After her questionable interview with ABC's Charlie Gibson, Sarah Palin and the McCain camp decided to take a hiatus from the media. But Palin finally decided do an interview with Katie Couric. After watching the interview, people discovered exactly why she took a hiatus in the first place...she has no idea what she's talking about. Cenk Uygur makes the argument in the clip below:

1. May a terrorist find his way to Harry Reid's doorstep.
The little weasel in a press conference seizes the opportunity to polticize the hell out of the current financial crisis facing this country.
He starts out saying "it's time not to bring politics" into the current situation, in the next breath he inserts everyone had in principle agreed on "Obama's" proposal.
Next sentence he throws in "it all fell apart when you know who came to town" speaking of McCain.
The little weasel failed to mention Paulsons' "proposal" was just that, a proposal. Reid undoubtedly forgets the other side gets to interject their thoughts into the process. He chooses to take a national forum & turn it into political glitz. He fails to mention McCain was summoned by the president, himself & Paulson to help broker the agreement.
What a piece of shit he is, is there an honest liberal in this entire country??

2. That's odd-I can't seem to find the YouTube piece showing how Roosevelt went on TV to reassure the nation after the crash of 1929. Joe Biden said that's what leaders, who know what they're talking about do...

3. Bobby, you got anything to bother saying about Palin's inability to give a specific and concrete answer to critical issues facing America?

4. Am I the only one who understands McCains thought processes? He is a big fan of Battlestar Galactica and fancies himself as being Admiral Adama leading the remnants of mankind and he looked for someone to play the part of the inexperienced but gutsy school teacher upon whom the Presidency is thrust.

Somber, I've got plenty to say about everything concerning this election. I don't have a lot to say about these sophmoric 30 minute blogs Cenk puts up.
Try to be concerned about the top of the ticket as much as you seem concerned with the "gotcha" aspect of the lower tier. For the record I understand Palin needs a little "tweaking" on the national scene, I've said that several times on these blogs. I believe in her principles as a strong conservative backed by conservative fundamentals, that encompasses my faith in the woman but mostly John McCain.
It's obvious there's some reforming that needs to be done to fine tune the dated rulings in place, I believe when it's spelled out in its proper perspective (when all is unjumbled) McCain & Palin will act with integrity for the best interest of the American people.
I don't share that same faith in Obama/Biden & their half baked philosophies.....

6. Bobby: Somebody has drilled a hole in your head that has allowed all the brain cells to ooze out so you can't think for yourself. But then, again, why think when you can continue to parrot the same old
pathetic recycled shit ??????????????????? GOP = Grande Olde Party of Liars and Hypocrites. You pathetic nincompoops would rather destroy this country with fears and lies because you are gutless and chickens and scared that a Black man might just become the President of the U.S. Your mother must have forgotten to wash your mouth with soap when you were growing up since you seem to delight in spewing hate, ignorance, garbage and rasicm everytime you do open your mouth.

7. CBS, they have the right people don't they? Before Couric they had Dan Rather and his producer Mary Mapps.
It's a good thing being "prepared for office" doesn't seem to be a quality in the fore front that get's politicians elected. If it were, then Barbara Boxer, Hillary Clinton, Christian Todd-Whitman, Elizabeth Dole, Olympia Snowe, Nancy Pelosi, Kathleen Sebelious and Janet Napalitano wouldn't have been or be in government roles.
Now, depending on one's politics, these elected officals are all good leaders. But none of them sat down with complete understanding of governing their state or taking over a congressional committee.

9. Let me give some of you a comparitive analogy of how important it is to reach an agreement & resolution to this credit crisis we're experiencing.
Here where I live in the southeast they're starting to post signs at gas stations limiting customers to ten gallons or less. It's my understanding in the Charlotte area they've basically run out of product. That makes for a tense situation & people will glut gasoline if given the chance. I'm sure this is temporary based on refining in the Houston area being down for a week or so with supplies not catching up to demand yet, it will pass.
In retrospect, if this financial crisis doesn't get worked out soon you'll have major banks start to back off on unsecured credit card purchasing. When you go to swipe your card & it comes back "refused" that same sense of panic will start to kick in with purchasing power. People will start to withdraw sums of cash from their banks until that supply runs out. Bank employees will try to talk you out of withdrawing your funds, the system will start to "blackout" with dire consequences.
That's not a doomsday scenario, it will happen. Just because none of us have seen it in our lifetime this will be the result.
Our politicians need to get off their high horse, be sensible & approach the problem with all of our best interests in mind....

Hope, read your own comments before accusing anyone of spreading "hate". You didn't say one single thing substantial in your whole post. I've got a feeling even with "a hole drilled in my head", I've got more common sense about what's going on than on your best day of thinking clearly.
If you've got something you'd like to debate me about on this financial crisis, go for it. Other than that, don't waste my time with your bullshit...

11. There is no doubt about it - Sarah Palin is scary! But middle America loves her! The more you point out how unprepared and ignorant she is, the more the GOP Base will defend her right to govern us.

Would you please post an illustration of my many racist comments so you can fully expose me.

Sarah,
Sarah Palin if elected will have no powers to "govern" us. She & Biden both are mere figureheads & protege/ee's of the presidency.
Democrats started this demographic war to seize the different voting sectors, now live with the outcome of it....

15. YouTube piece showing how Roosevelt went on TV to reassure the nation after the crash of 1929.
Funny, I do believe that TV was rather a bit of a rare thing back in the 20's & 30s. Everyone sat around and "watched" the RADIO in the evenings.
