Does John McCain prepare for any of his interviews? First Joy Behar clowned him and then Ellen DeGeneres took him to school and now Meredith Vieira bats him around. Or as the kids would say, she pwned him (I still don't know why we substitute the "p" for the "o" in that word, but it does sound a little cooler that way).
Someone tell John McCain he needs to wake up before these interviews -- or come up with policies that he can actually defend. Watch him get dismantled by Vieira here:

HAH HAH McSame Flip flops so much that Crocs is buying stock in him.
But here's your "Man with experience...?!?" - a man who doesn't know the geography of the countries we fight?
A man who doesn't know the difference between Shia and Sunni?
The man who thinks Germany is run by Vladimir Putin?
The man who can't remember that the Czech Republic is a country?
The man who could even remember which football team he recited when he was a POW in VN, fer crissiakes?
You lame-brain anti-intellegence clowns need to start practicing these two words. "President." "Obama."

In November 2003, John McCain Was Only One Of Three Republicans To Support A Feinstein Amendment That Would Have Closed The So-Called “Enron Loophole.” Then-Senator Jon Corzine (D-NJ) Joined McCain To Vote For This Amendment. “Feinstein, D-Calif., amendment no. 2083 that would require the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission to promulgate regulations establishing an electronic information system to facilitate price transparency and participation in markets subject to the agency’s jurisdiction. It also would prohibit “round trip” trades, which generate profit without any commodity actually changing hands, and it would increase criminal and civil penalties for violations of the Federal Power Act and general penalties of the Natural Gas Act.” (H.R. 2673, CQ Vote #436: Rejected 41-56: R 3-48; D 37-8; I 1-0, 11/5/03. McCain Voted Yea)
The earliest I've heard of Obama mentioning speculative interests having an affect on rising prices was less than a month ago. Which one of his 300 advisors alerted him that issue was good political fodder? Perhaps just another Obama epiphany. You say he's ahead of the curve, I say he's behind. McCain was FOUR yrs ahead of him!
I gave you two illustrations that the senate was FINALLY moving ahead listening to the voice of the voters, this is based on their piss poor approval rating, not one single thing you've put forth as a new revelation to part of the problem because of your lovefest with Obama.
As soon as the senate cleared the way with a UNANIMOUS 94-0 vote (repeating myself) clearing the way for legislation effectively eliminating the essence of the ENRON LOOPHOLE Clifford, Pelosi immediately starts to undermine a bi-partisan effort to enlist all types of energy development.

Most Democrats — and their allies in the environmental movement — are opposed to lifting offshore restrictions. But enough of them have indicated they would defect for the GOP side to prevail on a simple up-or-down vote requiring only a margin of one to win. Democrats are, in effect, filibustering that — requiring 60 votes instead of 51 to prevail.
Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., won't let the House or any of its committees or subcommittees allow a vote on offshore drilling. She and other Democrats say the oil companies should first look to areas offshore and in Alaska where drilling is already allowed.
Senate Appropriations Committee Chairman Robert Byrd, D-W.Va., joined her Tuesday, reversing course and calling off a vote planned for Thursday on a bill funding the Interior Department rather than lose a committee vote to Republicans on lifting the moratorium on new drilling on the Outer Continental Shelf.>>>
The last time I checked Pelosi isn't a qualified geologist to ascertain where the richest fields are to explore. If the problem is today (which it is) common logic says to drill where the deposits are richest for faster yields. Oil exploration is an EXPENSIVE PROCESS unlike Saudi fields where you can stick a straw in the sand & suck it out. The idea is to extract oil fast enough to make a difference in today's pricing, not tapping unknown specifically low yielding fields. If the experts say it's more ideal, trade the leased lands for more productive, who really gives a damn other than the same group of activists that for 30 yrs have caused the problem to begin with??
This is why I say liberals like yourself are dangerous. You could care less about the inner workings that deny even the voice of your own party.
Liberals' judgment is clouded in unnecessary protectionism. Overkill Clifford, that doesn't define the real issues & will cause far more harm in the future affecting the fiscal good spilling over into their coveted social programs.
You consider this Obama's insight. It's anything but.... He's clueless

then he flipflopped, didn'he?. He's against it now.
The mcsame has no position of consistency going back that far. Try another one, if you want. He will be different now, and NOW is what we're voting about!
Then you try more of this:

gave you two illustrations that the senate was FINALLY moving ahead listening to the voice of the voters, this is based on their piss poor approval rating, not one single thing you've put forth as a new revelation to part of the problem because of your lovefest with Obama.

I heard Nancy Pelosi at length a few days ago on congress' performance. The piss poor approval ratings are from republican blockage. If you doubt that, watch and see how many are coming back.
Now, as to what Pelosi said, legislation regarding all aspects of government that have passed the HR have either been filibustered by republicans and killed or vetoed. You want disapproval ratings, that generated them.
I don't really care about the rest of your post because voters don't but here's what the mcbush would bring you.
The Phil Gramm plan - he's STILL their chief economic planner. You get the mcsame, you get unregulated oil speculation since HE implemented it and more mortage crises because HE implemented what we have, and as far as the mcbush is concerned, you're a whiner.
Additionally, there will be more tax breaks for corporations, and we'll borrow more from communists and arabs to float it, and your children will pay for it. There will be occupation in Iraq and war with Iran. Afghanistan will fall again to the Taliban and Bin Laden will remain at large.
Gas will go sky high despite drilling anywhere or everywhere to sell crude to the chinese.
That is the NOW, not the mcsame position several flippity flops ago.
Offshore and wildlife preserve drilling for oil that will go mainly to China, 103 million acres they are presently SANDBAGGING left undeveloped will stay undeveloped until they drive the price up to $300 a barrel, and a change if at all in oil prices of a few cents, maybe in ten years, maybe.
If you want an argument with yourself, go ahead, but your opening was typical foxfart and it went downhill from there.
If you buy all that, you're a 15 percenter or so. I'm seeing that you all are becoming more desperate by the week, but why a return to sanity in government is such a threat to you I can't imagine. Presumably you've at least been alive and somewhat aware these past eight years, at least.

55. Clifford, go fuck yourself
You offer more hypothesis & speculation.
You're the one repeatedly ranting about the Enron loophole, check your past 200 posts! You started about the time Obama suggested it was a resolution. Your oversight of the corrupt trading during the Clinton yrs. dismisses Clinton of any wrongdoing. He signed the electronic trading bill as one of his last presidential actions! You'll never hear me defend Phil Gramm on that issue, McCain should separate from him for all time. In the meantime get me a payroll slip where Gramm is being paid by the McCain camp next month, more conjecture! Let me guess, Olberman told you this? The point was being made you're of the opinion Obama articulated speculative trading as being a major culprit. Anything but! Read how you rely on his wisdom in your first post! Sometimes you sound like you're vying to be a high priest in Obama's new religious sect.
I showed you current events in action trying to eliminate that part of the equation & it's presence contributing to pricing issues in oil trading. You reject that with excuse making & deflecting the facts. Your stance is to protect what Pelosi & the hard lefties failures are. Republicans have a valid opinion too Clifford. You lose credibility for that attempt.
Oil going to 300 p/bbl?
We can take your word on this? WTF man! It might even be non existent in another 30 yrs if we follow yours & democrats recommendations. You've been tuning in too long to "Air Chavez" Clifford. Have you become a pimp for him now? What do you think about his pact with Putin? The lines are being drawn in the sand & you're oblivious! What if OPEC cuts us off in the future Clifford? What if China does become the highest bidder & we're deemed insignificant? Where do we get those resources from then? Like I said, you're oblvious! Let's rely on wind power to drive a D9 caterpillar!
Pelosi says Congress's ratings are because of republicans. Pelosi's approval rating is lower than Bush's. I give a shit what Nancy Pelosi has to say. You show how out of touch you are by listening to the likes of her & the Hardball crowd.
Don't respond Clif, you make me ill as hell with your myopic views of the world. As far as I'm concerned you & your candidate only equivocate resourceful measures to repair what we've all played a part in undoing. I get a strong feeling you haven't prepared in life & it's everyone else's fault. I'll go down with my ship, go down with yours!
You blame the state of affairs on whoever you like, I know the score, I think for myself & I've survived well within the legal confines of what's been laid out so far.
The change you want is for losers who can't cut it....

'don't think I haven't tried' (Slaughterhouse Five)
You offer more hypothesis & speculation.
xxxx
No, that's what you want it to be.
I offer what the mainstream news outlets offer about unanimously daily. You're shooting the messenger.
McSames senior economic adviser is still phil gramm, and he engineered the deregulation of banks and lending institutions AND the Enron Loophole.
Those are facts you can check anywhere. You're just shooting the messenger.
And *of course* the mcbush has to be against the enron loophole with its author as the senior economic strategist.
He said you're all whiners, but he's still gonna make you whine some more - nothing's changed in the mcbush economic policy.
You act like only republicans can have an engineering report on oil reserves. And you act like drilling would change prices and regulating speculation wouldn't when you see the price fluctuate daily and you must know we have no refineries built and the oil whenever it's refined will be sold to the highest bidder on the open market.
That is not hypothesis nor is it speculation. It is the topic of every newscast I've seen and heard and there's no real disagreement with any of it. You're just shooting the messenger.
And the message is if we start reclaiming government, this is all curable eventually. Gas prices would drop and considerably. We've been down the windfall profits tax road before and it worked at the pump. Big oil hated it and anyone told by big oil to hate it but it worked at the pump.
And mcsame did flipflop on the enron loophole as has also been reported on all news nets. In 2003, Obama was not yet elected to the senate.
What the appeal of more bush is is beyond me, but be careful what you wish for.

black and white thinking again, bobby. I didn't say they didn't exist, I said I preferred the curves.
let me put it Sir Winston's way: a life unchallenged isn't worth living.
By the way, some of the people who are losers and can't cut it are babies, and unless there is some kind of leveling done between them and whatever corporate america has when they're adults, they won't be able to cut it and they will lose.
They are also our future. If ever I heard some corporate government apologist say 'well, I guess we have enough power now' I'd feel encouraged, but if they ever get those feelings, they switch parties.
You may be in everything for yourself and not give a damn about your country or your fellow citizens, but there are subsequent generations and they shouldn't have to pay for your party's excesses and indiscretions and unless constitutional government and sanity is restored they're going to.

I understood damned good & well what you meant Clifford, my meaning was my perception of you. You're wound way too tight in a non flexing private world of your own choking in your own lifestyle in that tight little circle being your mindset.
I don't need McCain or Obama to succeed within our system. I follow whichever rules are in place & achieve as much as I can within those guidelines.
It becomes apparent to me you're almost desperate for a "change" to benefit you. If that's what it takes for you to succeed in life maybe you need to rewrite your priorities. Perhaps it's too late? I flex & plan ahead for bad times. You're the one constantly bitching about past inconveniences of gov't showing you couldn't cut it. This is the most critical time I've ever faced but I'm not complaining, I believe in "me" along with the system that hasn't always been kind to me & millions of others who just hunker down & show true grit.
Before you twist my words when I say "me", that means individual responsibility that oils the larger machine.
Liberals like yourself gum up every cog, prosperity is evil because you held it in protest your whole life & now winter is fastly approaching. I see the reason for panic in your words.
When you run with the pack your whole life in the end there's nothing left but to blame....
