Sarah Palin Caught Lying About Energy

Alaskan Governor Sarah Palin claims that she oversees 20 percent of the domestic oil and gas supply. However, it turns out her remarks are not even true. Check out what the reality is in the clip below.

4. Once again, you're game of "Trivial Gotcha" only shows your biased ignorance. Since the early 1980's, Alaska has produced, ON AVERAGE, about 20 percent of our domestic oil and natural gas. In recent years, the annual production has declined, mainly due to liberals in the pocket of "big green". By the way, the term "domestic oil and natural gas" means it is "homegrown" (most neo-coms understand "homegrown"). Perhaps you should put down your personal "homegrown" and actually look for the truth. This may be too much to ask of a dem party apparatus like "tyt". Concentrating on trivial mis-speaks (saying energy instead of natural gas and oil) only shows your shallow nature. Energy is a national security issue...our economy is a national security issue. The Strategic alliance between Russia and Venezuela is a national security issue. Deal substantively with these issues and perhaps "air america" will break even or turn a profit. Truth sells. Maybe a story on Obama being in the pockets of Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and Big Green? Grow a pair, be fair!

6. With these off the cuff comments by Obama, some believe that Michelle must have been the shadow (brains) Senator.

1. He listened to a repertoire of contemptible sermons for twenty years and heard only good utterances from his now infamous Pastor.
2. He stated with certainty that he had visited 57 US states with one left to go.
3. He stated that world leaders should get to know the man who will be in power for the next 8 to 10 years (Most experts believe two terms = only 8 yrs).
4. He was asked if he would have changed his position of a year ago that the Iraq surge strategy would fail, knowing now that it has succeeded. He responded steadfastly, no his position would not change.
5. He recently wowed an Israeli audience by extolling his efforts to cutoff Iranian funding, by identifying the achievements of HIS Senate Banking committee (Some idealists might argue that since Obama is not a member of this committee nor authored any relevant legislation he should not use this theme as a talking point).
6. He enthralled a campaign crowd last Memorial day when he stated that an WWII veteran Uncle of his was in the squad that first reached the Jews imprisoned at Auschwitz (Some Obama detractors might point out that Auschwitz was liberated by Russian solders and Obama did not have an Uncle that was a solder during WWII).

If elected President we better hope that there is some intelligent shadow making the decisions.

8. There's something perverse about being lectured on truthfulness by the Pinnochio Party, the people who brought you John Kerry, Bubba and Hillary Clinton. I'm sorry, that's just over the top.

And I don't think what Palin said qualifies as a lie anyways. This is Cenk trying to muddy the waters. This Turks blog is the longest running infomercial of all time on behalf of the Democrat Party. Shameless.

10. That was the number on the Alaska State website, 20%. It has (or will be changed) changed to show the actual amount which is approx 17% currently.
