The Jews are His chosen people but have had to face persecution all of their existence. This is bigger than your little simplistic view of how you think God should be. Just because the Jews were chosen to face persecution does not mean the Christians like it- we HATE it. This is God's work- His plan! It is important that we help the Jews keep their homeland.
