Marche Taylor was convinced her custom-made dress would not only turn heads, but also serve as a big hit at her senior prom. However, school officials were not amused when she showed up to the dance wearing a little more than a swimsuit with heels. After Taylor was confronted and asked to leave due to her scandalous dress code violation, she reluctantly did so...wearing handcuffs. Should she have been kicked out of prom? Watch the video and tell us what you think.

1. Damn, I have to agree with Cenk this time. The dress was inappropriate according to the school, which never does idiot things under the power we have given them to ensure that children learn that the government makes, breaks and enforces arbitrary, capricious views on things anyone with common sense would just solve on their own iniative. Where I agree is they should have returned her money....no prom,no money. That's stealing without doubt. You're gonna have to drop the puff pieces Cenk, this reliance on filler isn't making it.

4. Hey this is not a dress for highschool. No underware on either. Whay was her mother thinking??? Put some clothing on your kids. I see them dressed like this all over the place. Short sort so tight it is awful. There is no modesty. She would not have gotten arrested had she left without arguing and if they had given her the money back. Maybe if she had gone home and changed she wouldn't had gotten arrested at all. It was a rpom not a hooker party.

5. Oh my God. That is really entertaining to me, seeing as in my high school many girls wear things like that to classes and no one says anything. And that is WITH a new, tougher admin. She looks like a ho, but does that really give a school license to kick her out, steal at least 40 bucks from her for the tickets, AND arrest her? No. The school was obviously full of prudes, seeing as I'd bet good money that more than half the people at that prom weren't sexually innocent themselves, and the other half were planning on loosing it in a Motel 6 after the dance was over. I live in socal and I go to one of the better high schools in my area, and here no one gives a shit.

6. Hey, it was a school function! Not an out on the
street stroll. There's a difference.

7. Are we sure TYT are telling the whole story or just being selective in their editing of it. I mean, it's not about Barack Obama, so they may not be outright lying.
Could it be, just maybe, if you listen between the lines, that the girl was arrested for making a scene when she did not get her money back?

8. Wow! I'd like to hear the cops explain why they had to handcuff a high school girl for having poor fashion sense. Did she resist? There must be more to the story. Unfortunately, Young Turks didn't provide enough information.
Did the school have a clearly stated dress code for the prom? Again, we don't know.

9. Captain Negative : Do you really expect the Young Turks to commit journalism in public. Providing facts requires work while opinions come easy.

10. I'm sure GW Bush and Dick Cheney had to be responsible somehow for this poor girl being arrested. I'll bet Howard Dean will find an incriminating memo somewhere.

11. Typical of a loony leftist like Cenk to condone this degenerate behaviour while his leftist ilk in the drive-by media attempt to destroy Miley Cyrus, not because of the pictures in Vanity Fair but because of her declaration of love for Jesus Christ.

12. Captain Negative : I forgot to comment on your statement about the handcuffs. Blame it on "political correctness" gone wild. Once, a police officer could exercise discretion about whether or not to handcuff an individual. However, that resulted in a disproportunate number of young Afro-American men being handcuffed, so the policy became handcuff everyone - no exceptions.

13. I'm guessing there was a physics teacher on site who took one look at that dress, took into account that the young lady probably wasn't going to be standing motionless all evening and made the call.
Handcuffing does seem like a bit much (again, assuming she didn't make a scene and couldn't be controlled any other way) but for god's sake what set of parents in their right mind lets their daughter out of the house in an outfit like that, regardless of where she's going?

14. How many rush Limbaugh buzzwords can Robert Byngham stuff into a sentence???
Can't the man think on his own??

15. Hey there Big Guy,
Well, you know, everyone has rights. Corporations have rights, individuals have rights, criminals have rights, even Public School Boards have rights.
Now, school officals had the right to ask her to leave if they thought her dress was inappropriate, and she should have. If she became combative they had the the right to call in law enforcement to escort her out.
If she became a little unruley, law enforcement had the right to cuff her, even take her to the local jail house if they wanted, where she could invoke her right to make one phone call.
What can you say to Marche Taylor other than welcome to the real world.
