Iron Man vs. Made of Honor: Seems more lopsided than Obama vs. Clinton. What would it take for you (all of you, not just superdelegates) to choose Made of Honor at the multiplex?

1. If someone else paid for my ticket, my movie nachos, and my Icee, I'd be fine seeing Made of Honor and relinquishing rights to see Iron Man. There's an Iron Man 2 on the drawing board, so I'll just wait for that.
This deal would not work for The Dark Knight 'cause I loves me some Batman.

2. Dear Mo,
I STILL want to be reimbursed for seeing "Patch Adams".......possibly my own private island...Jeeves, etc.,.....

3. This is a tough one. Patrick or Robert? Robert has those lovely, dark features that y'all know I love so much. Yet Patrick is Dr. McDreamy.
I would sacrifice never, ever seeing Iron Man only if there were a guarantee that Dems could get the White House back in November.
Although Clinton is obviously the stronger contender to beat McCain, unfortunately people are "in love" as Ms. Cokie Roberts pointed out on This Week with George Stephanopoulos.
Seeing through rose colored glasses is not helping our party get the White House back. I'll vote for Obama in November because I'm a true Democrat (Roccacrat) and loyal to my party.
But I'm also stocking up on goods from BJ's, saving what I can, and not making any frivolous purchases. The recession is already here (Thanks, Dubya!) and the next four years scare the hell out of me.

4. Aw Mo,
Some of us just go to the movies for the Snow Caps (Nonpareils), Goobers and Cherry Coke (the artificially flavored, carbonated refreshment artist formally known as Dr. Pepper.)
I guess the answer is: It depends who you go with.

5. Less than zero really just ruined RDJr for me, and I think it screwed him up pretty good too. I choose neither, I'll just drop you off and pick you up when its over!

6. When you make movies...
... you choose to aim at the male demographic, or the female demographic.
Very difficult to hit both audiences at once.
"Titanic" was a movie aimed at the teenage female audience, and it earned 1.6 billion.
"Iron Man" has a built in audience, and opening weekend was based (in part) on fans who had read the comic for decades.
"Made of Honor" had a lower budget and no previous name recognition.
But, as "Titanic" proved, if you make a "chick flick" with a $200 million budget, the potential return is greater than a movie aimed at men.

7. Aw Mo,
And as a corollary to my previous heretical stance
that it's not always about the movie...
Please use your influence over America to bring back the Drive In. I know, I know, that is not a very "green" proposition these days, but, gosh do I miss being a wee-lad going to see those simply horrible movies with speakers that crackled and stale fast food just for the atmosphere.
Sorry for the tangential approach.

8. Either movie is OK with me, as long as the Ring Ding and Dorito eaters keep quiet (you too, nomophobes!)...

12. JG,
Here in Seattle, of all places, we still have a 3-screen drive-in theater! I saw Snakes on a Plane there with a "boom box" sitting on the edge of my sun roof because my car antenna is bent and unusable. Some of the nastiest public restrooms I've ever been in. Good times, good times.

13.
My dearest Mo,
You would have to hold my family hostage to get me to see Made of Honor.
I loathe, hate, abhor, condemn and thesaurus chick flicks!
Who are these "chicks" and why are they so vapid? If they are under 15 they have an excuse-otherwise they shame me.
I had to see Sleepless in Seattle only because several friends were involved-I was told it was a love story, hearing a voice on the radio and dropping everything to meet this person sure sounds like stalking to me!
