This one can be called: When Republicans Attack.
We were having a perfectly civil debate until this man took exception to the idea that George Bush might have not responded to Hurricane Katrina well. He then got up and knocked down some of our equipment. Watch it here:

16. Both McCain and Palin make a good team and demonstrate that the both care.
As Americans, there is truly only one race and that is the human race. Together, in this election we need to KEEP AMERICA FIRST and vote John McCain.
I believe McCain/ Palin's trip to the hurricane zone, where Katrina once hit, is evidence that McCain and Governor Palin care about the average person like us I am definitely voting fore McCain. I feel like he can be trusted. Meanwhile the "detached" Obama makes snide and critical remarks from a distance.
Most American's DO NOT favor abortion. Nor do they wish to align themselves with factions dedicated in butchering innocent babies inside and outside the womb. And NO, that baby is NOT the women's body; it is a separate body with a separate heartbeat and separate brain activity. And YES, the unborn baby FEELS PHYSICAL PAIN as it is being ripped out of what should be the safest place on earth - mother's womb!
The Planned Parenthood abortionists lie to young women all the time just to get their money, while those ex-mothers and ex-fathers suffer emotional distress as they realize everyday that they have just allowed a child killer to convince them, not only to take their money, but also to kill their precious little baby. Abortion STOPS A BEATING HEART and the future of a civilization.
People weep and wail over the loss of a High School football player destined for a great professional career who had been gunned down by a random shooter, but yet we will never know the great deficit future generations will suffer for the loss of over 50 million innocent babies in this country alone. Shame on America for tolerating this horror ... and shame on its citizens for tolerating their personal complacency. Pro-choice is a lie - Babies do not choose to die!
Away with this archaic freakish, barbaric practice! It will soon be done away with, along with these fake pro-abortion polling numbers! As long as the president chooses judicial nominees his Vice-president better be pro-Life if he is ever going to win an election.

This is why the majority of American's do not think the Democrat Party is credible and cannot lead this great country when they invent bizarre claims like this against Sarah Palin.
Now I know why people call them the LOOOOOOOONY LEFT! I can't believe that I was duped as a teen to join the Democrat Party as we were influenced by MTV and Hollywood to "ROCK the VOTE to elect Bill Clinton. But as I grew up, I discovered the truth and made the pursuit for it my life’s objective.
It goes to show you, "You cannot trust a person who does not believe in the absolute truth." So there goes the fallacy of relativism out the door of reality.
By the way here is the proof that Trig is Sarah Palin's own son.

18. Pick one Bobby.
Forcefully remove the previous residents of the ward and turn them out on the street to fend for themselves.
Let them move back into the ward knowing that it will have the most flooding should it occur again.
Remove the residents and compensate them so they can start over some where else, either in NO, the state, or elsewhere.

19. >>>14. read david brinkley's The Great Deluge (tulane university), transcripts of emails and phone calls include:
that a mistake in protocol was purposely used to delay katrina response with the expressed purpose of discrediting gov. blanco so as to ensure that the next governor would be "a republican."
and it states that in no uncertain terms.
according to newspapers in India from 5 years ago, Jindal had been already been promised the governorship of Lousiana.
Louis KingofFrance at 11:15AM on Sep 7th 2008>>>
Louis, that's a pretty neat trick.
Did Brinkley say how Jindal was going to get that governorship?
Bobby at 11:43AM on Sep 7th 2008
20. Somber,
my comments to you centered around your frustration as to why the gov't didn't just hand out "300 grand" to each & every family in the ninth ward.
That's more money than probably 80% of those residents will ever realize in a lifetime. It also resounds with the idea of "let's just sling some money out there to make the hordes happy". That's somewhat belittling & the complexity of making settlements in that area would be of enormous magnitude. Corruption personified if you will.
McCain suggested back in April of knocking down the ninth & it being forever off limits. He was referring to future safety of the residents in general.
Hillary came back & immediately politicized it saying that McCain didn't understand the spirit of the residents that wanted to stay in that crap hole. As usual you have a Dem wanting to appease in an unreliable way to gain votes & discredit a reasonable solution.
You may not have meant exactly what you said but throwing good money at bad isn't a viable solution all the time....

21. bobby-------------if you had any reading comprehension you'd know that the post stated that newspapers in india had headlines saying that jindal had been promised the govenorship, not brinkley's book.
but nice try.
P.S.
the newspapers from India have been framed and hanging on the wall of an Indian restaurant in florida for years now.
brinkley's book containing the transcripts is in libraries.
you obviously dont get around much.

22. palin is boring.
palin's tazer happy family is boring.
palin's stance on abortion is boring.
47% of all american women have at least one abortion, and 18% of those women describe themselves as born again evangelicals-
(medical records)
that palin is part of the corrupt alaskan poltical machine (think Flamingo Road, Alaska)----whoop tee do-----------is boring.
palin is mccain's 10th next choice
Palin was picked at the last minute becuse jindal turned mccain down.
Palin is so boring that she has to be sequestered so they can teach her something interesting to say in public.
paris hilton is whiter than palin.
mccain is boring.
mccain is the Least Humble POW in America, and thats including the ones still around from WW2.
WW2 POW stories make mccain's POW stories sound really very very very boring.
mccain's family of admirals ARE the military industrial complex that brought us vietnam in the first place.
for mccain to get on stage and tell his mother "mama look what daddy did to me" is really boring.
I'm sure his mother slept well that night.
republican's idea of the future is vietnam (40 yrs ago) and reagan ( 28 years ago).
the eisenhowers are bored with mccain.
thats why they were at the obama / biden convention.
McPalin is twice s boring.
their fan base is boring.

Louis the complete doofus,
Your entire topic was under the heading of Brinkley's book statements. You didn't specify I had to know about an obscure newspaper clipping on a Florida restaurant wall. Let me know where the restaurant is so "I can be in the know" Idiot.
Katrina occurred in '05 fool. Your poorly formed conspiracy states the governorship was promised to Jindal FIVE YRS AGO. Get your chronology straight before telling me my reading comprehension is off.
You never answered the question though idiot! Who promised Jindal a governorship & how did they say they were going to appoint him?
Read your own blathering before stepping in shit even deeper.... Flamin' retard

28. If you remember there was a mandatory evacuation order in affect at the time of the landfall of Katrina. Therefore, anyone who didn't leave was not entitled to any help after Katrina and the government helped anyway, the Bush administration helped the people of New Orleans more than had to be. Young Turk, you're a liberal hack, if you thought about the issue and drew a fair conclusion instead of blaming someone, yo might have a better arguement. Ray Nagin the black, repeat black mayor and the Deomcrat Governor were just as much to blame

29. George Bush has been in office for 7 1/2 years. The first six the economy was fine. Just over 1 to1-1/2 years ago:
1) Consumer confidence stood at a 2 1/2 year high;
2) Regular gasoline sold for $2.19 a gallon;
3) the unemployment rate was 4.5%.
4) the DOW JONES hit a record high--14,000 +
5) American's were buying new cars, taking cruises, vacations o'seas, living large!(more than in 20 years)...
But American's wanted 'CHANGE'!
(thats what the media played on). So, in 2006 they voted in a Democratic Congress & yep--we got 'CHANGE' all right!.....
1) Consumer confidence has plummeted (almost straight line since the Dems took over);
2) Gasoline has in one year almost doubled is now over $4 a gallon;
3) Unemployment is up to 5% (a 10-12% increase);
4) Americans have seen their home equity drop by $12 TRILLION DOLLARS & prices still dropping;
5) 1% of American homes are in foreclosure.
6) as I write, THE DOW is probing another low~~11,300--$2.5 TRILLION DOLLARS HAS EVAPORATED FROM THEIR STOCKS,
BONDS & MUTUAL FUNDS INVESTMENT PORTFOLIOS!
7) This Democrat led congress has one of the lowest ratings of all time and has accomplished the least of any ever!
YEP, IN 2006 AMERICA VOTED FOR CHANGE!...AND WE SURE AS HELL GOT IT!!!....NOW the DEM'S CANDIDATE FOR PRESIDENT CLAIMS HE'S GONNA REALLY GIVE US CHANGE!!....JUST HOW MUCH MORE 'CHANGE' DO YA THINK YOU CAN STAND???.....

30. Wow Somber!
I bet you wonder why we had a mortgage crisis as well....
Bobby at 11:10AM on Sep 7th 2008
-------------------------------------------------
My family own a small housing contruction business and I am a realtor. I know exactly why we had a housing crisis! First, under the Clinton administration laws were made which required lenders to find a way to get housing loans to minorities and others who simply could not afford a home loan. This and the low interest rates under the Bush administration brought in a great many homebuyers who simply could not afford loans, but the lenders were still FORCED by law to find a way to get them into a house. Certainly the Bush administration did nothing to correct the laws while Clinton was in office so they have their share of responsibility too. Then the media got wind of a higher number (but not a higher percentage) of homeowners walking away from their mortages and the Democrats in Congress decided that this would be a great election issue. Then Congress started the bailouts and some of those who were making their mortage payments on time decided they would like to take advantage of lenders being forced to lower their interest rates and sometimes forced to forgive some of the borrowers principal! This along with all the investors who took advantage of the new laws and bought up cheap property and rented them out to HUD families then walked away after the properties were trashed, sometimes having made not one single mortage payment in as much as three years! Our laws make it almost impossible to forclose on a house that is under HUD rental. The more the federal government intervened the more people decided to take the easy way out (can't say as I blame them). So there is plenty of blame to go around!
