iFido Relaunch
Apple announced that they will soon release a new, cheaper iPhone. Sounds appealing. Then again, iPhones were used in Brooklyn to lure people into being robbed! Not so appealing. Hardly a fair comparison of pros and cons, but it does illustrate that purchasing a smart phone is a tough decision.
Maybe it's easier to just go with an iFido, first launched on Mo Rocca 180 last year.

I am very sad to hear of the passing of Mr. Tim Russert.
The best spin I can put on this is that at least he had the opportunity, as a fellow political junkie, to witness an African American, a Brilliant Woman and a Prisoner of War all be seriously considered for the Presidency of the United States.

5. Maybe it’s time for me to retire my carrier pigeon and get an iFido (but not Mutley...he and his buddies keep intercepting my messages):

JG—Very well said and thank you for mentioning Tim Russert’s death. Although I wasn’t a regular viewer of “Meet the Press”, I did catch it occasionally, and was always impressed by his professionalism and his tough yet tactful approach to interviewing. I read that he was thought of as being close to his family, so I am keeping them in my thoughts.

6. I was very moved by Tim Russert's passing as well. With college and frequent moves I've not watched television with any regularity these past couple of years, but my mom was (and is) a huge Meet The Press fan and I had the pleasure of watching it with her on Sunday morning on several occasions. He seemed to be one of the few honest men in corporate news media. My thoughts are with his family.

7. John Giza,
I agree with you. It is very unfortunate that he wont be here to see it to the end. Furthermore, it's even more unfortunate for us, that we will not be able to watch him report the results of the up-coming elections.
It's not only terribly sad, it is simply not fair.

8. Dear Friends,
There are sure to be many fine tributes to a person as deserving as Mr. Russert.
For my own part, while I will acknowledge that tomorrow is Father's Day, I refuse to acknowledge that it is Sunday.
12 noon tomorrow will indicate the line of demarcation between late Saturday and early Monday.

11. A very poignant response Mr. Giza. Kudos. Mr. Russert and his contributions to the news media will be sorrowfully missed.
As for iFido, I personally am not a fan. The dog however is cute and worth a good cuddling but I can't trust a canine with my aimless text messages about when I want to go to lunch or whom I'd like to send a sideways happy face to. It's too complicated. The recipient would ignore the message and be far more enthralled with the dog.

12. Hi Mo,
Great seeing you on the flight to Chicago last month. It's been a long time since I interviewed you.
Hope all is well.
Let me know if you find yourself on the upper west side.
