Military.com blogger Anita Doberman interviewed Michelle Obama for Babble, and found out all about her wise take on work-home balance and her addiction to French fries. One of the most interesting tidbits: Hillary gave her parenting advice!
How are the children taking all the changes, and do you try to insulate them?
Barack and I are very proud of the way the girls have handled themselves during this campaign. Luckily, they're still at an age where they're not that concerned with what's happening with the campaign.

2. I can imagine it is not easy to bring up children in the harsh glare of politics. I think the Obama's kids would be the youngest in the White House (if it comes to that) since the Kennedys. And despite what you may think of the Clinton's, they seem to have done a good job with Chelsea.

4. I love when working moms admit that our number one job is mom. We used to have to hide this from employers to keep our credibility up but maybe now we can feel free to say being a mom comes first, knowing that this doesn't take away from our ability to do our professional work effectively too. I love that she used the term Mom-in-Chief, the title of my book coming out in February! This really gives status to the often trivialized work of mom!
