How Can Barack Satisfy Hillary?
Then again, there are hypotheticals that can be posited for any imaginable outcome:
If Chris Dodd had saved a woman who'd fallen into one of Cedar Rapids' famous grain silos, then he might very well have won the caucuses.
If every other candidate had been bedridden with mono for the three months preceding Iowa, then Mike Gravel might have become the nominee.
If Barack Obama had been attacked by a shark while campaigning on the shores of Iowa's Lake Okoboji, he likely would have pulled out of the campaign, handing a victory to John Edwards in the caucuses. (Then, by the time Edwards' infidelity was revealed, a recovered one-armed Obama would make the perfect comeback story!)
Whatever the legitimacy of the Clinton campaign's complaints, there clearly is not peace among Democrats. Although Obama is now offering Hillary the keynote speaking slot on the convention's Tuesday, Hillary still has not said she won't seek a roll call vote. And the prospect of the roll call vote would weaken Obama, no doubt. Bill Clinton's refusal to say that Obama is prepared to be President hurts him more.
So what is Hillary holding out for? She got almost as many votes as he did, so she should hold out for a big parting gift. My recommendation:
Promise her the first opening in the Supreme Court. Seven incumbent senators have been moved directly to the Supreme Court - the most recent in 1945 - so there's precedent. Don't we all remember in 1992 being told ad nauseum how Hiillary was one of America's 100 most influential lawyers? Even if that was hype, she's certainly smart enough.
Then Hillary will have served in the Executive (sort of), Legislative and Judicial branches. That's pretty nifty.
But enough of about what I think. What do other people think Barack should offer Hillary? Watch, then weigh in.

1.
This isn't a sexual question is it?
There will be more rewards to come for Hillary if she toes the line. Will it be a cabinet post, or a supreme court judge reward?

2. ENOUGH, ENOUGH, ENOUGH of Hillary. She's OUT, KAPUT, FINITO, GONZO'D, So why keep mentioning her?
She thinks she can still be president! She's a clueless wonder.

3. How Can Barack Satisfy Hillary??? I didn't know that they were that close!

4. It's very easy to make light of the hypotheticals and the should-haves could-haves when it is not YOU. Hilary and her supporters have a right to be upset that AS USUAL, the BOYS CLUB played the games necessary to keep her out. How effective would Edwards' endorsement of Obama have been had we known about his affair? His endorsement was at a CRITICAL time, and with the media and DNC calling for unity and one designate, other super-delegates started to jump ship and swam over to Barack. So yes, we have a right to note the OBVIOUS since we have no choice but to accept Obama or vote McCain!

5. Obama could admit he's a muslim and drop out. That'd make Hillary happy.

6. It's really becoming a stupid affair to continue talking about a loser in a contest. Early in 2007 both Rudy Guilliani and Hillary Clinton were leading their respective parties in the polls. Both Mccain and Obama started somewhere around the third position in those polls. Since then both Obama and Mccain have won their respective primaries. Those higher polled candidates like Mitt Romney and Rudy Guilliani made strategic and tactical errors in their campaigns and lost. None of these candidates are being talked about today except Hillary and for what? Her stupid supporters that couldn't even contribute $5 to help her pay off her debt are making noise because she didn't win. I guess in their world it would have been alright if Obama had given her the win. To those, I say, that was old America. In today's America to some extent, you don't let people steal your win or your hard work from you as it had been in this country for centuries. It's bad for a white woman to lose but it would have been alright for a non-white person to lose. There was a rule set up by the DNC and signed off by all the candidadtes including Hillary. Obama did not make Hillary lose, Hillary made Hillary lose. Even if both Michigan and Florida were counted full strength, Hillary would have still lost, so what's all this hoopla about. Obama doesn't need to do sh*t for Hillary just like McCain is not doing sh*t for Rudy Guilliani and others. Hillary didn't win for Obama, Obama won for Obama, so everybody should stop whining and throw their support for Obama who has done more and will still do more for women's issues than McCain can and will ever do in his lifetime.

7. Where there is smoke, there is fire, therefore someone need to confirm the rumors regarding an Obama affair with a male person that may have been eliminated to keep quiet. I would hate to wait until later to find all this out??????
Ann at 5:36PM on Aug 11th 2008
8. Obama can satisfy Hillary when he admits that she is perfect and the only one worthy of serving as our leader. Fat chance of that happening. Hillary's spin team is still hard at work trying to change their reality. She lost. If Edwards affair was announced, it would have hurt Hillary. Change would have won the day in a landslide. Wolfson has an unrestricted mic, but he doesn't have the unrestricted truth. Hillary lost due to her war position, the irratic campaign, her tears, the race card and she just lost. Nobody ever challenged Hillary in a political race before. She was not inevitable. All this speculation is wrong. Hillary could have unleashed "Camel Toe Power" and won, but nobody is sharing this lie. Wolfson is wrong.

Barack should offer Hillary ankle reduction surgery. Then she could wear that cute little sundress the last lady in your interview was talking about.

10. There are sharks in lakes? I know about snapping turtles, who live for 50 years or more, but sheesh! What's a toe compared to a major appendage! (define 'appendage' as you may)

11. Stop all this nonsense. Obama Hussein does not have a chance in hell of ever becoming the first black president in the history of this country. Too soon for that. It will happen but only when the blacks become the majority in this country. How long is that going to take? At least one hundred years. Some of his hired hands are spreading the rumor that he is white. Well, I'm not color blind and he doesn't look white to me. The man is black (nothing wrong with that) and he is a muslim. Now being a muslim aspiring to become the president of the United States!!! Those that died during the 9/11 attack would be rolling over in their graves. Call a spade a spade and leave it at that. Despite all the media frenzie and the polls, etc., etc., when the white people walk in those booths in November to vote, 90% will vote McCain and that will be more than enough to elect John McCain as our next president.
Oliver at 7:00PM on Aug 11th 2008
12. People listen. Do you want a black president or not? Simple. I don't and that's why I'll vote for John McCain. The "spinners" keep trying to say that this campaign isn't and shouldn't be about race. What's the matter are we all hypocrits? Of course the blacks will vote for their candidate and you know what? More power to them. The issues during this election don't mean anything because neither McCain nor Obama Hussein can do anything about the price of the gazoline or the trade deficit or the domestic economy. This is a capitalist nation and a free society. There are good times and there are bad times. I've lived through at least 6 recessions. We allways pull out to better times. Do we want to trash our constitution and become socialists or communists? I don't think so. My friends this race is all about race and that's nothing wrong with that either. Peace. McCain for president.

13. You ask, "how can B.O. satisfy Hillary", how about a few hours at a 4 star hotel paid for by us taxpayers since morality, virtue and honor is non existant to politicians and some people think their personal sex lives are none of our business.

I don't think anyone wants to read my thoughts on this one....I'll refrain from adding my 2 cents !
hint: it's sexual in nature....??

15. HIllary is a LESBIAN!!!! There is nothing that Barak has that can satisfy Hillary. And why should he try anyway? She LOST!! The lesbian lost and she needs to pick up her balls and go home and shut up and stop whining. When is the media going to investigate HER affairs with all the WOMEN???Instead of concentrating on John Edwards, let's get some real juicy details...but then video of Janet Reno and Hillary Clinton naked on you tube might not be extremely appealing. Bring the details out in the open anyway!!! Stop pushing the issue of Hullary's lesbianism under the rug.
