Since 1964 Benihana has defined "Eatertainment." There are 80 restaurants world-wide. (Strangely there are more Benihanas in Venezuela than in Canada! And only one in Japan. Romania also has one.)
Clay Aiken is a longtime devotee of Benihana's. We spoke a lot about the Claymate phenomenon, which extends to Japan, where fans naturally are called Claysians. (Fans in Kuala Lumpur are Maclaysians, which sounds a little fast food-y.)

And yeah, I don't consider myself a Claymate AT ALL but I am a Clay Aiken fan, very nomadic and I wouldn't be surprised if my cycle matches my Clay friends :)
I am very much loving the new album. Very eclectic. I'm finding it impossible to choose a favorite song. If I had to though I'd pick Lover All Alone since Clay wrote the lyrics. I hope he tries his hand at more songwriting in the future.
Congrats on the great album Clay. And Mo...interview him again sometime!

70. I haven't laughed this hard since Spamalot!!! Mo, what a terrific interview!!! Clay is always witty and articulate, but I don't know that I've ever seen him so relaxed and having such fun in an interview. Thank you so much for sharing it with us!!! I will echo the plea to release more of this priceless footage!!
And if anyone hasn't yet, pick up your (multiple) copies of OMWH today! It is a beautiful, eclectic mix of music and of course, that voice is pure magic.
