The issue of illegal immigration continues to be a never-ending tangled web of complexity that has remained on the minds of politicians for decades. Several attempts at immigration regulation, and countless proposed policies have failed to yield favorable results. However, with more than 12 million undocumented immigrants currently living in the United States, leaders in Washington think they have come up with the best answer: Voluntary Deportation!
The Immigration and Customs Enforcement Agency (ICE) will encourage all illegal immigrants to leave the country voluntarily, and the incentive to do so is basically nothing. All self-deporting immigrants would be granted a few weeks to pack their belongings and leave the country without spending any time in detention facilities.
There will be a formal announcement of the program next week.
Ali Noorani, Executive Director of the National Immigration Forum, released the following statement in response to the ICE program:
"Just when you thought the Bush Administration would ride quietly into the sunset, along comes another harebrained scheme that can't have been carefully thought out. We are not going to deport our way out of our current deportation mess, nor is it likely that most, or even many of the estimated 12 million undocumented immigrants here will choose to leave on their own."
I have to admit I agree with Noorani. Does the Bush Administration truly believe undocumented immigrants without criminal records would turn themselves into immigration authorities to go back to a country they ran away from? More importantly, why would they do so with no real incentive? The closest thing the Bush Administration has achieved in terms of "voluntary deportation" is creating an economy so terrible that many are probably thinking about leaving regardless of the new ICE program.

Oklahoma already an immigration law that is self deporting. IT WORKS. But of course you know that. You know that there is a viable immigration law that encourages self deportation and it is working in Oklahoma. The law has withstood a legal challenge for the ACLU, but of course you know that to.
So why this stupid atricle? Are you in favor of all illegal immigrants staying in this country? Do you favor Obuma giving free medical coverage to all illegal immigrants as he is proposing as part of his full medical coverage plan?
Oklahoma passed a law with two types of provisions against illegal aliens in
the state. It will penalize businesses which hire illegal aliens, with
denials of licenses to operate for repeat offenses. It will also penalize
owners of rental property who knowingly rent to illegal aliens. Illegal aliens must present a valid SS Number before they can work. Legal immigrants have no problem with this, illegal's do.

Then, having found out he was wrong, he acknowledged it in a following post but qualified it.
Okane also said there was no verification that Rex Tomb of the F.B.I. said that Bin Laden hasn't been charged with 9-11 because there is "no hard evidence" against Bin Laden.
That was proven wrong. Not only has Tomb's statement been confirmed by Tomb himself, but Tomb ELABORATED on the remarks, explaining the process of obtaining an indictment.
Okane is lying. Nothing new. The 19 percenters don't know truth from fiction. Basically the 19 percenters are dumbed down sociopaths.

The paste of the Guardian states twice, your source, that the Talibam offered UBL to a "Third Country" and "To a Neutral Country", but your source never stated Taliban would turn UBL over to US authorities as YOU STATE.
Tomb never verified what was said he said. Your only source for Rex Tomb making that statement is what "Muckraker Report" states
Muckraker Report, great source CN. A telephone call by a Muckraker reporter to an FBI tele number, and reported says he talked to Tomb and that was the whole basis for your repeated Rex Tomb BS. No proof FBI was called, no proof even Tomb was talked to, no proof or verification Tomb said no hard evidence.
Unverified phone call. Rex Tomb never verified he talked to Muckraker and said that there was no Hard Evidence against UBL.
If you have a source Rex Tomb verifing what he said to Muckraker, show it.

There's nothing in there indicating that ICE or the Bush Administration consider it a "solution" to the immigration problem. It runs for a limited time in limited communities. It looks to be more a reaction to criticism over the "harshness" of ICE's method of rounding up and deporting illegals than anything.
I don't think it would be overly surprising to see ICE step up raids after the 8/26 end date for the program.
Once again, a fraction of a story presented and questionable conclusions drawn.

I referenced one of many articles which details the above fact.
F.B.I. spokesman Rex Tomb said that 9-11 is not mentioned on bin Laden's "Wanted" page because there is no hard evidence linking bin Laden to 9-11. I posted a link to that "Wanted" page so that anyone can see for themselves that 9-11 is not mentioned.
You said there was only one source for that quote. I proved you wrong. I referenced "I.N.I. World News," which interviewed Rex Tomb. Rex Tomb confirmed that he made that statement and then ELABORATED on his own statement, briefly detailing the process of obtaining an indictment and confirming the lack of evidence.
Your lies have been exposed on all counts, Okane. You're just counting on the fact that nobody cares enough about our little dispute to check it out. Facts are alien to your ilk anyway.
