Yesterday, the United States government agreed to give up some of our fundamental and unalienable rights because they were scared of Osama bin Laden. That is pathetic. We handed the Fourth Amendment over to Al Qaeda and changed our way of life because our leaders are afraid of a bunch of ragtag terrorists.
Democrats went along with this Republican plan, including Barack Obama, because they are used to the politics of weakness. They would have won and protected our freedoms if they had instead engaged in the politics of strength. How could they have done this? Watch below and you will see:

What he doesn't understand is the belief system behind the bullshit the libs spew all the time.
When it gets down to the meat of the issue they always have to cave from lack of substance. You can't protect against an invisible enemy without night vision capability in a dark closet.
Again, this is why Obama is moving toward the center. It's all about gaining substance for his final thrust. He never had any core values, his campaign is a search for chemistry at all cost.
Before this is over, you'll see him wiggling his position on energy when it comes down to being the most critical issue on the agenda. He'll sell you out on this as well.

Hillary voted NO on FISA fat boy.
The not yet selected nominees for President from the Republican and Democrat Parties, McCain and Obama both voted YEA for FISA.
Obama has once again lied. Obama keeps changing his positions on major issues, and even votes different on issues that got him where he is now. FISA was a big item and Obama Flip Flopped to favoring FISA to even voting for FISA.
Obama, maybe better known as Bushama, voted for the McCain-Feingold Public Financing Bill and promised to use that funding, then flip flopped and now will use private financing for his campaign after the actual nomination. Broken promise=another lie by Bushama. Bushama is still playing the "Pay to Play" Chiago Politics.
Hillary supporters keep the pressure on Hillary to stay in the running till the convention, do not give up. Do not give Bushama your delegates.

congress is deliberately gridlocked by republicans and they're on record with that as their stated objective.
To get a better assessment look at each representative or senator's popularity in their home state.
That will tell you who's coming back and who isn't.
Russ Feingold described the obama strategy adequately. Cenk notwithstanding, it's a political tactic and a damn good one.
Obama is indeed a very different type of candidate, and his so-called 'shift to center' is corporate media manufactured.
However to think that Obama can't play politics or won't is to underestimate his and his campaign's capacity. He comes from the best and toughest school in the US - the streets of Chicago.
Getting Fisa off the table until the first session of congress under Obama is an excellent strategy - mcsame has no fodder and a democratic congress will bring back the fourth amendment full strength.
So says Feingold and it makes excellent sense.
This is politics, but nowhere near as usual. What do the republicanists complain about?

Dems Getting Nervous About Drilling Bans
I couldn't post the link but this is under political machine blogs.
One issue that would have probably been welcomed by fellow democrats & Obama has painted himself into a corner with his theory of filling energy needs through excess taxation & locking horns with Wall Street.
For the record, I could care less how we currently lower oil pricing but I do realize that future demand will have to be met by exploration, not taxation.
Before this is all over you'll have two choices for president. A real republican & a wannabe....

The two major presidential contenders has narrowed
to 5 percentage points in New Jersey, as some of Barack Obama’s support appears to have slipped off into the undecided column over the past month.
The latest Rasmussen Reports telephone survey of New Jersey voters, taken Monday night, shows Obama ahead of Republican candidate John McCain 44% to 39%. Last month, the Democratic hopeful had a 48% to 39% lead over his GOP rival.
Of course this could all be part of a very smart plan on Bushama's part to confuse McCain.

you have to find this yourself. His stance on fisa is explained by russ feingold. I already said that. Obama's interview with Ed Schultz fleshed that out more, but this is a political race so he's not going to be giving away strategy. It's all public record of the past week.
His stance on iraq is verbatim what it was in the pre primary debates. I saw videos establishing that.
He never made a commitment regarding funding of faith based charities before becoming the presumptive nominee so this is only being stated now. Clinton did it as well.
That's all I know about. Is there anything else?

He rose from an unknown in 2004 to the presumptive nominee of the party and he's up about 12% on the average over mcsame.
He did it without taking public funds after beating the Clinton machine. For all that, he still outmaneuvers traditional political strategists.
He's a democrat and his opponent is a neocon and despite how much some hate the word, a fascist in the tradition of Benito Mussolini and Ronald Regan and both bushes and even Prescott Bush. And the general manifesto of PNAC - that differs only in the lack of nationalism that fascists require.
This is quantifiable, not metaphor.

Of course he will, by August he will be wanting to drill off of Florida. I will be happy to bet money on it. Much to the denial of a few other posters on here Obama has shifted to the center and he has to. The far left gave him plenty of blog time and money but they can't get him in the white house and he knows it. He baited the code pinkers and Moveons about Iraq and now he changed his position, which has them pissing their pants(I know Clif according to you he didn't). He knows he can't go against a General saying and proving that the surge is working. He is also smart enough to realize that with new oil contracts in Iraq he won't be bringing the troops back anytime soon, Dems know that too.
