George W. Bush is a historic embarrassment that will forever stain the legacy of American democracy. Listen to short clips from his press conference yesterday and see if you can make it through a couple of minutes without averting your eyes:
I always come back to the same point because it is the one that makes the biggest difference. The press failed us. This man was always stupid -- and glaringly so. The press needed to tell the American people that the emperor had no clothes on. Instead they spent so many years covering his ass. That's how this imbecile was elected a second time. It was great failing of the press, while they thought they were being "neutral." Your job isn't to be neutral, it's to be objective.
A neutral sports reporter would be laughed out of the press box. The Cowboys beat the Giants 42-10. The neutral reporter says they both played fine. The objective reporter says the Cowboys kicked ass and the Giants sucked. Report the score!
A neutral reporter says John McCain and Barack Obama are both fine candidates who represent a change from George W. Bush. An objective reporters says that John McCain's policy proposals are nearly identical to George W. Bush's. They agree on at least 95% of the issues.
You don't have to say John McCain sucks, that's an opinion. But you do have to say that he is nearly a carbon copy of Bush. That's a fact. If you don't report that, then you are not doing your job of informing the American people. That's how we get incompetent presidents like George W. Bush -- because the press was too scared to report the obvious truth.

The news is not reporting the way you and MoveOn wants it to report MoveOn's connection it wants to make between Bush and McCain. After all your puppet master MoveOn strategy is to connect the two, Bush and McCain, as it's way to defeat McCain.
Problem is Obama now has many stated positions that are almost identical as Bush's. Ever since wrapping up the Primary Vote, Obama has been a flipping and a flopping to where he has a Centrist view on many issues, right there with Bush. You and the other Left Wingnuts are going crazy with Obama, who is turning against his base supporters with his change on his position on many issues, most notable, Iraq. Gone is the immediate withdrawal of troops, to a 16 month timetable subject to change.
Obama is looking more like Bush than McCain, or close to that. So we should now say Obama=Bush to go along with McCain=Bush.
Hang in the Hillary, Obama=Bush is sinking in the polls, you still might get the nomination.

on military strategy you're right, but it's the mcbush flipflopping to the obama policies.
Now bush is 'negotiating with terrorists' and going into pakistan on actionable intelligence and redeploying troops to Afghanistan. These are long held Obama policies, and now he is the leading strategist of BOTH parties! Moreover his strategy is endorsed by the Iraqis, and Obama hasn't even take office yet!
Unless mcbush wants to stop banking with communists and letting major companies move offshore and employ third worlders or stop waging oil wars or clean up the environment, stop giving tax breaks to billionaires and stop trying to outlaw abortion, enforce the sherman and clayton acts against monopolies and restraints of competition and trade and impose a windfall oil profits tax and close the enron loophole to mention a very few of the thousands of present differences between the mcbush and the Democratic party, you'd have to be completely out of your mind to see any comparison.
But look who's sayin' so....
This piece of cheese thinks obama's a muslim so you can literally put anything over on him.
How about you?

You keep urging Hillary to hang in there. Does that mean you will support her if she gets the nomination?
Governor bush is a moron and an insult to America! The question is not, "Is Governor bush evil or an idiot?" He is clearly both.

7. Cenk -- We can count on you to exhibit a greater level of ignorance with each of these blogs of yours. How in the hell someone can pay you for this scatology is the greatest mystery of all. Oh, AOL, never mind. That group of sausage slurpers is about 4 levels to the left of your hero Liberace. Creep.

Change you can believe-
Osama bin Obama announced today that when he is elected he plans to change the national symbol to the Condom. He says this more accurately reflects his administration's political stance. A condom allows for inflation, halts production, destroys the next generation, protects a bunch of pricks and gives taxpayers a sense of security while they are actually getting screwed. ---
Remember, an American voting for Osama bin Obama is like an Israeli voting for Al Qaeda.

Who is Barack NoMiddleName Obama? He is anyone he wants to be, or more accurately he's anyone you want him to be. His entire biography when boilded down becomes the testament of a man who never fit in except by learning to manipulate other people's expectations. A man with no loyalities to anyone but himself.
These days Obama can't even fool all of his own party, let alone the full electorate. Having won by harnessing the power of the insurgent left which demonized the Conservative wing of the Democrat Party, Obama found himself stuck with a conservative revolt along with his campaign supporters and their sexist tactics. When Obama tried to race McCain to the center, all he did was infuriate his left wingnuts base which views any deviation from dogma in Stalinist terms. The same crowd which prepared the gallows for lieberman, Hillary and even Kerry over the war in Iraq don't tend to be the understanding types.
The Obama campaign took the shortcut to power by elevating their candidate into a celebrity and even a minor diety. Doing this however did not make Obama buulletproof as his campaigned might have believed. Obama has campaigned less like a candidate and more like a Hollywood actor, but he has forgotten that celebrities are built up by the media until there is no place to go but down, and then he is torn to shreds. And he has forgotten that dieties are suppose to be perfect and the Man from Chicago with no middle name is anything but perfect.
But being a one trick pony, Obama can't quite change his tactics. Obama continues doing his flip flopping and then goes out and makes a fool of himself. There's only so ways Newsweek and the Huffington Post con cover for you when you insist on retracting your positions a week later and deciding that you're now for the Surge after you were against it, against FISA, for Fisa, for splitting up Jerusalem, then against it, then for it again, waffling on Off Shore Drilling--and truth be told on everything else.
Each time Obama waffles. Each time he announces he's reevaluating a policy. Each time he holds a nother self-righteous press conference or films a cynically manipulative YouTube video. Each time he flips. Each time he Flops. The Republicans win.
Obama is turning out the be the big October Republican surprise.

for Bush & McCain to be 95% alike there would have to be at least 20 issues of which Bush & McCain agreed on 100% on 19 of those to be "factual" as you put it. The only three issues I've heard discussed since the primaries by the MSM is the economy, Iran & Iraq.
Since it's your obsession to brand McCain repeatedly as McSame, McBush, a clone or carbon copy the burden of proof is on your side of the court. Please dig your readers up 17 other issues of which they only disagree on one.
An objective reporter could do so....

Dont worry about Cap. he is a special little fella. He likes to throw out little one liners and pretend like he is being heard. Nobody listens to him, kinda like a knat in your ear, and yes he does suffer from a big case of penis envy. He is one of those sillies that believe Elvis is around here, and 9/11 was an inside job. But he is harmless.
On the other hand everyone on this blog appreciates your service and welcomes you home.

Gee, wasn't the deal that if DPNK gave up their nuke program, Bush said we'd talk with them? And this was before the 143 days of Obie?
Going into Pakistan on "actionable intelligence?" That must mean Shariff is giving tacit approval for it since he can't control that area either. Either way, the more AQ, insurgent, terrorist heads that fall, the less the attraction, fewer leaders, good deal. Military's plan, not Obies. Uh huh, don't hear too much out of Iraq anymore. That "Surge " thingy must be working since we just turned over another province to the Iraqi Army. Wasn't Obie opposed to the surge before he was for it?
more troop deployment to Afghanistan was in the works three months ago with the decrease of violence in Iraq. We now know how to handle the Taliban militarily, it's hearts and minds time after we wipe out the malcontents.

Quite an agenda there. No one is going to stop doing business with China. Even if we did, the Europeans would, it's global economy now stupid.
Companies can move wherever they can get permission to go. You going to boycott those that leave or have the govt. take them over and operate them? Toyota and Honda wouldn't be building cars here if Japan took your attitude would they? How many superfund sites do we currently have and he govt. created how many? We probably pollute less now than at anytime since the industrial revolution.
What monopolies are you going to use your Sherman and Clayton Acts against? We have more regulation than those turn of the century laws and it still does no good. Windfall profits? You mean the profits left after the oil companies spend 75% of their profit on research and other expenses. Yeah, take Waren Buffet's monyey, he will pay no inheritance (death tax to you)taxes since he donated it all to Bill Gates, but then Buffet's your boy for taking it from others, lets take Bill Gates money too ok?
Odd that Enron did 95% of it's crative bookkeeping in the 1990's isn't it? Paul Krugman was a financial advisor for Enron. Not everyone steals like your party. I'm glad there's thousands of differences between McCain and the Democrat left-wing moonbats. Ordinary Dems are not so ideologically lock stepped into the leftist line.
Toodles.
