This one can be called: When Republicans Attack.
We were having a perfectly civil debate until this man took exception to the idea that George Bush might have not responded to Hurricane Katrina well. He then got up and knocked down some of our equipment. Watch it here:

46. WOW!, TYT and Air America are in worse shape than I had thought. Cenk, you can't afford a second camera, or a kid to moonlight from McDonald's and move the camera back and forth for you? Maybe I shouldn't complain....At least you kept yourself out of the frame.

MSNBC shake-up: Olbermann and Matthews no longer anchoring
It looks like Sarah Palin also Stripped some some of the two biggest liberals to a naked ZERO as well. After she single-handedly Stripped both Obama and Biden to a Naked Zero. You can read Palin's speech here.

MSNBC shake-up: Olbermann and Matthews no longer anchoring
Less than two weeks ago, MSNBC president Phil Griffin was still defending the network's anchor team to Politico, despite reports of turmoil behind-the-scenes and on-air squabbles. At the time, a high-ranking MSNBC journalist told me the network was "about to blow up."
Well, here's the blow up! The NY Times reports tonight that Chris Matthews and Keith Olbermann will no longer anchor during upcoming political news events, as network insiders reveal more about what's been happening.
After months of accusations of political bias and simmering animosity between MSNBC and its parent network NBC, the channel decided over the weekend that the NBC News correspondent and MSNBC host David Gregory would anchor news coverage of the coming debates and election night. Mr. Olbermann and Mr. Matthews will remain as analysts during the coverage.
The change — which comes in the home stretch of the long election cycle — is a direct result of tensions associated with the channel’s perceived shift to the political left.
And there's more.
In interviews, 10 current and former staff members said that long-simmering tensions between MSNBC and NBC reached a boiling point during the conventions. “MSNBC is behaving like a heroin addict,” one senior staff member observed. “They’re living from fix to fix and swearing they’ll go into rehab the next week.”
The Times also reports that "Jeff Zucker, chief executive of NBC Universal, and Steve Capus, president of NBC News, considered flying to the Republican convention in Minnesota last week to address the lingering tensions."

49. The problem that I have with Black Republicans is that they sound like dark skinned Ku Klux Klan members. They are first to blame Blacks for ills of America. In that interview, the "Black" woman repeated that Blacks didn't help themselves. She blamed the victims who were left behind. Neither of the "guests" addressed why it took so long for the federal agents to offer assistance. Many people were stuck on rooftops and in trees. There were cadavers all over the place, and then they housed them in a stadium without ice and bedding. It took Bush almost a week to "learn" about the tragedy and then more time later to react. Condelezza Rice was in NYC watching Spamalot and buying shoes while New Orleans was drowning. To this day, no one knows the body count of those lost in that event.
I live near a river town and it has flooded in parts. We have a weak levy system that is always being built-up. Many cities around the country are not immuned to these disasters. But because New Orleans was a largely populated Black city, it appeared that there wasn't a rush to get assistance. I knew people that were driving all over the country to bring blankets, water and other neccessities but were turned back by the national guard. It was the worst tragedy to hit our country, because it was handled/bungled so badly.
Black Republicans should be ashamed of themselves. They are the Benedict Arnolds in our communities. And if they cannot be trusted by their own people, Whites won't have any need for them either.

Rod, no offense, but you don't get it dude,
Floods are logistical nightmares, if you endured that one then you should know as well as anyone.
Power grids are shut down, sewer systems are submerged, water systems are spoiled. All the necessary infrastructure is pretty much relegated to waste.
It takes more time for damage assessment, unknown circumstances are playing out all over the place except they're ten feet under water. The levees were having to be mended. Rioting & looting took away from precious resources needed to really help those in need. It was pretty much our nation's worst ever catastrophe.
I was there after Andrew hit back in '92, it was a war zone. Huey's & Chinooks were coordinated & flying supplies all over the place but they could set down when they got there. Infrastructure was down but crews could clear & reach trouble zones. It was workable, New Orleans wasn't. Same thing applies to the WTC buildings. Concentrated efforts in a few city blocks is far better than widespread devastation over hundreds of square miles.
You're being a little hard on these "black folks". Just because they're Republicans doesn't mean they're wrong or don't have the right to speak their mind. You sound pretty biased to me.
Same things apply to Palin as well. If a black or woman isn't liberal or Democrat, they're a turncoat to a false cause.
You guys suck really bad when it comes to recognizing equal rights. People don't have to have the big "D" plastered all over them to follow their own path of destiny....

51. Rod says: "It was the worst tragedy to hit our country, because it was handled/bungled so badly."
Rod, that would only hold water, so to speak, if this were the first hurricane to ever hit New Orleans. But NE has been pummeled by hurricanes since time began. And the fact that the local government had no effective Disaster Preparedness Plan, is simply criminal. Then when the world sees what an incompetent idiot you are, (Nagin) along with the slimebags who stayed to protect their drug stashes instead of fleeing, it's time to pull out the "racist" card, or the "blame Bush" card. Funny how Nagin now takes things seriously, and was calling the last storm "Gustov" the "mother of all storms." Turned out to be a spring shower, but at least America kept him from sleeping on the job this time. Plus, he didn't want egg on his face a second time. Since this last hurricane fizzled and Nagin cried 'wolf,' he may need a new tactic for the next storm. Maybe walk through the streets, bullhorn in hand, yelling "Free liquor, $2,000 debit cards, and all the "erb" and prostitutes you can handle.... Go to Houston?!"
