136. Please - No one spoke of accessorizing! Those ladies would look so much better with aviator sunglasses and maybe a hair band in a bold print with accent colors.

137. No. 136 post and others who are mentioning "racism" to this debate, need to look up that word's definition. Religious affiliation/belief is a choice, just like it's twin, political affiliation/belief. Not one human in history or on record has ever been born already having a knowledge of religion, it's a taught and learned thing, period. Now, being born a certain race, creed, color, or disability etc. is not a choice. Those who demean, discriminate or harm those in these categories are racist and if nothing else inhumane.
When you make a life choice to follow a certain path (whatever it may be) there are going to be those who disagree or don't like it.

138. Susie,
I thank you and appreciate you for your modesty.
Beauty comes from within and radiates outward through the eyes, personality and of course the feminine nature.
God bless you and yours,
and everyone on this blog.
pps. mac, praying for your graddad tonight.

139. I hope these women take these tips! Tim is the God of Fashion and I adore him.... In light of this the courts should say:
" Ladies, dump your husband, stop the fashion crimes and you can get visitation with the kids" Stop this cycle of bad looks...and bad man.. can that be so wrong?

140. Ah Mo, a greatest hit topic! Bet it's as big on comments and links and stuff as Adam Felber's "Concession Speech" or the current "Federal Judge says: Enough with the stupid names" on the peoples news sites.
And Mo's beginning is lite because our dear Mo helps us see the lite side. So I've gottttta rant on lite and serious.
I agree with the party line of the TX child welfare people that if one family allowed a daughter to have underage sex/marriage--take that child from the home. Child Prot argues that this is on an unprecedented scale, but the criteria is the same so they have taken unusually large numbers of young kids from the cult site.
The cult folk were not good neighbors, they bought their giant site within the limits of an actual small town and outnumbered the real, sane (for West Texas) residents.
Chandler, you are the only ALL CAPS person with a pertinent comment. I worked with a woman whose kid was an abused husband, and he was screwed--she physically abused him, trashed treasured stuff (with knives) and, yet, ultimately got custody of the daughter. He never touched her. And pertinent to topic, young men in these sexist--to all genders--cults are thrown out of the cult in numbers enough to ensure The Faithfull are rewarded with the correct multi-wife ratio.
For lite, folks, these hairdos really look 40's to me, rather than Elvissy. Think Andrews Sisters on the Prairie. Also, Garth Williams rules, Michael Landon's TV show drools.

142. Mo, I've been WONDERING where I could buy one of those LHOP (Little House on the Prairie) dresses. And WHERE can I get my hair done in an updo like that?! As Billy Crystal said it best, "You look Fab-u-lous, Daaling!"

143. UrBrokenAngel, I just wanted to clarify: polyandry IS polygamy.
polygamy - marriage to more than one PERSON at once
polyandry - marriage to more than one man at once
POLYGYNY - marriage to more than one woman at once
These people could be said to practice polygamy or, more specifically, polygyny. Polyandry is very rare, but there are some groups, like, in Nepal and stuff that practice it (there's the obvious associated problem of not knowing who fathered your child).
Sorry; I was fascinated by my Intro to Sociology textbook.
