While the Senate was ready to vote on the FISA Amendments Act today, Senators Russell Feingold and Christopher Dodd fought to keep them from casting a final vote and jamming the bill through Congress.
In a statement released by Feingold, he says:
"I am pleased we were able to delay the vote on FISA until after the July 4th holiday instead of having it jammed through. I hope that over the July 4th Holiday, Senators will take a closer look at the deeply flawed legislation and understand how it threatens the civil liberties of the American People. It is possibly to protect this country against the terrorists while also protecting the rights and freedoms that define our nation."
For those who haven't read up on the new FISA bill, it would basically give the government the right to peek into the private overseas phone conversations, emails, and even text messages of all Americans. Part of the bill would give retroactive immunity to telephone companies that gave the government private information of Americans.
Feingold says the FISA bill would also allow the government to take all international communications and put it in a giant database. The most outrageous part of the bill states that there does not have to be any court review or evidence that anyone is doing anything wrong before the government intrudes on the person's privacy. The government will simply have complete access to the personal overseas communications of every single American.
Feingold continues to say, "It's a vast power that has no limits. There's no regulation of it."
Obviously, the new FISA bill was created to help the government "track down terrorists"....just like the Iraq War was orchestrated to find weapons of mass destruction. It all makes perfect sense.
It's angering that the government has instilled so much fear in the minds of Americans, that many are ready to hand over precious civil liberties in the name of "protection." In fact, it's sickening. All the Republicans who are avid gun owners and want to protect their constitutional right to bear arms have NO RIGHT to say an American's right to privacy is not as important. This proposed FISA bill simply violates the right to privacy. Fear tactics should not trick Americans into giving up their freedoms. The Senate needs to wake up.
The more the Bush Administration remains in power, the more the United States mirrors the image George Orwell illustrated in his book 1984. Big brother really is watching, and members of our own Senate are allowing it to happen.
Feingold admits that many of the Senators have not completely read the bill and do not know the logistics of it. By holding off on the bill until after July 4th, hopefully the Senate will have the opportunity to think things over and not just hand the Bush Administration exactly what they want.

I think everything else I've ever heard regarding 911 conspiracy could be explained, but that is persistent.
Clif there has been statements posted regarding this in Bldg #7 and supposedly towers #1 & #2.
According to some claims, both the FBI and the CIA had offices in Bldg#7. If this is so then a very possible explantion for Thermate/Thermite residue found would come from self-destruct devices that would have been part of filing cabinet/safe combinations security systems. They are set on top of safes holding classified documents or manuals.
The are about the size of your weekly sunday newspaper. These would be present since most bureaucrats would follow SOP for setting up an office regardless of something really being sensable or not. If "the manual" says do A,B,C they they would do A,B,C.
This may explain the bldg#7 if such evidence was truly found.
As far as the towers go, I have not read that anything more then traces being found. If you google Thermate/Thermite you can find a site that supplies
all the ingredients for it. Funny thing is that it appears that all the components existed in some form or another within the airframe of a jet air liner. Especially within the landing gear areas. You have aluminum, copper,magnesium, along with hydraulic fluid, and even jet fuel. When the magnesium from a wheel fire starts there is only one thing to extinguish it, PKP powder, used specifically to put out magnesium fires on aircraft.
One thing they always teach people around aircraft is to never, ever try to put any liquids like water on magnesium that is overheated or burning.
To do so invites an explosion, specifcally from the tire assembly. It might be possible that under conditions of a fire these components created that trace effect.
These are just possibilities but I am sure others will chime in about the "solid proof" that it was otherwise.

At 9:52 AM the firefighters, at the crash site want a line to knock down two small fires. TWO FIRES which can easily be "knocked down by two firefighters. Hardly the type of flames which could melt steel.

Here is a link to a picture of a victim STANDING AT THE CRASH SITE.
The fire is supposedly hot enough to melt enormous steel columns, but here is a woman, waving a cloth, hoping for rescue.

this is the only thing close to an explanation that I've read. What I don't know is what concentration was detected. Also, are you sure that these devices use thermate? I should go try to find the chem formulae. They're probably online somewhere. I haven't dealt with pyrotechnics since college.
I really do hope this is a red herring. I would also like an explanation for the coincidences surrounding another couple of 2001 coincidences that are very disturbing, maybe worse than if this were true.

They cant formulate a simple constitutional analysis argument and you want them to explain thermo nuclear physics. Michael Moore is their source they just dont want to admit it.

How else do you explain a know nothing, flip flop, communist healed, no record, black liberation theologian without a birth certificate coming on the scene in the manner he has.

I am not completely sure since the ones in our electronics shops that sat atop safes containing manuals was back in 1970-71 time frame. I know they they were Therm?te something or other.
Also, Clif, if you look up the history/learning channel program about "The history or welding" they
show one part how pieces made up from different alloys can be fused into different combination using heat or even explosions.
Again, If there were traces of it in #7, then the safe destruct system could be a clue. If it was the towers than the combination of metals within the wheelwell and landing gear assembly areas could be a clue.
I am sure that someone will offer their ideas.

Simple fact is that jet fuel does not burn hot enough to melt steel columns (which BTW, were covered in flame retardant material).
It is as simple as that.
IF it isn't that simple, anyone with rudimentary Googling skills *should* be able to give us numerous examples of other steel and concrete high rise buildings which COLLAPSED INTO THEIR OWN FOOTPRINTS due to fire.
