It was wild ride. Just when you thought it was over, there would always be one more turn. But now that it has finally come to an end, it is a fond memory. Now, on to the general election!

He isn't George Bush or John McCain.
How does that sound?

4. Well, love her or hate her, there is no denying that Hillary has made history. The first woman to make it this far into a potential presidency; look for other women to follow in the future.

7. I wrote this for the individuals reporters on this blog that are still spellbinded. You can use this joke anytime- be my guest. But, in realty it isn't a joke but the truth.
A young man visiting Obama's rally for the first time, was interviewed at the New York airport just before his return to North Carolinaby a reporter of the Young Turks. After a few routine questions he was asked: "What was it about this man that impressed you the most? "Alot, he smokes, he is is free spirited with sex matters, he hates the war, he thinks that we can give Hope to the world, and he believes in change. The Young Turk interviewer then asked the young man, " Well what has he accomplished? Can you list some kind of accomplishment for us"? The young man looked at the Young Turk interviewer puzzled and said " I just told you! He hates the war, thinks that Hope is the answer and he believes in change!" The interviewer kept following him with the mike and pressed on , "Yes, but you haven't told me what policies do you care about that he has accomplished.". By now the young man was becoming angry, "Look I told you already, let me get to my destination." The Young Turk interviewer stopped and asked him one more time, " can you just give me one example?" The young boy's eyes popped up and smile and said "Yes he can, Yes he can!" The interview picked up his mike and nodded his head saying " another idiot born in this World!
Wake Up Turks!!! Write the truth already! Yes you can Yes you can Yes you can

8. and after all that your prize is...BARACK OBAMA...
yeah good luck with that.
Davidg at 9:51PM on Jun 7th 2008
9. Hmm, one Obama accomplishment. Well he was in the Senate for a couple of years, uh uh, he didn't vote for the war (not like he could have or not). He says hope and change a lot even though all candidates say the same thing, 2006 Congress elections (yeah, a lot of change there, but it's Bush's fault nothing has been done, of course). Oh, and he's anti-lobbyist, big surprise.

11. Okay Dana, I'll play your game. What you fail to realize, is that his accomplishments are totally subjective to each individual. So cut the bullshit.
Here is your list based on what I feel an accomplishment is.
With the assistance of Senator Jones, Mr. Obama helped deliver what is said to have been the first significant campaign finance reform law in Illinois in 25 years. He brought law enforcement groups around to back legislation requiring that homicide interrogations be taped and helped bring about passage of the state's first racial-profiling law. He was a chief sponsor of a law enhancing tax credits for the working poor, played a central role in negotiations over welfare reform and successfully pushed for increasing child care subsidies.
He had a 100 percent rating from the Illinois Planned Parenthood Council for his support of abortion rights, family planning services and health insurance coverage for female contraceptives.
Obama regularly supported gun-control measures, including a ban on semiautomatic "assault weapons" and a limit on handgun purchases to one a month.
Obama parted company with gun control advocates when he backed a measure to let retired police officers and military police carry concealed weapons.
Obama occasionally supported higher taxes, joining other Democrats in pushing to raise more than 300 taxes and fees on businesses in 2004 to help solve a budget deficit.
That's one reason Illinois business groups gave Obama a low rating, while labor groups praised him. But even Obama's allies say he refused to become a rubber stamp for their legislation.
During his last two years, Democrats controlled the chamber and he was the go-to guy on a variety of issues. He helped pass legislation overhauling Illinois' troubled capital punishment system and was a key figure in requiring a massive statewide study of traffic stops to look for signs of racial profiling. Although police groups opposed the legislation, they say Obama listened to their concerns and accepted some of their suggestions to improve the bill.
Even when he was in the political minority, Obama sometimes played a critical role. He helped write one of the rare ethics laws in a state known for government corruption and worked on welfare reform with Republicans.
He sponsored legislation to bar job and housing discrimination against gays, and he helped create a state version of the earned income tax credit for the poor. Obama also led efforts to reject federal rules that would have put workers' overtime checks in jeopardy.
Voted to end $300 million worth of tax breaks for businesses. (2004)
Voted for having Illinois endorse embryonic stem cell research. (2004)
Voted against restrictions on public funding of abortion. (2000)
Successfully co-sponsored a prescription drug discount buying club program for seniors and the disabled. (2003)
Unsuccessfully co-sponsored ban on discrimination based on sexual orientation. The measure became law after Obama was elected to the U.S. Senate. (2003)
Successfully co-sponsored major ethics reform called the Gift Ban Act. (1998)
Washington Post: Obama Deserved Credit For Assembling And Passing "Strongest Ethics Legislation To Emerge From Congress Yet." The Washington Post wrote in an editorial, "The final package is the strongest ethics legislation to emerge from Congress yet...Mr. Reid, along with Sens. Russell Feingold (D--Wis.) and Barack Obama (D--Ill.), deserves credit for assembling and passing this package." [Washington Post, Editorial, 1/20/07]
He was the first black president of the Harvard Law Review.
He worked on providing over $100 million dollars in tax cuts to Illinois citizens.
He was against the war when it was politicaly incorrect to do so.
He voted to provide agricultural disaster assistance.
He voted to improve the security of cargo containers destined for the United States.
He voted to provide $1,829,100,000 for the Army National Guard for the construction of 370 miles of triple-layered fencing, and 461 miles of vehicle barriers along the southwest border

12. Clinton has "suspended" not ended her campaign.
Guess what that little chat she had with Obama was about.
I would think it is the rumor that Michelle engaged in a toxic racist rant.
Obama has refused to deny that hit happened... so it looks like it did.
Obama probably thinks he can dodge this bulltet.
Clinton is waiting in the wings to save the party.
...............
"For about 30 minutes, Michelle Obama launched into a rant about the evils of America, and how America is to blame for the problems of Africa. Michelle personally blamed President Clinton for the deaths of millions of Africans and said America is responsible for the genocide of the Tutsis and other ethnic groups. She then launched into an attack on "whitey", and talked about solutions to black on black crime in the realm of diverting those actions onto white America. Her rant was fueled by the crowd: they reacted strongly to what she said, so she got more passionate and enraged, and that's when she completely loses it and says things that have made the mouths drop of everyone who's seen this."

That's it! In what, 12 years in government he has sponsored 1 bill?
His voting record is that he has failed to vote or take a side on about half the issues.
Gee, this guy is either dumb and cannot make up his mind.. or is the lazest legislator ever.
What does he stand for?
1. racism ( his writing, revs wright & phelger, his wife's thesis, and her rumored racist rant)
2. sexism (his Detroit comment seen on youtube calling a woman journalist "sweetie", the linguistic equivalent of calling a black man "boy"., his sexist remarks at the NH primary debate , & check out Geraldine Ferraro)
3. biogtry (sneers at the working class, gun owners, religous people, people who are anti illegal immigration, and people who are anti free trade profiting on the rich)
4. He is a liar:
i) He promised Americans tough Nafta negotiations while telling the Canadian gov to ignore those promises as "mere campaign rhetoric". When caught, he lied and said it did not happen. Then the memo was leaked proving him a liar.
ii) He aired ads saying he did not take big oil money. He took more than any other candidate.
iii)On May 19, 2008 he told people in OR that Iran does not pose a threat to the USA. On May 20, 2008 he told people in Montana that he has alwasy said Iran poses a serious threat to the USA,
iv) He made a speach one day saying he would be flexible on farc.. the next week before Cuban Americans he said he would hard lined.
OBAMA = LIAR LIAR LIAR
