It consistently amazes me when BO's ability to read a speech from a teleprompter is equated with his supposed wisdom and grasp of every problem facing the world while GW Bush who has seen us through a recession and an attack on this country a little more than 1 1/2 years into his presidency is painted as a buffoon because he can't follow the telepromppter. In contrast, when Bush speaks at events without prompting, he has given some of his most eloquent speeches as opposed to Obama's stuttering, halting, at times incoherent rhetoric.

If Obama were to be attacked and savaged by the media as well as the right as Bush has been by the left, he would fold like a paper doll. The leftists would have everything that has gone wrong in the world as having no antecedents from any events that occurred prior to his becoming president.

It's documented that Al Qaida planned 9-11 for five years yet the left conveniently forgets that 3 1/2 of those years were under the Clinton administration. It's documented that Clinton was informed of Bin-Ladin's location on more than one occaision, but was not taken under our control because there was no "legal" reason to do so, yet there was enough reason to send several hundred cruise missles in an attempt to kill him so was that "legal?"

Much is made of Clinton's success in Bosnia, the Czech republic war that resulted in a bombing campaign from 17,000 ft. that managed to hit the Chinese Embassy among others with damage reports exaggerated and mismanaged enough to get Gen. Wesley Clark removed from command.

Now that Iraq is coming more and more stable, Barack decides it's a good time to visit and make nice with Al Maliki who will play him like a cheap violin, telling him what he wants to hear. We then get the BO European Tour where he gets to hob nob with all the politicos, but cannot find time to visit troops in Landsthul who are recovering from injuries received in Iraq and Afghanistan. Why, every senator that wanted to go has been admitted but BO turned down the opportunity maybe because there were no photo ops allowed?
His comments on the Berlin Airlift showed no knowlege of history...many pilots flew in bad weather, many of them died from it, but it was not as much a source of pride for BO as it was to point out all the supposed shortcomings of America as though the very country he was speaking in has a partiularly unpleasant past. His reference to the wall in N. Ireland falling wasn't mentioned, its still up and longer. These words used in his speech in Berlin "This is our moment. This is our time." were taken word for word from a Bono concert in 2005. I guess plagarism is allowed for the "Messiah" to which he was also referred.

In closing, its not whether McCain will be anything like Bush, its "Who is Barack Hussein Obama and what qualifications other than 143 days in the Senate, on a Committee he does not belong to, a voting record of no consequnce while he was there. He has written two books, one on his father, yet he never saw him until after his death, the other could be titled "My Struggle" in content. He wrote hardly anything for the "Harvard Law Review" despite holding a high position on that paper.
His associates, Rev. Wright, Bill Ayers et al are no what I would call proponents of America so again I ask, will the real BO stand up and tell us just what he will do to get the yoke of government off the backs of common americans and how he will provide for the future of this country instead of just "hoping?"

As you know I am not a very political person. I just wanted to
pass along that Senator Obama came to Bagram Afghanistan for about an hour
on his visit to "The War Zone". I wanted to share with you what happened. He
got off the plane and got into a bullet proof vehicle, got to the area to
meet with the Major General (2 Star) who is the commander here at Bagram. As
the Soldiers where lined up to shake his hand he blew them off and didn't
say a word as he went into the conference room to meet the General. As he
finished, the vehicles took him to the ClamShell (pretty much a big top tent
that military personnel can play basketball or work out in with weights) so
he could take his publicity pictures playing basketball. He again shunned
the opportunity to talk to Soldiers to thank them for their service. So
really he was just here to make a showing for the American's back home that
he is their candidate for President. I think that if you are going to make
an effort to come all the way over here you would thank those that are
providing the freedom that they are providing for you.
I swear we got more thanks from the NBA Basketball Players or the
Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders than from one of the Senators, who wants to be
the President of the United States. I just don't understand how anyone would
want him to be our Commander-and-Chief. It was almost that he was scared to
be around those that provide the freedom for him and our great country. If
this is blunt and to the point I am sorry but I wanted you all to know what
kind of caliber of person he really is. What you see in the news is all
fake.

IMO McCain should be exposing Obama's weakness in foreign policy by pointing out the type issue I mentioned.

The left is now saying Bush is also playing on Obama's policies by re-opening a consulate in Tehran. This type of development with Ahmadinejad's blatant announcement should offer proof of the futility of negotiations which Obama of course says would be fruitful.

If six of the most influential nations on the face of the earth can't dissuade him, I wonder what kind of magical skills Obama plans for doing the job.

McCain needs to be more forceful debunking Obama's self proclaimed prophecies.
