Mo's Bio
Mo Rocca appears on a bunch of shows, including CBS News Sunday Morning (with the indescribably wonderful Charles Osgood), The Tonight Show on NBC, and NPR's Wait Wait... Don't Tell Me! He's a sometime judge on Iron Chef and was featured on Telemundo's Amore Descarado. Last year he starred on Broadway in the 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. His expose "All the President's Pets" was published by Crown in 2004.

1. Well, those were enjoyable..brought back memories. Actually, the most sexist one to me seemed like the Got Milk? ad - milk helps with PMS? Also, the ad did not look very old. The rest of them are really just products of their time. And in the Flintstones ad, Wilma was cutting the grass, not Fred. Sounds like they were a family ahead of the women's movement.

3. sexy commercials? it would be nice if not a mircle if they place more programming between the endless commercials. for we few that still bother to watch network television. maybe better yet, develop all commercial cable network. that runs 24/7

Unfortunately these days most of the sexist commericals feature what my husband and I call the "Dumb white guy" --amazed by blue toilet water, who can barely function without a smart wife to show him what to do. If I were a man I'd find this syndrome just as upsetting as I used to find the dumb or PMS women characters.
