2. Dr. Maddow is spot on in a way that can get the majority in the US to understand what is going on. Unlike someone such as myself who thrives on political information from both the left and the right, the general public needs to be kept interested in things that they should be interested in, but most of the time would not be when spoken to from a experts standpoint, not one for the average man.

It is a necessity that we do not allow any action by those in appointed federal positions, nor elected officials, to avoid potential prosecution. We already have seen the current republican administration avoid subpoenas from Congress, and most recently from the Alaska Congress, and we do not need to begin to give more power to an already power starved, to follow the metaphor, 7 year old.

No candy to the child without direct parental supervision in every bite, no power to those who have not earned the right through proper stewardship on the duties of office they have already been given and no by all means.. no sleeping for the Congress that has allowed such actions to take place for fear of loosing their jobs due to a lack of being re-elected.

Anyone who has followed the root cause (as most economists have already explained) there were 2 factors that put us on track to this disaster. First - in 1995, at the behest of the Treasury Secretary, Clinton allowed the sanctioning of ARM's and Interest only mortgages. Secondly, in 1999, again the Treasury Secretary got Clinton to repeal the regulations that separated Banks and Insurance Co., which started a process that spiraled the economy to where it is today. You liberals are of such simple minds (and short memory) P.S. And where is this Treasury Secretary today??? But of course he is Robert Rubin who is the Economic Advisor to OBAMA. Before you try your hand at Liberal Spin, get the facts!

9. Hitler Was a community Organizer - (Say what?) - A few good points, but proper spelling, punctuation and capitalization always help.

History suggests Hitler was a murderous tyrant, a dictator thug and a doctrinaire evolutionist, forcefully promoting that "master race" idea, not really a community organizer. I really don't think he was trying to help anybody as Barack Obama was, however misguided he may have been.

But how, exactly, does one gain employment as a Community Organizer? And what are the job requirements? The job title sounds like a very fishy euphemism. Why is it we've never heard of this type of job before Obama showed up?

Anybody who questions Palin's qualifications for Vice President needs to explain how being a CO qualifies Obama to be President. I don't think it can be done with a straight face.

11. There are two groups that are to blame. First are lenders who wrote mortgages for people who were unlikely to make their monthly payments. It doesn't require regulation to tell a bank that it should only loan money to people who are creditworthy.

Second are the people who, despite limited finances, decided that they had to join in and buy a house. If you can't get approved for a 30-year fixed, don't even think about going into an ARM, when rates are at historic lows.
