Does John McCain prepare for any of his interviews? First Joy Behar clowned him and then Ellen DeGeneres took him to school and now Meredith Vieira bats him around. Or as the kids would say, she pwned him (I still don't know why we substitute the "p" for the "o" in that word, but it does sound a little cooler that way).

1. McCain is phoning it in. If elected he will be another pseudo-president, a Ronnie Reagan, a Governor bush, a figurehead.
James Baker wrote that Ronald Reagan would often be presented with a piece of paper on a clipboard. A policy would be distilled down to a few words with a box for, "yes" and a box for, "no." He would be told which box to check.
I wonder if it is true that, in captivity, McCain's nickname was, "Songbird."

2. I liked McCain during the 2000 primaries, hated what Rove did to him and his family in South Carolina and was appalled to see him kis up to the powers in order to be the nominee. The republicans haven't had anyone who thinks for themselves as president since Nixon. Figureheads all.

7. To Bad the general public is dumber than McCaine and will vote for him , like they did Bush ..sad . I remember chatting with people on line when Bush wasnt Pres yet they held him up so High and all the republicans fought for his Honor ,, I hope they are in the debt the rest of us are in I got the last laugh hope it doesnt happen again with McCaine hes Too Old school let him retire....

9. Wow. You and I saw different interviews. What I saw was Viera constantly interruping on of the TWO Presidential nominees, and even talk over him on a couple of occasions. If you watch Today regularly, you can see that Viera is high on something most of the time.
It's no wonder Al and Matt despise her. She has destroyed their show by acting the fool. Of course, you always admire the fools, Cenk. I read your column regularly because I just get a kick at how ignorant you constantly are.

10. I have a suggestion. Why not do your blog wearing a cheerleading outfit and pompoms with an Obama shirt. Why not do it cheerleading style and start with "give me an O." It might be difficult to do with your head so far up Obama's ass, but i know you can do it if you try.

11. I didn't see the interview by Vieira & my video feed sucks on my computer at the moment. I can only take so much bias.
Cenk loves to state over & over someoene is "owned". Superiority complex I would assume.
Obama on the other hand from the clips I saw looked like a fish out of water. He struts off his secure jet with his shades on like a star is born, look at me.
Sitting across the different heads of state he looked like a little giddy kid. All smiles with his legs crossed shaking his head in approval. "Yes we can".
He's of the opinion Iraq needs to be "politicized" more than what it is. He'd probably do the country a service by keeping his pandering thoughts to himself. Throw Maliki a bone, but the mop up mission in Iraq still has strong military implications that the rock star doesn't get.
Has anyone seen him salute? He does a split like James Brown comes up into a full pirouette clicks his heels. The guy gets a ten on style. "Whaaow, I feel good"! "I got you"

While I'll agree that McCain will never win an award for dynamic speaking, I hardly think the pointed-aggressive/interruptive treatment (as opposed their fawning/scripted approach for Barack) from Obama lapdogs like Viera gives even a remote representation of substance. No shock that Stank and his lackeys can't make the distinction.
I'll take substance over transparent, media-created frenzy any day. And for Obama's magic- orator skills? I guess we won't see this one in an Err America Report: The messiah without his script...
