There's been talk about how video games aren't so bad for kids after all, and now here's a case in point: MyWebTimes (via GayGamer) reports that eleven-year-old Audrey Plique saved her family from a car crash because of what she'd learned from Grand Theft Auto:Karen Norris, of Streator, will say no such thing. Not after her quick-witted 11-year-old daughter, Audrey Plique, sprung to the rescue of their family because a popular video game showed a potential danger of a vehicle rollover.
"She just knew, from playing 'Grand Theft Auto.' She saw on there that when a car rolls over, it can blow up. She knew that could happen to us," Norris said.
So she got her parents and siblings out of the wrecked car single-handedly.
Quick, someone start programming more safety tips into those video games! In between shooting drug dealers and stealing cars, avatars should have to practice CPR and construct splints.

1. OH, I believe it.
Just the other day, my son shot a police officer for walking acroos thew street when he was waiting to go. It's OK, he sped away and the cops stopped chasing him after he ducked into a garage....OR was he just playing a game??

2. The exploding overturned cars are just a gameplay mechanic, and a gimmick from action films -- it really doesn't work like that. This is a bullshit story. Helping people out of a wrecked car needs no such excuse.
