Sarah Palin is such a devoted tanner that she purchased a tanning bed for the Governor's mansion. The woman has GOT TO TAN! Let's be realistic here.

2. Ouch?! Puh-leeez!
Cenk, you're really reaching for it here. At least you acknowledged that she spent her own money on it. So what business is it of yours or anyone else's what she buys for herself AND probably her daughters' use. They DO live in Alaska after all.
Edwards doesn't have to have a tanning bed in his house. As a Senator, he probably has enough tans, haircuts, vacations, hookers-in-waiting, and every other perk under the sun waiting for him courtesy of the taxpayers and lobbyists.
Make that "under the UV lights."
Even a good-lookin' lady like Sarah needs a little maintenance.

Another great piece of journalism from the turks. I thought maybe cenk would out do you, but I guess that will never happen.

4. So that is where Biden has been, going for daily trips to the Tanning booth.
Since he cannot match Palin in the polls, maybe he can beat her on the most adorable tan.
Wait, who is running for President.
Almost forgot, McCain vs Hussein Obama.
Obama is so unqualified, there is so little to rite about his qualifications, Cenk and Ana have to fish for stories.
I mean how much can you write about being a community activist without talking about Acorn.
Meanwhile back in the polls, McCain-Obama standings are 48%-47%, as we head down to the home stretch.
How is the story going on Hussein Obama's attempt to delay the return of troops from Iraq so he could gain politically? Someone said that what he did is a violation of the Laogan Act. Is that true?

6. I did not think even you could stoop this low Cerk. Tanning Beds of all the nerve...will you please explain to me how Obama is any more qualified to run for President has anything to do with Sara's qualifications to be VP. Even his ads are lame. We see time and time again that McCain is so Bush, Bush Docturine (interresting but with all of you Libs saying he is an idiot tough to belive) but every time his name comes up with a Democrat on a bill. Oh but Obama's name comes up how many times? How many bills has Obama passed? The anwer? Not many and he has not figured out how to vote present in the US senate. Lame...

7. It was reported that these notes were seen written on the side of a tanning booth.
Obama's disgraceful record on abortion. Obama enabled infanticide while in the Illinois legislature and has been dissembling about it.
David Freddoso, author of the excellent new book, "The Case Against Barack Obama," points out that Obama has repeatedly made the false claim that he only spoke out against an Illinois bill that would have recognized premature abortion survivors as "persons" because it would have negatively affected Roe v. Wade. Yet "every single version of the bill was neutral on Roe. Each one affected only babies already born, not ones in the womb."
Obama's own words, circulating in transcript form and on YouTube, are even more incriminating, as he articulates his opposition to the bill seeking to protect a baby born alive as a result of a botched abortion. "Essentially, adding an additional doctor who then has to be called in an emergency situation to come in and make these assessments is really designed simply to burden the original decision of the woman and the physician to induce labor and perform an abortion."
Translation: Obama will not theoretically burden a woman's right to abort her child, but he will actually burden an already-born infant's chances of surviving.
Obama is so slavishly obedient to the abortion lobby's cultish protection of a woman's right to terminate her own offspring's life, that he opposed measures designed to protect an already-born baby's chances to survive. And you wonder why we say pro-abortion liberals have made abortion a ritualistic religious sacrament!
Some have raised the question, "Are you suggesting Barack Obama wants babies to die? "
Yes, Bob. Barack Obama was the only member of the Illinois Senate to speak against a bill that would have granted legal protection to already-born babies still alive after a failed abortion. He used his power to prevent those innocent babies from having the best chance to survive. The evidence speaks for itself. It doesn't get much colder than that.
The "Born Alive Law" is now in the books at the Federal Level and in the Illinois State Law Books, but no thanks to Obama who did eveything he could to block the Illinois born alive law for becomming a law.

8. Robert OKane,
Thanks for your comment! The Democratic Party rivals Hitler in its disregard for human life! Yes, I said it and it needs repeating that there is another holocaust happening right now; the holocaust of abortion. There have been over 40 million since 1973. Medical science proves that human life begins at conception. There is no way to justify abortion without completely dehumanizing the unborn child. Obama's refusal to protect all children is the reason I oppose him. I will never vote for a pro-abortion candidate! This election is crucial. The Supreme Court is at stake. Two more justices and we can overturn those monstrous decisions, Roe vs. Wade and Doe vs. Bolton which incidentally are opposed by the plaintiffs. I urge all those opposed to abortion to vote McCain/Palin for President!

9. Cenk,
Remember that Sarah Palin took on the crooked Republicans in Alaska, whereas Obama is a part of the crooked Democrats in Chicago.
If you elect Obama, you will have your government answering to the whims of Mayor Richard (Richie) Daley of Chicago, a man who is so dumb that it took him 3 tries to pass the Illinois bar exam, which compared to New York and California, is a pretty easy exam.

11. The point is, that this woman touts herself as a regular "Jane Doe," who spends all her time fighting crime, doing her job and being a good mother. She was defended by one of John McCain's advier's as "Needing the tanning bed to fight depression" common in the Great White North during the long, dark winter months. Uh, if that is the case, then we need a more thorough medical and mental exam of the Alaska Governor.
Also, to Robert Okane - why does every post lead to you ranting about partial-birth abortion? I've worked in labor & delivery for 25+ years, and I've never seen the procedure done, although I've seen cases where it should have been done. It is only done when the baby is ancephalic (has no brain), but has a very large, fluid-filled cranium which can't pass through the birth canal. The only other option is to do a c-section, which is not always possible (if the labor process is too far along), and is a major surgery and of great risk to the mother. Letting this large cranium pass could permanently damage the woman's cervix, preventing her from ever carrying another viable pregnancy to term. Uncle Sam has no place in the delivery room! Let the medical professionals and the patients decide for themselves what to do in these very difficult and painful circumstances.
