Hilary Clinton has lost!!!!!! It's over!
It's been over for a long time now, but Senator Clinton has managed to hoodwink the media into playing the expectations game -- where people's expectations are more relevant that the reality of who is winning more states and delegates. But reality has a way of catching up with you.
I looked at the number of delegates Clinton and Obama had before the Ohio and Texas contest on March 4th and how many they have now. What do you think the result was? The media has been talking non-stop about Hillary's momentum and how Obama has been stumbling. So, that must mean she has really closed his lead, right?
Well, the reality is that Senator Clinton has lost 53 delegates since then to Barack Obama. He has widened his delegate lead to 155 delegates. She has absolutely no chance of winning this race. None.
How much clearer does this have to be before we call it what it is? She has no momentum. She does not have enough pledged delegates or superdelegates. She will not win the delegate race or the popular vote. She can't go on much longer like this. She will have to face reality very, very soon.
The only question that remains is whether she will be pushed out the door by the rest of the Democratic Party or whether she leaves voluntarily. Stay tuned for how that turns out.

47. "and you wonder why condelessa rice states that america has a BIG problem with race-still, and here we are in 2008, still hearing all this hate filled stuff about race, color and religion..."
I'll take the risk of being labeled a racist and get to the point here.
The last thing the Democrats wanted was for Obama to lose the nomination. Not only would they seriously risk an unruly convention, but they could pretty much kiss the black vote goodbye. Fortunately, everything worked out just fine for them. Obama held his own (just barely), Hillary and Bill did just enough of the wrong things to irritate just enough of the Democratic base.
On the other side of the fence, the Republicans were seriously hoping for Hillary or ANYBODY but Obama. Is it because Obama is such a formidable, unimpeachable candidate? Hardly. He's good but so is Hillary. So was Richardson. So were several others I'm probably forgetting. But Obama is black, and in this country, in this day and age you cannot criticize a black person for anything without someone, somewhere crying racism. Particularly if you're a Republican.
Are there racists among us? Sure. Is everyone who finds fault with a black person a racist? According to some, yes.
You're right Dottie, it is a shame. Win or lose, there are going to be charges of racism - legitimate or not.
From a pure political standpoint, the Dem's dodged a bullet. And now that bullet is headed straight at the GOP.

I could read until the cows come home and it would not change that fact that you tried to intertwined Senator Barack Obama with “anything Anti-American, Anti-Christian”.
I read your remarks I also read your between the lines “rhetoric” to know perfectly well what it is your were implying about Senator Obama.
Furthermore, do you really want to discuss learning English or anything else for that matter, after the things you wrote on your post? Blondie, hmm… it figures.
Atrapada en infierno de boludos at 7:24PM on May 7th 2008
49. Oh my dear , I was not expecting you to read between the lines..I wrote exactly what I meant.
I don't trust Obama...I believe he is a fraud and a liar.

The "consensus" is in. Obama is a faking his Christianity just to get elected.
http://news.aol.com/political-machine/2008/04/14/hot-seat-is-obama-a-fake-christian/
Since "consensus" is the gospel that provides the proof of man made global warming consensus must also be religiously adhered to in this instance by demanding that Barack Obama drop out immediately.

51. I agree with Dick Armey...I will believe that Obama has won the nomination when he has the requisite delegates from all sources...I live in a state that has not yet had a chance to vote...I would like to have a say in this very very very close race...I volunteer for Hillary Clinton, have met her, and find her an awesome woman, brilliant intellect, and powerful leader...She will lead the country back to a path which works for all of us...I think what the Obama camp and its supporters want is a return to the liberalism of old...They don't 'get it' the way Bill Clinton and Hillary 'get it'....The country has moved to the right..Before all his liberal supporters can have what they want they must first be elected and Obama running in a general election will be a very weak candidate..He has zero resume and zero accomplishments..His most frequent habit is running for office and often, as in this case, prematurely...let him prove his worth...He reminds me of a charismatic sociopath frankly...I don't feel his concern for anyone except himself...I really loathe the thought of his wife as First Lady with her racist attitudes and negative view of her nation...How on earth is she going to be an ambassador for this country???...Hillary has recaptured some of the suburban moderates, Catholics, elderly voters, and people with less than a college education...We need these people for a Democratic victory in the fall..There's a strong chance they will vote for John McCain and the Democratic party will continue to destroy itself with its outmoded and unwelcome approach to the country's governance...Frankly, altho I know from her speeches that Hillary wants her supporters to back a Democratic candidate no matter what, that it will be very very difficult for me to do that...In my activities in her campaign, I've encountered enthusiastic happy people who strongly believe in her...It's been fun...Whereas the people I have encountered in the Obama camp are condescending, arrogant, rude, insulting, and abusive...I can tell you many stories about young black women being threatened by black males if they say they are for Hillary...We've seen Obama's one finger salute in his North Carolina rally...And many of them seem to be very angry people...This is not the tone I want in the next administration...I think Obama himself is a blank slate upon which many ambitious Dem party people are busy writing their own agendas...They can't all fit on his coattails and they are going to expect a lot from him...He's shown enormously poor judgment in the people he allows to be around him and that troubles me greatly..I think if he is elected that he will be a very weak one-term President and will probably contribute to losing Dem control of the Congress...There is enormous sexism and racism working against Hillary that I see in my grass roots involvement...And it makes an ugly scene...A friend of mine is running his campaign in my city and she has called me a bigot for criticizing him..One thing I am not is a racist...Other non-Obama supporters routinely report the same insults being hurled at them as well...I can forgive but I won't forget...Just this afternoon during a 'honk and holler' there were middle finger salutes, vulgar denigrating slurs shouted, and thumbs down gestures, but mostly there were happy supportive responses...Still, the Obama rudeness speaks out...These are not the people I want running my country...I think the reason he is ahead is money...With all the expectations that his supporters bring his way and their deep pockets come the realization that his 150 delegate lead has been bought....Outspending his opponent 3,4, 5 to 1 in so many primaries has bought him his lead...I don't feel it's legitimate at all..He has shown a willingness to take every shortcut to get to the Presidency...Hillary has achieved a lot in managing to get the Florida and Michigan voters seated at the convention...Don't buy into the pressure being brought to bear...None of this is anything other than media bias and nonsense designed to drive her out of the race...Why, I ask you, can he NOT close this deal with all his vast resources? ...I'll tell you...Because half the party knows that he wants more than anything just to be President...After that I think he's as 'for sale' as he has been all along...And that scares me...But he seems to have besotted a lot of navel-gazing liberal pol's....almost all of whom have LOST to a Clinton or a Republican...Hillary will make us a party of winners again...

53. Boludus - Once again, you seem to be lecturing people and calling them stupid. Yet, you manage to commit an inordinate number of spelling and grammatical errors in your last 2 or 3 posts. Try and pay a little more attention to what you're doing if you're going to criticize others.

55. Blondie,
I am not knocking down Christians. Just you! If you do not trust the Senator that is your business, saying idiotic things about him that by the way are lies is wrong!
You would not know the truth if it bit you in the nose.
As for "Black Theology", all I can say to you is that a little knoweldge sometimes is dangerous. The original roots of "Black Theology" came from Africa. Well, we all know what else came here from Africa. Therefore, if some citizens subscribe to this theology, can you blame them?

Paul,
Can you tell me what party those members of the Democratic Party switched to?
Hint: The Republican Party
Ignorant jerk. You haven't said one truthful thing about Obama. Look if you have a problem with his name and the color of his skin, just say so. I'll have more respect for you.
But there is nothing you can do, he will be the next President like it or not. The only thing that can get in the way, is for some idiot racist such as yourself killing him.

You are correct back then it "was" called the Democratic Republican party, presently known as the GOP. Any other stupid questions?

60. I think who ever reaches the necessary deligate count of 2025 is the winner. Oh wait...democrats made sure that won't happen. Is this how they plan on running this country into the ground? Old turn bias strikes again. u may want to wipe the obama jism from your cheek. i saw u cheering when obama wiped his nose.
