Hillary Clinton's main man in Pennsylvania is Governor Ed Rendell. He has campaigned for her tirelessly and she is very proud of his endorsement and support. Alas, unfortunately, she must immediately denounce and reject him!
Find out why here:
As I explained in the rest of the show, Gov. Rendell's speech at the Nation of Islam is totally fine by me. It does not in any way indicate he supports all of their positions. Louis Farrakhan has said some terrible things in the past and still holds on to some vile ideas. But he does preach self-reliance and some other positive messages as well. This game of playing gotcha with who can be more effectively connected to explosive people in American politics is beyond silly.
We don't live in a black and white world. People are complicated and you need some degree of nuance to know what to denounce and reject and what to listen to. As Gov. Rendell pointed out in this speech we get beyond some of our disagreements and misunderstandings when we talk to each other.
At this point, ironically, the person who has the most to learn by listening to Ed Rendell on that point is ... Hillary Clinton.

1. Can you please "rush" this to rush limbo? I'm sure he's going to "rush" to air this on his rusty show and "rush" a copy to hannitycap. Let's see him "rush" to judgement on this one.

2. I love it that Obama gets crucified for simply knowing people with shady pasts, yet the Clintons have shady pasts. The Rev. Wright stayed at the White House when Billy was in office--both Clintons conveniently have forgotten that fact, but many in US have not. And now Ed Rendell, my own governor, is connected to Farrakhan, yet nobody cares. All Clinton and the media seems to care about is that Obama once served on a board with a man who was a member of the weathermen when he (Obama) was a child.

3. Yeah, Cenk, Farrakhan isn't a bad guy, Hamas is just "misunderstood" and 9/11 was an inside job. Obama is associated with a number of criminals just as Hillary is, the worst thing George Soros can dig up about McCain is that he has a "bad temper."
Can't wait to watch Cenk whine after the Dems lose yet another POTUS election.
BTW, Cenk, Hitler was nice to his dog and made the trains run on time, is that another example of how "People are complicated and you need some degree of nuance to know what to denounce and reject and what to listen to?"

4. Hillary and her supporters obviously have more in the closet to rummage through than she says she has. She is never ending contradition to herself. To bad this story did not get more play before the vote in today, though I doubt seriously whether the Obama camp would have used it. Surely Clinton was aware of this association of Rendell yet she brings up Farrakhan during the debate on ABC, to question Obama's allegience and character. Guilt by association has been the rule she established so then she is guilty. She has got alot of "REJECTING" to do. It is the wrong word, but the one she chose a few debates back. This woman is dishonest. I would like to see gathered in one columm all of her mispeaks, contradictions to facts, and stupidities like the comment she made regarding Obama being a McCain cheer person, when she not long ago said herself that she and McCain had experience and Obama had a speech. It would take a book to fit it all in.

5. Hey Big Guy,
Say what you will about Ed Rendell, but he is a sitting governor. This alone gives him credibility over talking heads like Geraldine Ferraro, Al Gore, Jimmy Carter or Joe Scarborough.
Washed-out politicians like these four can open that hole under their nose with out fear of being sent to the unemployment line. Rendell doesn't have that luxury.
My 2 cents (I need to up that to a quarter someday due to the decline of the dollar).
Endoresements, by enlarge, are given in return for a future payoff.

7. You know this is all so stupid. Rendell should renounce today, Hillary should reject today in Publc, both of them. My son in law leaves my daughter and their 3 sons, the youngest 4 months old on May 4th for the Persian Gulf. He will not see his baby grow or enjoy the sports activities of the older boys, 11 years old. Rob changed political parties to vote for Barack Obama in the California Primary. He is a career Navy man, he does not care about Farrackhan, or Wright. My heart is breaking for Rob. He serves his country admirably and this is what he gets, arguments over stupid, idiotic, assinine things that Hillary Clinton loves to persue at no matter what the cost to her party or to the American people she says she cares so much about. She is a liar. She needs to call my son in law and apologize for her behavior during this campaign.

8. Mighty thin story. While Obama has attended first hand Farrakhan events, sat in the pews and provided financial support to Rev. J-Wright, courted the support of Bill Ayres and his wife (a pair of domestic terrorist) and allowed the New Black Panther Party to post links on his Presidential Campaign site; you want to shift the focus on Hillary for a proxy association?
Get to the meat of the issues and expose Obama!!!!!!!

9. Ed Rendell never said "God damn America" as did Obama's "spiritual mentor" of 20 some years the "Rev." Jeremiah Wright. You can't airbrush that away.

10. I wish the media would not pander to the two major political parties by ignoring Ron Paul. I don't know if I can find a good adjective to describe it, but it leaves a diarrhea taste in my mouth

13. Hello! Hillary is as bad as Obama and Obama is as bad as Hillary. I think people are starting to wake up and realize the situation here. George W. Bush is a very good man. He has real American values that don't include the liberal propaganda that CNN,CBS,NBC,MTV and ABC spew and brainwash the citizens of this great country. George Bush backs John McCain who is a proven leader. He obviously doesn't want to leave us in the hands of trash like the democratic front runners! Think outside the box people. Don't let the liberal media do your thinking for you!!!

14. ok, if hillary has to renounce this guy and become completely transparent in her campaign, so does EVERYONE else. i want the dirt on EVERY SINGLE PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE IN THE HISTORY OF THE UNITED STATES. ALL OF THEM. let's REALLY SHOW the american ppl who their leaders are.
are you done laughing yet? :p seriously, you guys. if EVERY SINGLE CANDIDATE made themselves COMPLETELY TRANSPARENT, NO ONE would run for president. heck, NO ONE would want to be a leader in ANYTHING b/c NO ONE lives their lives without a few snakes and skeltons in their closet.
YOU CANNOT PLEASE EVERYONE. pick the candidate for you, who has your CORE values and intrests at heart. all the rest is just fluff. take care of my BASICS please! :)

15. IF YOU REALLY FEEL WE NEED AN EXPERIENCED WOMAN IN THE WHITE HOUSE, HERE IS MY SUGGESTION:
>
> I deserve your vote to be president.
>
> I served eight years as the first lady - working on policy issues and being involved in the day to day working of the presidency.
>
> I served two terms as wife to a governor, also working on policy and promoting an agenda to help children and women.
>
> I have the experience to be your president!
>
> Vote for me.
>
> LAURA BUSH
