7. Meanwhile a note on the debate.
The pundits on Fox were saying that there were no good soundbites. I think there were two soundbites that gave McCain the victory and that people will remember:
1) “John you’re right!” - stated 8 times by Obama, made McCain look like the better candidate as his opponent agreed with him on almost all of what McCain stated.
2) “Senator Obama does not understand” - stated 5 times by McCain, painted Obama as clueless on foreign policy.
No matter how much the mainstream media and the Obama camp spins this debate, the two statements above were drilled into people’s minds tonight and I believe will have lasting effect.

12. I'm so sick of hearing about Palin. It's not her fault she is who she is. She is a governor and is not really expected to have knowledge on foreign policy or house and senate voting records.
I do however believe it was a reckless VP choice from the McCain camp and this choice comes to no surprise especially knowing Mccain took meetings with religious right leaders such as Phil Burress, Richard Land, and others based on the idea that they'll gather those religious right voters.
McCain could have chosen Charlie Crist who is very popular in FL or Chris Cox whose experience serving on the Securities and Exchange Commission would balance out McCain's lack of economic knowledge. Instead they went the religious right way, which I believe in an economic crisis is costing McCain the lead he would have gotten had he chosen someone else.
I'm not happy in regards to both candidates but nothing scares me more than the religious right, nothing!

14. Let me see if I understand here. The Pagan "Goddess" is upset McCain didn't chose Charlie Crist or Chris Cox for VP. Goddess, you forgot Tim Pawlenty, another nondescript Republican.
Something tells me you weren't planning on voting Republican anyways. You're just grouchy because Sarah Palin has unified the Republican base (not just Christians, everyone) and made it more likely that you're going to lose in November. But, don't worry. You'll still have Chris Dodd and Barney Frank.
