Since 1964 Benihana has defined "Eatertainment." There are 80 restaurants world-wide. (Strangely there are more Benihanas in Venezuela than in Canada! And only one in Japan. Romania also has one.)
Clay Aiken is a longtime devotee of Benihana's. We spoke a lot about the Claymate phenomenon, which extends to Japan, where fans naturally are called Claysians. (Fans in Kuala Lumpur are Maclaysians, which sounds a little fast food-y.)

All Clay fans are not middle aged women,menopausal women! And I am surprised that Clay did not stick up for his fans in this interview and correct that misconception, because he is well aware of the varied demographics of his fan base.
Clay has fans of all ages! Why must you and all the media paint the fans of Clay with the same brush!
It is an insult and inaccurate!
I have bought his new album and it is fantastic! I am really sorry in this interview Clay chose to respond in the way he did to this topic.
