It was wild ride. Just when you thought it was over, there would always be one more turn. But now that it has finally come to an end, it is a fond memory. Now, on to the general election!

61. You are a hoot, Thomas Gassett. You claim liberalism is wrong, yet McCain's immigration bill, gang of eight, etc were more in line with the liberals. And again, many on the right still do not like him for it. Funny how just a short year ago McCain was being villified by conservatives; now apparently he can do no wrong. But I guess as long as he has the (R) behind his name, that will do. I'm starting to think McCain could be the Bob Dole of 1996.

Just like one of my examples.
Nothing to add but attack and smear...

65. There is a lot of ranting and raving about Obama
not having enough experience,or qualifications
to be President.
Nobody whom has ever been President had any
presidential experience until they learned it
on the job.
The only qualifications are that you are an
American born citizen, and at least the age of 35.
( McClain was born in Panama but that's another
story ).
Obama has the intellect, charisma, temperament and organizational leadership qualities to possibly be a great President.

66. Hillary gave the right answer to an unprevoked pre-emptive nuclear
strike. It's a known international fact if this happens by any nation
including the United States there will be instant retaliation. Silo
held nuclear weaponry is a safeguard deterrent from any such attack.
Obama didn't have the balls to answer the hardline question directly
because it would compromise votes & his self righteous attempt of
being a negotiative god. The man is nothing but self engaging
rhetoric that only the meek & ignorant appoint themselves to listen
to... There is NO NEGOTIATION of an all out nuclear strike!

67. "Botts
Out of almost 60 comments your are the only one that resorts to profanity on here."
Dana are you serious? Who called who the idiot? Who engaged in the nastyness?
The answer is you.
If you can't handle the word "shit" or "bullshit", then I suggest you not blog. I'm going to call it as I see it.
As I mentioned, what each of us feel is an accomplishment would entirely be subjective to each individual. It's a bullshit question and you know it.
" This greatly diminishes your credibility and surely doesn't get your point across. "
My point was made and if you disagree with it, that is your right. Saying "shit" or "bullshit" does not make me an angry person and as a matter of fact, I couldn't be more happier. Get some tought skin.
"I appreciate your attempt to copy and paste the bills Obama has "sponsored" however we both know he has not had a hand in writing a single one of them."
No we both don't know that. The statement that he sponsered one bill was a lie, as I pointed out. It still is a lie. Look, if you don't want him to be President, don't vote for him, but you and people like you should just tell the truth.
"This is as far as I will go in entertaining a conversation with you, given your maturity level on this blog and your answering with angry profanity, rhetoric and emotion rather than mature intellect. "
I could care less if you engage me in any converstation. You started the conversation by calling me an idiot. So your maturatiy level and anger coupled with emotion versus mature intellect is your downfall.
Don't throw stones Dana when you live in a glass house. And don't spout bullshit either. Come back with sound reason and logic. Come back with evidence to why you don't support a candidate. Rumors and lies and bigotry don't count.
You should know better.

68. Hillary Clinton was the bomb!
She has more balls than Obama and McCain together.
Its a disgrace what the media did to her, but she won the election anyway (more people voted for her than any candidate in American history) even though the nomination was stolen from her.
She did accomplish a lot and let everyone know, Democrat and Republican alike that no one should ever mess with the Clintons again or try to smear their wonderful political leegacy.
And she will be a force to reckon with from here on in.
She'd better get the VP position or Obama will lose.
nrthdude at 10:17PM on Jun 8th 2008
69. One of Obama supporters' biggest mistakes was to constantly accuse anyone who supported Hillary Clinton or who disagreed with Obama as racist.
The media pushed this fallacy, too.
But the Republicans won't put up with it. It'sll be fun to watch this smear tactic go up in flames. It was so tiresome.
nrthdude at 10:18PM on Jun 8th 2008
70. Hilary only had the popular vote if you count
Florida and Michigan.
Hilary campaigned in both states,Obama didn't,
and wasn't even on the ballot in Michigan.
Both states were cut out of the Dem primary as
punishment for defying the party by having
early primaries after they were warned not to.
Hilary and Obama both understood this.
Bob Johnson at 10:52PM on Jun 8th 2008
71. Botts - Obama's votes are not an accomplishment. And the man should be ashamed of his support for Planned Parenthood. That is a pernicious organization founded by an avowed, notorious racist - Margaret Sanger, who thought blacks demonstrably inferior and thus sought to limited their numbers.
That is why Planned Parenthood has a disproportionately high number of "family planning" clinics in inner cities. And this is liberal social engineering at it's diabolical worst.
It is onerous and destructive to the black American family. It denies black children the same opportunity that Barrack Obama now has by killing them before birth. It's playing God with people's lives and is pure, unadultrated, despicable evil.

72. Obama and the Economy
USA economy is slowing down, growth rate for GDP is expected to be 1.5% for all of 2008. Unemployment is now at 5.5%.
Europe's amjor economy's of France, Germnay, Italy and Spain all have unemployment at 6.8% up to 7.4%. The 4 countries expect GDP to grow in 2008 by 1.5%.
World economy is lowing down, Europe's unemployment if 1.1% to 1.6% higher than USA.
Obama-what will Obama do to improve the USA Economy????????
All I have heard so far is Obama has promised to raise Capital Gains Tax, Raise Income Taxes by allowing prior tax cuts expire, Impose UN Tax for Global Poverty on USA of 0.7% of GDP=60 billion a yr., impose UN Tax on Carbon Emissions of 20 billion yr.on USA.
Are these limited known economic plans of Obama's going to help the US Economy grow????
Is raises the taxes in the USA with the biggest tax incrase in US History, the answer to improving the economy in the USA??
OK Obama, what are you going to do for the USA economy?????
No answers from Obama people of what would Obama would or should do if Iran launched a Nuclear Attack on Israel??????????
Bob Johnson remains quiet on that question.

73. Can you imagine any self respecting woman in the USA voting for Obama who calls professional women, while working, "sweetie"? '
Will he tell all men in America to do the same? Will women now be subjected to being called "sweetie" by their bosses and clients, while their male coleagues are treated with respect?
That is the world Obama wants... women as second classs citizens.
cdnbirch at 5:44PM on Jun 8th 2008

What a phoney you are. It's sickening! As we all know, McSame wants to pack the Supreme Court with justices who are more than willing to assure that women have absolutely NO CHOICE over what they can do with their own bodies. You and every bitter Hillary supporter that won't support Obama deserve what you get.
Every single one of you idiots deserve what you get. I said it last time we had a Presidential election and it still holds true. Every one of you so-called "christians" who voted for Bush, simply because you hate gays and abortion, has the blood of thousands on YOUR hands. Take responsibility for THAT, apologize to the rest of us, stay home on election day to think about how YOU are directly responsible for ruining this nation and promise to not be duped by snake oil salesmen like McCain again. I, myself, retired 10 years ago at the tender age of 40, and will never have to work again so I laugh my ass off at all the ignorant people who voted for Bush that are now losing their homes and losing their loved ones in Iraq, it is YOU, by your ignorance, that deserve what ya got! So, you hate $4/gal gas? Good! I hope you have to go bankrupt and live under a bridge! You vote Republican because you hate gays and want the US to be a Christian Theocracy? Fine, live with your choices and get in the soup line! Tough fucking shit.

looks like somoene is up on his sassy horse today. everyone who doesn't support obama deserves what he gets? um, if obama gets elected - seems to me like everyone will be sharing equally in that misery...and if he doesn't, which he won't, won't everyone just...have a decent 4 years with mccain? right.
what is this guy even talking about.
