There are several overwhelming reasons why Hillary Clinton's argument's about the popular vote is absolute nonsense. She argues that she is winning the popular vote and that is what should matter in figuring out who the nominee will be. Neither one of these things is remotely true for the reasons we explain below:

I would say leave it to the Democrats to come up with “a once in a life time type of candidate” only they managed to come up with two “once in a life time type of candidate at the same time”. Furthermore, I would argue that it is the dumb ass citizens, who will end up screwing things up. No doubt, about it, once again they are allowing being lead by their collective nose’s down a path of distraction and destruction.
It has taken less than one decade to take the richest, strongest and most respected nation in the world and turned it into a third world country that still gets to keep some of their most valued toys, such as BMW’s and Wii’s . We have allowed a small group of devious, power hungry; thugs trick us into believing that they and they alone can save us from the boogieman. They dragged us into an unnecessary war, ran our national debt to astronomical amounts of money. Everything they have touched they have destroyed. But, what the hell we still get to have our family values and we still get to believe that the guy who got appointed to the White House is cutting taxes for the regular Joe’s and Jane’s who go to church to pray. Poor saps, what will it take to wake this country up before people realize what has been happening in this country formerly known as the United States of America.
Is there anyone amongst some bloggers that can explain why it is that Mr. Rush Limbaugh continues to be on the air and has not been arrested for encouraging violence and mayhem during the upcoming Democratic National Convention in Denver this August? For that matter is there anyone that knows which branch of the United States Military Mr. Rush Limbaugh, Dick Cheney and that other fat white boy that seems to be an amour of George W. Bush served. Were they Marines or were they in the Army, Navy which of these branches did they serve?
If this were not enough for the intellect of our citizens now they are going to continue to be divided and believe that one women is had over twenty people killed and God only knows what else. They will continue to believe that one man is a Muslim (so what if he was) which he is not, because we would rather buy into this load of crap than to actually do our own home work and our own research and find out the real facts.
Before, I forget #72, even if John Edwards could have made it this far, the citizens are so out of touch with reality they would have bought anything these Rove like Thugs would have sold them.
I feel so trapped in an inferno of imbeciles and zombies. I want to wake up and find myself back in the USA. I wonder if I will ever really see the USA again, the way it once was.

78. David S, you are 100% correct. Hillary should have ceded at least a month ago. Obama clearly has the democratic nomination. The Clinton strategy - "Win at all costs" - has ruined the presidential election. Unfortunately, McCain will probably win this all now. I wasn't looking forward to seeing at least another four years of having our troops on the other side of the world, and jees...having another Republican in there to make this country look more foolish.

79. Atrapada: Right on! But don't think badly of ol' Rush. He couldn't serve in Viet Nam because he had a hairy, pus-filled pimple on his butt & it was painful.
Our Vice-Dick worked hard to get his 5 deferments.

Poll shows Clinton has better shot of beating McCain
Posted: 02:25 PM ET
(CNN) – A new poll out Monday appears to bolster Hillary Clinton's argument that she is in a better position than rival Barack Obama to beat John McCain in a general election match up.
According to a newly-released poll from The Associated Press and Ipsos, Clinton would beat Cain by a wide 9-point margin, 50 percent to 41 percent. But when Obama faces McCain, the two are statistically tied — Obama holds a two point edge over McCain, within the poll's margin of error.
The Clinton campaign has long argued the New York senator has a better shot at beating McCain because of her demonstrated appeal with working class white voters — a demographic that is key to winning several swing states.

81. This is an opportunity, for Mr. Obama needs an Act II. Act II is hard. Act II is where the promise of Act I is deepened, the plot thickens, and all is teed up for resolution and meaning. Mr. Obama's Act I was: I'm Obama. He enters the scene. Act III will be the convention and acceptance speech. After that a whole new drama begins. But for now he needs Act II. He should make his subject America. By the way, the National Press Club speech by Rev Jeremy Wright was arranged by a Hillary Clinton supporter. Does this surprise you?

Karl Rove did as well. He also claimed that he was still enrolled in college, when he wasn't.

85. Well deal with this if Obama is nominated by the party then I and a lot of other Clinton supporters will write in a vote for Hillary. Obama will not be president. The DNC and super delegates need to take heed. End of story.

It has become increasingly difficult to believe that people like you are actually Hillary supporters; your rhetoric sounds more like those of the small-minded dumb donkeys from the far right than anything else. If in fact you are a Democrat and you are supporting Senator Hillary, great, support her because you believe that she is the better candidate. Why do we first find out, why we should vote for her and not why not vote for Obama? Where does she “TRULY” and honestly stand on the issues that are facing this country at this time of economic turmoil, loss of jobs, war, etc? At this time, you sound worst than those dumb donkeys from the right. What you are in essences saying is that you would rather have McCain become president than Barck Obama.
If you are a Democrat, has it occur to you why the right is going after Obama so hard and all of the sudden they “Like Hillary”? Could you possibly be as dense as you sound on your post?
Yes, trapped in an inferno of A-holes and it keeps looking worse and worse!

87. I am an African-American woman and an Independent who registered as a Democrat to vote for Senator Obama. If Senator Clinton wins the primary, I will do one of the following on election day: 1) stay home; 2) vote for Nader. There is NO WAY I am casting a vote for Senator Clinton. She is way too divisive and dishonest.
As a woman and a Kansan, I am looking forward to the Governor Kathleen Sebelious presidential campaign. It is she and NOT Senator Clinton who should be the first female president.

88. Another problem with counting Florida that I've not heard talked about is that there were thousands of us who didn't bother going to vote because it wasn't going to count. Those Democrats who did vote in the Florida primary may have only done so because local issues on the ballot drew them to the precincts, not rearranging their days to go vote in a pointless election. There were many areas with no local issues other than the primary election.
