There are several overwhelming reasons why Hillary Clinton's argument's about the popular vote is absolute nonsense. She argues that she is winning the popular vote and that is what should matter in figuring out who the nominee will be. Neither one of these things is remotely true for the reasons we explain below:

3. Cenk,
50% of Hillary supporters won't support Obama, and most of them will vote for McCain.
69% of Obama supporters will support Hillary, meaning something less than 31% will support McCain.
If the Democrats want the base to turn out and vote Democrat, they need Hillary.
Remember that picking a nominee isn't about democray. It's about winning. Remember that Lincoln's name came out of nowhere at the GOP convention in 1860.

5. To all the clinton supporters; aren't yoy tired of beiong lied to by Hillary? Haven't you had enough yet? Damn. You will believe anything she tells you even after it has been proven to be a lie. Is the primary over? Yes and Hillary has lost in every concieveable catagory. So, the primary is over or does it depend on what the definition of is is?

6. What's really sad are the Clinton supporters who are actually buying into her nonsense. And this is the only reason why Pennsylvania was important, because it extends the nonsense another 2 weeks. It's mind boggling looking at comment #2 (steve) - Seriously, are you insane Steve? Obama has an insurmountable pledged delegate lead. He is the nominee. DEAL WITH IT!
Presidential Blog at 2:50PM on Apr 25th 2008
7. Steve In case you missed it. Final delegate tally in Texas. Obama 110 Clinton 105. Everyone knows that it is the delegates that determine the outcome. I thought all you dems knew that after Gore 2000. You continue to say she won. Nevada final delegate count Obama 15 Clinton 14. She lost Texas and she lost Nevada. Period. Throw out all the lies you want, but we are watching you.

8. It is a shame Hillary Clinton has resorted to such tactics. Even her husband - a man I voted for twice - is starting to lose his mind as well. This is unfortuntely the Clinton strategy. Win at all costs - no matter the damage it does to the Democratic party. She is behind in the delegate count and cannot catch up. However, that will not stop her. Clinton will try to drag this out to the convention in August - and then say hello to President McCain - because the party will be demoralized.
Ralph Nader said it best, if the Democrats cannot take the White House after 8 years of Bush, they need to hang it up as a national party.

9. Hillary supporters = Hall-Bopp Comet believers.
You guys are about as bright as those who put on purple Nike's and poisoned themselves to get on the passing comet.
It would be nice, if for just a few seconds, those of you who support this witch would just stick your head into reality for a few moment. She is trying everything she can to steal this nomination from Obama.
Hey, weren't you the same people all upset in 2000 claiming (errantly) that Bush stole an election? Hmm, I guess it isn't whether something is right or wrong... just whose team you are on.
Thankfully, because of the Party's own divisiveness, neither Obama or Hillary will be the next President. A true American and a true hero will be, so I guess we finally have something to thank the Democratic Party for.

10. Why not just divide up the Michigan and Florida votes and delegates between Obama and Clinton 50/50. That would allow both of the state delegations to be seated. Sounds fair to me!

11. Has anyone noticed the changes in the HRC&co team's begging for money. Previously the team "posters" were asking you to logon and donate say $10 ,either on-line or by mail (this because their collections were more securer then Obama's method.)There was one poster who was hitting the sites multiple time daily, begging for money. recently, when you look at the Political Machine website you are treated to a continuous ad shilling for money from HRC&co. In the beginning this "ad/plea/begging" was for a Fifty($50) donation. Now it's dropped to five($5). Could there be a problem with people donating? I know, I know she took in a gazillion $$$ in just 24 after Penn. primary, according to their claims. But then again they have "won" the majority of the contests and the majority of the delegates, the popular vote. Wait until some of their "suppliers" start going to the press about "non-payment for services provided"

12. Can't we all just get along?
While I am glad to see the emotion evoked by this election, I must say I am disapointed as well. I am a Clinton supporter, always have been. Now having said that, "Come on democrats". What are you thinking? At this point can we really afford another four years of the craziness that is the republican party? I feel Clinton is a better choice based on Obama's lack of experience. They have both fought a negative campaign that is leaving the democratic party in a state of emergency. They need to stop tearing eachother apart and giving McCain ammunition. The bottom line is either one of them is in fact better than the alternative. On the other hand, I don't know why everyone is so suprised by a negative campaign. Aren't they all? Don't we complain about the mud-slinging every four years? Has it ever stopped? They (candidates) have been slinging mud since the inception of media, and I'm sure before that they gossiped about eachother.

13. People are nuts. Out of the 3? Hillary, all the way. We don't need George Bush again, and we don't need that phoney, arrogant jerk Obama. This guy isn't the slightest bit qualified for the job, and this country is in to much trouble to put a novice in the white house. I can't believe the number of idiots that follow him. He unites people alright. Much like Jim jones did. People will buy anything I swear...

14. "They have both fought a negative campaign that is leaving the democratic party in a state of emergency."
Excuse me, how did you come up with "both".
As far as the other comments, it sounds a lot like the "situational ethnics" that have long been a trademark of one candidate.

15. Hillary will win, no matter what it takes. She would throw Chelsea or Bill into the flames to win.
