion as well. So, we are now fighting a circular war in which we are battling the forces we helped to create by attacking Iraq in the first place. George W. Bush is the worst president ever.

Funny stuff, Cenk!

2. If you will recall, the American people elected Al Gore in 2000; five partisan Republican members of the Supreme Court "elected" George W. Bush. So, I'm not embarrassed!

You are an embarassment
Most of your stories are an embarassment with your
editing.
You push Rachael Maddow but forget to mention she
is a regular on loser Air American, out of
same mold as Randi Rhodes, who should be gone.
Rachael Maddow, even with her Oxford Degree,
screwed up a story on MSNBC on 4/5/08.
She picked up a story off a Blog, and even
her liberal education at Oxford, neglected
to check the story with another source, but
since it was political, she opened her big
mouth and put her big foot in. It seems a Rep
Congressman Patrick McHenry according to
Maddow called a US Soldier who was guarding
a gym in the green zone in Iraq, a "two bit
security guard". Maddow blasted the
Congressman for that and said McHenry will
be going home while the soldier stays and
fights McHenry's war in Iraq. See it all
on YouTube. If Maddow would have checked
story, she would have found out the soldier
was in fact a private security guard.
Maddow made a fool of herself since what
said was false, it was not a soldier and
if she had checked her story, she would
have gotten it right, that it was a
Security Guard.
Cenk-reminder, Bush is not running for office, Obama and Hillary are and they are making bigger fools of themselves everyday than Bush did. It would seem a better story on who is making a fool of themselves would be on Obama or Hillary or McCain, one of them will be President for at least the next 4 years.

5. You know I have one thing that is intensly satisfying!!! I DIDN'T vote for George Bush. I'm (unfortunately) part of the country who is living on or below the poverty level. My internet access is due to a wonderful family who does help when they can. I went from making $120K a year to $0 in one short day. I had two strokes which caused me not to be able to work. What an eye opener that was. I was always a liberal but maybe on the right a bit. Now, OMG it's been so eye opening that if I had the health I'd show people what happens to you in one quick blow!! Part of the problem is Social Security Disability takes 3 years to say no, then another year of you showing them how ridiculous their decision is/was. Then after I threatened to go to the media over it WHAM I'm approved. Go figure. But folks he's right. Becareful who you vote for. Remember if you voted for Bush and have problems due to his decisions, then you have yourself to thank.

6. Emelpe : You need a reality check. GWB won the 2000 election when, after the mandatory recount in Florida, he carried the state by 537 votes. It was the seven Democrats on the Florida Supreme Court that tried to steal the election for Al Gore by totally ignoring their oaths, the basic judicial premises, theConstitutions of both the United States and Florida and Florida election law. That is why, the first Supreme Court vote on the matter was 9 to 0 against Al Gore. At this point three Florida Justices (including the Chief Justice) jumped ship but the remaining four relied on a phrase from the preamble to the last revision of the election law in 1998 to order a statewide recount. SCOTUS ruled 7 to 2 against Al Gore - two Democratic Justices thought the Florida "fig leaf" was sufficent. Finally, in a 5 to 4 decision, the Florida Supremes were ordered (in layman's terms) to "cut it out already." End of Basic History 101.

7. because of republicans, and their destruction of my country. I personally will never vote republican again

8. Longwalker, allow me to move us on to History 102. Many media companies in Florida did independant investigations of the vote afterwards, and found that many illegal ballots were counted, and many legal ones were not. Gore actually should have won by about 1000 votes and, had every county in Florida actually had GOOD voting machines that allowed voters to CHECK for mistakes, Gore would have won by over 40,000 votes.
Here is a link, note that yes, it's a democratic website, but it links to all the media organizations who did the investigations.

9. You know I enjoy reading the posts until either the ultraconsertive rants start or even the liberal rants. We all know Bush took the election the first time. It wasn't a fair election no matter how anyone wants to spout rhetoric. He didn't win the popular vote. What the PEOPLE wanted. Not the electoral vote. Oh well tirade on..

10. Hey Big Guy,
Bush is "the worst president ever". I don't know about that. That title belongs to Jimmy Carter and Jimmy Carter alone.
AOL posted the funniest quotes of 2007 a few months ago and near the top of that list was Jimmy calling Bush the worst president ever.
Yeah, ole Jimmy. The USSR envades Afganistan and there's Jimmy sitting in the Oval Office with a tooth pick in his mouth telling us he had no idea the USSR was planning to do this.
Worst president ever?...that is Jimmy bossman. And no matter what he does will change his legacy.
Willet at 9:04AM on Apr 21st 2008
11. Sorry but I have to disagree. Jimmy was not a very good president. But I think when history tells it's story about Bush I don't think it'll be very nice. Can you say WMD's?????

12. I did not vote for George Bush either and I didn't for exactly the same reasons I won't vote for Barack Obama.
Something is just "not right" about either of them.

A Presidential Candidate who cannot carry his own State should not be pissing up the Supreme Courts leg. Gore did not carry Tennessee, his home state and that is pathetic.
Democrats ignored the Green Party, Nader, and the big campaigner, Michael Moore, who drew away votes from the Democrats and Gore for Nader. Nader got 970,000 votes the Democrats blew, and thanks in large part to Michael Moore.
Gore lost
1-did not carry his home state Tennessee
2-Nader took 970,000 votes away from Gore, votes Democrats should have had but blew. Florida lost by Gore, and not by the recount votes.
And Democrats seem to be on the way to blowing this election they should have in the bag.
Democrats should have won in 2000 by a wide margin, but blew that election. Democrats should have won by a WIDE MARGIN, but lost
Democrats should have won in 2004 with the Iraq War, but blew that election to.
Democrats then blamed everyone in the world but themselves. The Democrats blew two elections they should have won in landslides, not lost.

15. The mainly white Republican voters of the Florida Panhandle were disenfranchised when the Voter News Service and the Liberal Media lied to the public so they could call Florida for Gore while the polls were still open west of the Apalachicola River (aka: Republican Country).
