First, there was the press fascination with Michelle and Barack Obama's fist bump before Tuesday night's victory speech (what is all the fuss about - people have been doing this in America for a long time -- it is neither a scary new concept or even anything that is particularly cool). But now, as usual, Fox News has taken it over the top.
If I described how they characterized this fist bump, you wouldn't believe it, so watch it for yourself (an MSNBC report on how bewildering this new concept is comes first and then the insane Fox description):
What's great about Fox now is that they've lost all subtlety, so we don't have to try to convince anyone that they are a conservative propaganda outfit anymore. It's as clear as anything can possibly be. The slogan "fair and balanced" has become a joke everyone gets. It has entered the lexicon as an ironic statement meant to convey the opposite of what is really happening.
Now that Fox News has become full-blown parody of itself, the next question is -- how can anyone hire people who work on Fox as legitimate "news" reporters anywhere else? Whatever it is that they do over there clearly isn't journalism, so why in the world would anyone hire these people as legitimate journalists again?

1. Cenk
Who would even think of hiring Cenk who selects the stories that are slanted towards his views and even edits stories to his readers to his view points? Who would hire Cenk with such a stupid laugh and who bounces around in his chair like a clown while telling the story?
Fist/high five story
Last week the Left Wing Liberal Fascist Media mocked President Bush for giving a chest bump with a graduating Air Force Cadet during Graduation. The left wing press said it was "Childish" of the President, and a better GI Bill would be a better way to show his support than a "Chest Bump"
ED Hill opened the show making mention to the Obama's fist/high five as maybe being a terrorist move, but she was really mocking the response of the left wing press attack on Bush's chest bump with the cadet. It was the Cadet's idea of doing something different at graduation so he did the chest bump with the President. When ED Hill got to the full story of the fist/high five was there no mention of "terrorist" connection. Media Matters, the left wing media watchdog said the same, that ED Hill said nothing about any terrorist meaning of the fist/high five when she got to the full story. Media Matters did not fault Fox News.
Cenk went through another one of his monthly attacks on Fox News. In spite of the Cenk attacks on the #1 rated Cable News Station, Fox reamins #1 with maybe even higher ratings than before Cenk's campaign of hate directed at Fox.

2. Good one, Cenk!
"Now that Fox News has become full-blown parody of itself......"
------------------------------
You're damn right, they're running on empty!
But what do they accomplish besides appealing to the poltically and socially retarded and insane? (see post #1)
They distract us from McCain's constantly demonstrated incompetence and they distract us from the biggest crooks in American political history, governor george bush and big dick cheney.
I wonder how Fux Noise (and the rest of the MSM)will try to spin the following....
Friday, June 20th, Scott McClellan will testify UNDER OATH before Congress. He will be asked to specifically address the following...
1.What role did President Bush, Vice President Cheney and key administration officials take in the effort to reveal the identity of covert CIA agent Valeria Plame Wilson - thus destroying her network and putting lives in jeopardy?
2.What role did President Bush, Vice President Cheney, and key administration officials take regarding the firing of U.S. Attorneys for political reasons?
3.What role did President Bush, Vice President Cheney, key administration officials take in conspiring to blatantly break U.S. and International laws prohibiting the use of torture?

It is about time the cowards did something. But why this waste of time??????????
Congress has an Impeachment Resolution that it act on but that is buried in Committee by the Democratic cowards in Congress.
June 20 will be a waste of money and is nothing more than a show to be put on by the cowardly Democrats.
Impeachment should start now, that this farce by the Democrats, yapping and wasting money talking with McClellan now is the Democrat cowards way out. Make it look like your doing something, and then do nothing.
Where will this waste of time get us?????
Will they impeach Bush and Cheney after this waste of time?????????
Economies around the world and the USA are slowing down, unemployment rate goes up to 5.5% in USA, gas to $4 a gal., and Congress plays the fiddle while Washington burns.
Impeach now or fix the economy.

4. Captain Negative : Play tell me what Bush, Cheney and/or Rove had to do with Richard Armitage first telling Bob Woodward about Ms. Plame and then telling Bob Nowack?
Robert OKane : In ancient Greece, when the economy tanked or disaster struck, they killed the King. Now, their intellectual decendents cry "Impeach the President."

5. Sink did not even show the entire story. He's acting as if Fox came out and called it outright a "terrorist fist jab". She was doing a, slow down here so Sink can understand a "news story" about how people maybe did not understand the gesture and what could it be. Perhaps everyone in America is not as "hip" and "cool" as Sink and the guy who operates the controls (what is he doing that for anyway?).
If Fox was bad in their reporting, then this is just absurd. "Stop right there I can't even watch it"? Right, because had he watched it he wouldn't have had his clever little blog for the day.
Too bad Overman and Maddog got a hold of it first on MSNBC last night (we know that network is fair an balanced). Sink not only does not have a story but he does not even have the distinction of having made an ass of himself first.
You have to be quick to beat Maddogs fat ass to anything.
This is the silliest thing I have ever seen, even from Sink. To take nothing and make even less? Wow.

6. Robert, your points about impeachment are all very interesting.
I am thinking in terms of criminal charges. It will be interesting to see if governor bush gives dick cheney a the kind of "pro active" pardons bush Sr. gave to everyone who even *might* to Iran/Contra conspirators who hadn't been indicted. Or a Gerald Ford type pardon for Tricky Dick; a pardon for anything Richard Nixon "did or may have done."
Yes, there will be a whole lot of interesting presidential pardons in the final hours before dick & bush slither out.
I'll bet governor bush is praying he'll have a republican president to pardon him. Obama might not do it.

7. No offence intended, longwalker, but I am not interested in yet another right-wing, "perspective" on the Plame matter. I'll watch the story unfold.
Captain Negative at 7:56AM on Jun 10th 2008
8. Some blithering head on Fox Spews also said Obama was in his mid 30's. He's 46, and we all know it. Doesn't the media tell us every flippin day how old he is?

I know you say you are a private investigator, self employed, so you really must know that in an impeachment proceeding the people testify under oath. The same facts can come out in an impeachment proceeding and if the facts are of criminal nature, then criminal charges can then proceed from there. Surely you know that, don't you?
This hearing with McClellan is a waste of time and money and just because the Democrats in Congress are cowards and liars(promised they would impeach).
The same would be accomplished with an Impeachment, but the cowards buried the Impeach Cheney Resolution in Committee where it is now forgotten.

10. Wait, wait, I don't even need to see the entire thing, stop right there.
Good advice, I suggest we all follow it for every one of Sink's videos.
Oh and I meant to say earlier:
You have to move real quick to beat Rachel Maddog's fat ass to the sushi bar.
or maybe Rachel Madcow is a better name for her. Don't you know she is just the queen of the left-leaning "women's" bar.
Too bad she ditched them all the first time she saw a bbc.

11. Oh and I'm sorry but I just can't resist.
This is a pahetic attempt at a blog.

12. First we get Michelle "Mad-Dog" Malkin's "panties in a bunch" moment over Rachel Ray's alledged "terrorist scarf," now we've got E.D. Hill attempting to fire up a phony shitstorm over aso-called "terrorist fist bump."
Once again, the right wing displays the over-the-top silliness that has made it a laughingstock among normal Americans.
Just keep on throwing out the remaining card in your discredited deck --- that frayed, old "terrorist card." By mindlessly spewing hot air about things like "fist bumps" you are likely to "bump" up Barack's margin of victory in November.
Americans are tired of this played out smear tactic schtick. We've got more important things to worry about -- gas prices, home mortgages, and this sucky bush economy under which we now toil.
For right wingnuts, the "terrorist card" is the last one left in their pathetic hand.
non_prophet at 9:30AM on Jun 10th 2008
13. Uh non-prophet, that's pahetic around here.
Oh and once again, as bad as ED is, and she's pretty awful...SHE DID NOT SAY THAT!!!!!!!
Geez, talk about out of context. I am just stunned (I'm turning red and getting all excited like Cenk) STUNNED and SHOCKED by this.
Grow up, just grow the f up.
Davidg at 10:04AM on Jun 10th 2008
14. Captain Negative : "A right-wing perspective?" Why do you consider the fact that Richard Armitage was the person who told Robert Nowack and Robert Woodward that Valerie Plame was Joseph Wilson's wife and worked for the CIA is "a right-wing perspective?" Armitage has stated that he told Nowack and Woodward, Nowark and Woodward have confirmed his statement and Fitzgerald knew about from day one.
longwalker at 10:11AM on Jun 10th 2008
15. Okane I will agree with you on this: the Democrats are cowards. They should have impeached Bush and Cheney a long time ago. One of the reasons for the mess in Iraq is because a bunch of cowardly Democrats like Hillary Clinton voted for the war resolution. Instead of showing real courage and fortitude, she pandered to that idiot core of American opinion that believes the solution to every problem is to go bomb somebody.
Give the right wing repugs their due. They are dumb as hell, but at least they have backbone.
