Not only did Ronald Reagan take his race against Gerald Ford all the way to the convention in 1976, but Ted Kennedy took his race against Jimmy Carter all the way to the convention in 1980.

No, more so than those of Jerry Falwell and Pat Robertson and the Idiot, that called the Catholic Church “the great whore”. I wonder if any of these other Pastors and or Preachers ever served in the Marines for six years? I also wonder why most of us did not get our nerves frazzled and our shorts all tight up in knots when these Yahoos also uttered these despicable words?

Why is it that all these intellectual and thought provoking bloggers do not take a step back look at our economy and the price of oil and the war and all those other little things that are drowning our country, destroying it a little bit at a time. Use all of the issues we are all facing together and discuss that instead of the idiotic rhetoric we bog ourselves down with and never accomplish a single thing.

As I see the situation it appears very simple to me, we can vote for the old man and in the end get exactly what we deserve for our very own ignorance and stupidity.
