Drudge is reporting that Hillary is scheduled to appear on The O'Reilly Factor tomorrow. Egad, why would she want to go and do a thing like that? After all the horrible things he's said about her, doesn't her going on the show amount to a huge display of masochism?

1. doesn't her going on the show amount to a huge display of masochism?

One could look to her history with Bill and ask the same question.

2. I think it's a smart move. She has new momentum and Obama is looking weaker by the day. I expect she'll get fair treatment, if not just for having the guts to show up. And don't forget, it's a huge audience...

3. This is an opportunity, for Mr. Obama needs an Act II. Act II is hard. Act II is where the promise of Act I is deepened, the plot thickens, and all is teed up for resolution and meaning. Mr. Obama's Act I was: I'm Obama. He enters the scene. Act III will be the convention and acceptance speech. After that a whole new drama begins. But for now he needs Act II. He should make his subject America. By the way, the National Press Club speech by Rev Jeremy Wright was arranged by a Hillary Clinton supporter. Does this surprise you?

4. Bill O'Reilly is a flap-jawed idiot. All he does is yell and scream to get his hoard of followers whipped into a frenzy. I have total confidence in Hillary. I hope she'll mop the floor with him - put him in his place - but she'll probably just kill him with kindness. I have GOT to Tivo this.

5. O'Reilly will treat Hillary fair? Yeah, I am sure - but being fair here, he treats no one fairly - he pretty much hates everyone.

6. Ada,
I can hardly wait for this interview. I don't think Bill O'Reilly is going to throw her any softballs, but by the same token I don't think he is going to throw her any beanballs either.
But I expect one thing from Papa Bear....he'd better toss a few "brush back" pitches at her...keep this wanna bee on her heels!

7. It seems to me that Hillary is making a smart move as I still believe Al Gore would be president if he had gone on the O'Reilley Factor way back when.

8. Hillary and O'Reilly are from the same ilk. He will be fawning all over her and she him. People, Karl Rove is behind Hillary and McCain. The Wright tapes were released in joint effort by Hillary and Mccain. Pay attention to how Hillary compliments McCain and tells us they are dear friends, yet she try to smear Obama's character. Does it make sense to you idiots that she would give more praise to her opponent of another party, versus the opponent of her own party. If McCain wilns, he has a place for Hillary on his team, if not a joint ticket..yes its possible he will make her his Veep. They both want to win..why? So McCain at 71 can finally, finally be president after getting stomped on for 8 years by Bush, and Hillary because she wants to be the first woman to be President. It is a clever ruse and people are falling for it. McCain or Hillary..more of the same..continued Bush policies.

You are exactly right!! This is a great move on her part. Very large audience and it will keep Obama wandering for a few more days without any good media attention.
K -- To you I say thank you for being a standard bearer for the democrats.
David S --- You obviously have no idea what you are talking about. Haters are all around, but O'Rielly is not one of them.
Celia --- You are just more of the same sick mentality that is destroying this country. Conspiracy morons unite.

11. This is going to be great for Hill. If she slaps him down she'll look good and if he slaps her down she'll have the sympathy factor working for her.
And liberals get apoplectic about O'Reilly, but any half-crazed, Bush-bashing snit that Keith Olberman descends into is just ducky with them. I'd love to see these guys debate. That would be entertaining.

12. I don't see why people are so inclined to love or hate Bill O'Reilly. I have right-leaning friends who absolutely love him, and left-leaning friends who think he's the absolute spawn of Satan.
In reality, he's just an aging Irish-American baby-boomer from New York who has a lot of interesting opinions, some of them wacky and others more reasonable.
Why we care so much about him is beyond me.
I guess I applaud Hillary for appearing on his show, not because I am enamored with Mr. O'Reilly... but because I think that Dems should start realizing that Fox is the most-watched cable news network and that by making regular appearances on the network they will show the Fox-watching demographic that they are not the anti-patriotic hatemongers that Fox can paint them as.

13. She is going on Bill's show because it is the top rated nightly cable news show for the last seven years. "Had to say that to upset the libs" haha poor CNN and MSNBC just cant compete. He out numbers both stations combined by far every night with his viewers.. I know his millions of viewers are just idiots, and so all are of those that watch that horrible FOX news station right????

14. OH hell I like them both
