1. I may be one of the few who noticed this, but 'My Maryland, My Maryland' shares the exact same tune with the holiday favorite 'Oh Christmas Tree, Oh Christmas Tree'.
But come on Mo, did you really expect the average New Yorker or bumbling tourist to know La Vie Boheme, the inspiration for the Broadway hit ‘Rent’, or the usually unknown stanzas of the Star Spangled Banner? You’d be better off quizzing President Bush on South-East Asian capital cities. His responses would be far more funnier, as noted below.
‘Hanoi? Yeah, that’s a spicy Mexican dish right? Hold on, let me ask Cheney.’
‘Bangkok? Yeah, that’s what me and Laur did in high school. Haha.’
‘Manila, hm, that’s a kind of Ice Cream right? One of them Ben and Jerry flavors.’
Oh the rockets red glare..

4. Aw Mo,
Kudos to the falsetto!
Blayze, I see where you're going with this. But think: What if Bush did go to Vietnam during the war. He was a pilot, and not a very experienced one at that. So, he gets shot down. He winds up in a cell with John McCain. The two start talking politics. Then Bush says something like, "Ya know, one day I might run for President." Ha, the paradox of time travel. You can't change history.
Mo, you can't expect the average person to know the parts of the National Anthem that were written at the Indian Queen Hotel. What happens at the Indian Queen, stays at the Indian Queen.
Watch for Hank Kimball on Hardball, coming soon.

5. I'm impressed. You managed a pretty good bargain counter tenor on La Boheme. Bravo!

6. Hey Mo!
Your last blog inspired me to comment. I'm a huge fan! I used to like you on the daily show, but when you came to my school (SUNY Fredonia) you were awesome! I started listening to "Wait, Wait" on NPR because of you. You're blog is great! You should really plug it the next time you're on NPR.
Anyway, I think you're right about blogging and the relationship between people on the internet. There is a certain level of interactivity and communication that just can't exist on television - or even on a stage.
Best Wishes,
Christine

7.
MO, I've got to hand it to you. You are amazing, going out in the park and getting perfect strangers to sing. You remind me of JAYWALKING on the Leno show. I would do no better than your contestants.
your rendition of LA BOHEME broke my glass. The last person capable of breaking a glass was Dale Christianson from Phanatom Of The Opera . You are seriously HOT. The video was my favorite so far. See ya, I have to go watch it again. It's a classic Mo Rocca production.
Blaze, you are so right about bush!

8. My Mo is CRAZY!!!
Damn, babe! You could've done the entire video all by yourself! You were the only one who could sing and who knew all the lyrics.
If you do a Part 2 (pretty please with Mickey D's Chicken McNuggets on top), I hope that you sing something from Grease and West Side Story.
So cool of you to keep your fans entertained, while you're in Berlin. I'm looking forward to the pictures!

9. It's a shame you don't sing more often - you've got talent, Mo. I could so see you as Harold Hill in The Music Man on Broadway.
Enjoy your stay in Berlin!

10. I dunno Mo...this seemed to be more about you showing off your singing chops then testing the populace's lyrical knowledge and rewarding them for it. 'Nuff said.

11. Mo, your the total package.
In fifth-grade I actually had to learn all of the verses of the Star Spangled Banner. What a horrible song.

12. I meant "you are" the total package. I'm suffering from a brain cloud.

13. Mo, great job on the Star Spangled Banner!Very impressive! Also, I quite like your singing voice, you should make a cd. I would so buy it!
Blayze: Haha, your comment about Bush was too funny.
